Love was standing still inside of a wooden house,if you could call it that.
The place was extremely clean, Which normally wouldn't be a bad thing,she still remembered all the times both she and mother would be nagging Ven about how he needed to clean his room,She had always found his lax behavior when it came to cleaning annoying,yet now, even that was something she missed.
The Ven of now seemed obsessed with cleaning for some reason,he would always avoid touching others as well,even she herself and mother.
His strange obsession with cleaning could be seen as a symbol of just how much different he was now,The younger brother she once knew as someone always cheerful now always seemed callous and indifferent to everything,she hasn't seen him smiling in almost a year by this point...
At least she had thought that with time, it was possible he would return to normal, even if not completely...

Love knew it Very clearly,the chances of Ven surviving the First Path of Asura were essentially zero.
No matter how much she tried to convince herself,the stories of the countless people who had tragically perished in there would bring her back to reality.

Love wanted to at least know the reason,the reason why her brother would die,why her mother would certainly remain in suffering for months, years even, which is why she was here,to get an answer.
Looking at the young man who looked to be only around 16-18 years old and yet had a gaze reminiscent of an Ancient person,worn out by the world,Love Asked in a calm yet somewhat fierce voice,
"Why?,Why did you do it?"
Veangeance remained silent for a while,his eyes locked onto hers,after a while,the answer came,
"So that I won't be a Slave."
"Huh,what exactly is that supposed to mean?"

"Because of Heaven, Humans only exist because of Heaven,they live because of Heaven,they die because of Heaven,They feel joy because of Heaven, Sorrow because of Heaven."

Love stayed silent for a minute,then two, and one more, she couldn't properly understand what exactly she had just heard,the answer was far too different than anything she would have expected.
"What about mother...what about me, don't you care whatsoever about how your decision impacts us, you know she will have her heart torn apart once she hears the news right?,After losing Father,She will also lose you,after all that she did for you,this is how you repay her?"

After Love had left, Veangeance proceeded to take off his robe, revealing a toned and defined upper body, around over a year ago, Veangeance was a very skinny youth,his appearance was one of frailty and innocence.
Now however,his physique was similar to a well trained mortal warrior,his emotionless gaze gave his face a predatory feeling.
He went to Wash his hands and prepared some food,he was about to have a meal when a light knock was Heard at the door.
Veangeance stood still for a while before going to open the door.
Beyond it,a girl with dark hair,large feminine eyes and a very attractive appearance stood.
The Girl,was Akane, someone who Veangeance once liked and who he thought liked him as well, although they were never in an actual relationship or anything,there had been a sort of romantic mood between them,or at least he tought before,now he wasn't sure whether she had never liked him at all and just saw him as a friend,was only around mainly because of his status as a peerless genius or actually had some romantic feelings.
Akane stood silent for a while,she had already tought of what to say,but looking at the cold and indifferent eyes that were barely even looking at her,she kind of froze a little...
"Hey...Long time no see I guess?"
Her voice was cute sounding and feminine.
"..."
"...hmm,how can I say...I just came here to check on you,After your decision to try to become an Asura,I imagine I won't have much time to see you anymore,so I just wanted to say... I'm sorry."
"...I see no reason as to why you should apologize,you simply made the decision that would favor you the most."

She stopped speaking for a while,and Veangeance could see that she probably didn't want to continue the topic.

After saying that,Akane started walking backwards slowly and Veangeance could see a handsome youth with blonde hair looking in their direction.
Veangeance closed the door and went to Wash his hands before eating.
Regarding the matter of Akane,he didn't care about it anymore, before he had felt insecure and inferior,but now,he simply couldn't care.
Why would it matter to him whether or not he satisfied the romantic or sexual standards of someone else?,that would only be relevant if one desired to find a companion,and as he was now,that wasn't an interest of his.
He simply found it unnecessary to worry about whether he could please others or not, whether he was superior or inferior to others when it came to satisfying the standards others have for a mate.

Vyncent was Attentively looking at the beautiful girl that was walking towards him,when she arrived he asked her in a sort of playful and confident sounding masculine voice.
"So,how did it go?"
"...It went well, better than I expected...He really seems to have changed quite a lot..."
"Huh,well I can see that as well, before he always gave me a prey like feeling,now whenever I look at him,I feel the opposite.
I wonder how fun it would be to fight him..."
"Would you please not,the last thing I need is you two fighting..."

Although Akane's parents and even Vyncent's own parents weren't very fond of The idea of Akane being near Veangeance, Vyncent himself didn't care,if he was going to be insecure because of something like that,there was no point in even being with Akane in the first place.
He was more than confident in his own value when compared to anyone else.

It was now morning, Veangeance would now take his first class at the Hall of Fate.
Veangeance was currently 18 years old,He was a student at the Eternal house of learning,a place were Prodigents go to improve their skills after the awakening ceremony.
Now that the Succession ceremony had Ended, Veangeance would be going to the Hall of Fate,a specific hall within the Eternal house of learning in which Only those who chose a succession are allowed to go learn more information about Their specific abilities, Although all Fated use power from the Successions,all of their Abilities aren't the exact same.
Instead,Fated of the same succession will gain abilities related to that specific succession.
For Example, if someone chose the Succession of the Blazing Dawn,they would have abilities related to either the Sun, Vitality, Radiation or all of them.
One might have the ability to release solar rays and another the ability to absorb the vitality of others, another might have both in exchange for not having some other ability.
The hall of fate could predict what abilities they would receive and grant them the capacity to use those abilities whitin the confines of the hall.
This would allow Fated to familiarize themselves with their powers around 6 months before they actually receive them.
In Veangeance's case however,it is more like a possibility of what he will receive in case he doesn't die.
After taking care of all the necessary matters, Veangeance proceeded to leave the wooden house and went in direction of the Eternal house of learning.
