Chapter 3 - Chapter 3: Heaven Crumbles for a Mortal

Six and a half months.

That's how long it took Yin Yin to completely change his fate.

No spiritual root. No teacher. No sect.

Only his stubbornness, knowledge, and one broken ring.

But now, as he stood beneath the twin moons of the cultivation world, his aura shook the clouds. His clothes fluttered without wind. He had reached the Heaven Perfection Realm—a level even most talented cultivators could only dream of in decades.

And he did it... as a mortal.

---

Back on Earth, his level would be called "Human Level"—but even that sounded divine. His punches could bend steel, and his speed rivaled cars. His senses were sharper than any animal, and his memory became photographic.

But Yin Yin wasn't done.

While back on Earth one evening, he watched an old video of Tai Chi. Something about its flow—its softness, its hidden power—resonated with the internal energy pathways he had studied in cultivation.

So he stood barefoot under the moonlight in the backyard and began to move.

Breathe. Flow. Release.

As he moved, something happened. The ring on his finger glowed faintly. A gust of wind swirled around him.

Then, the sky turned black.

Lightning danced. Clouds rolled unnaturally.

In the cultivation world, elders raised their heads in panic.

"This… this is not tribulation lightning… It's something else."

Back on Earth, a spiritual shockwave hit the trees, splitting them from the roots. Birds scattered, animals bowed. Yin Yin's body absorbed the energy like a black hole.

His bones cracked. His blood boiled.

But he kept moving.

Every step of Tai Chi sent waves of invisible energy across both worlds.

And then he saw it—

A vision.

Hundreds of people, both from Earth and the cultivation world, kneeling before him.

His professors. The CEO who mocked him. The sect masters who sneered at him. His cousin who once spit on his name.

"Genius…" they all whispered in the wind.

He opened his eyes.

"No... I'm not a genius," Yin Yin whispered. "I'm a mortal… who never gave up."

---

Meanwhile, in the shadows of the Yin clan manor, his cousin, Yin Kai, crushed a jade cup in his hand.

"How… how can he rise again?" Kai hissed. "No spiritual root… abandoned by the clan… and yet…"

He stood, eyes glowing with malice. "If he thinks he can become a dragon, I'll clip his wings before he soars."

Behind him, a figure in black robes stepped out of the shadows.

"Do you want power, Young Master Kai? There's a way… but it comes with a cost."

Kai smirked. "If it means I can destroy Yin Yin… I'll pay it."

---

The gears of fate were turning.

A mortal who dared to defy the heavens…

And a shadow that refused to be left behind.

To be continued…
