Chapter 9: Disguise Area Activated
Dylan gave it a shot.
He took out a Gold Galleon from his backpack.
As expected, with a thought, the Gold Galleon disappeared from his hand.
Looking at the system panel again, the [Money] column showed the amount of Gold Galleons.
Dylan was overjoyed and hastily put in all the money he had on him, including the British pounds his parents had given him.
Including all the items he had purchased.
"This system is great. I do not even require an external object such as a space ring, and it can prevent others from stealing from me."
And above all, by placing the money in the system panel, he did not have to put his money in Gringotts.
Gringotts' vaults were not so easy to open. Every time they were opened, even just to deposit money, there was a charge.
Dylan did not want to be a sucker.
And as for the item column, it allowed him to store his items at will, which was a plus.
Dylan was very pleased.
Looking at the amount of money in the panel and the stocked item column.
He prepared to continue working to stock them up.
Looking at the next reward.
He took a glance over the magic affinity and potion affinity.
Then he looked at the other two areas on the system panel.
They were the wizard robe beautification area and the wand beautification area.
These two areas were not in the wizard hat icon but in the magic wand icon.
When he clicked on them, a new page prompt was displayed.
——————————
[Name]:Dylan Hawkwood
[Refinable spells]:None
[Beautifiable wands]:1
[Beautifiable wizard robes]:1
——————————
The wizard robe area was still dark.
This was because he had only ordered his wizard robe today, and he would need to wait a while to receive it.
After thinking for a moment, Dylan also clicked on the [Beautifiable wand] column.
He found that this was only to allow him to spend money to change the appearance of his wand.
Including but not limited to the shape, color, and even the color of the magic released by the wand.
"This..."
Dylan's initial reaction was to feel that this thing was useless, but then he thought again.
Since he was able to set the color, was colorless a color?
If he was able to render the magic emitted by the wand colorless.
His Dark Arts would be easier to cast, wouldn't they?
Seeing the price to pay.
"What? 100 Gold Galleons to change a setting??"
He felt that this system was crazy.
How could an achievement system have a development set too?
And it was being sold!
Dylan looked at the wand he had just bought.
"Never mind, I'll wait when I have money."
Dylan clicked on the dark [Beautifiable wizard robe] column.
Although this function wasn't available since he hadn't gotten the wizard robe, that didn't prevent him from checking out the function of this section.
It was the same as the wand section.
It was all about spending money to design the appearance of the wizard robe.
But the unique part was that as long as he was wearing the wizard robe, he could even personalize his own look.
Such as styling his hair, changing the pattern of the wizard robe, and even putting on makeup, all kinds of makeup.
It also took 100 Galleons to change a setting.
"It's worthy of a dressing room. It's truly a money pit."
The aforementioned changing a setting meant, for example—
Hairstyle changing was a hundred.
Makeup changing was also a hundred.
Wizard robe style changing was also a hundred.
And this setting could not be saved.
It meant that as long as he changed it once, he would have to pay to change it back next time.
Dylan sighed.
"Things that can be solved with money aren't a problem. These two areas will surely come in useful if I've got money in the future."
In fact, whether changing the appearance of the wand or his appearance, it would be very useful in his future endeavors.
But the system just created such a function, which made Dylan feel.
Did the system want him to become the Dark Lord and rob all the deposits in Gringotts to fill it up?
"Alas, among these rewards, what I like the most is the hundred Gold Galleons."
This was at least a few hundred pounds, and it would take their family a long time to earn it back!
"Moo~" Little Umbra, seeing its master laughing and crying, couldn't help but cry out again.
"Are you hungry?" Dylan smiled.
He took out some food.
He didn't dare to buy pet food in the Magical Menagerie today.
After all, he was going to ask the owner how to raise Little Umbra.
If he didn't buy a pet but just bought food, he would probably be reported directly.
He didn't want to take this risk.
After feeding Coal Ball, Dylan put it back into the system's pet space.
"It's not easy to get a license, let's sleep first."
Dylan covered his face and slept.
The next morning when he woke up, Dylan looked at all kinds of books he had bought at Flourish and Blotts.
He wanted to use the month before school started to preview and learn some spells in advance.
"I wonder if Harry Potter is in the same grade as me."
Dylan did not ponder this question for long.
After all, he would find out about this when school began.
As he had learned the six full-level spells, he could essentially coast through normal standard beginner spells.
"Leviation Charm?"
Studying for a while, Dylan tried to levitate the book before him.
Holding the wand, he softly tapped it.
"Wingardium Leviosa!"
Whoosh!
The magic in his body coursed precisely into the wand, then was released, covering the book in front of him.
"Huh? It worked on the first try?"
Dylan was a little surprised.
However, before he could celebrate, it seemed his magic output was a bit too large, or that he had been letting out magic.
This caused the book, which only needed to be enveloped in a little magic, to shudder slightly.
And then it fell onto the desk with a "bang."
" Well~ the magical control needs to get more precise."
Enthusiasm in Dylan's heart kept him busy working at attempting the spell on the textbook in front of him.
And he found something out too.
When he learned the Levitation Charm, this spell's figure was also shown on his panel.
This spell, though, wasn't like the other spells, which only had the spell name, but it had a parenthesis.
For example, Levitation Charm (3/10).
It seemed to be about the proficiency of the spell.
