With a sudden crack, a golden formation lit the room. From the center appeared a floating man cloaked in silver and fire, his eyes glowing with ancient power.
"Heavenly Maiden, you have summoned me. What is your command?"
Yin Yin stood frozen. "W-Who are you?! Why did you call my mother that?"
The man turned to Yin Yin and knelt slightly. "The son of the Heavenly Maiden… it is an honor."
Yin Yin's head spun. "Mother… who are you really?"
His cultivation realm mother looked at him with soft eyes and finally spoke:
"I am from the Celestial Phoenix Clan, guardians of the Forgotten Flame. I came here to live a peaceful life after the war between realms. You… are my son, born of my mortal love."
Yin Yin's voice cracked. "Then why… doesn't this body have a spiritual root?"
Her eyes lowered.
"Because I sealed your power the moment you were born. To protect you. From those who want to steal the Phoenix bloodline."
She placed her hand on his chest. "But now… I can start to unseal it."
Golden flames burst around her hand, and a fiery mark began glowing faintly on Yin Yin's chest.
