Episode 14: The Godless Order — Warpath of the Silver Blades!
[Page 1] – Splash Page
Scene: The Third Fragment lies shattered. Ash floats around Ren, his glowing spear still humming. Behind him, Lira and Kael stand battle-worn but alive.
Narration Box:
"Three fragments down. But peace remains a fleeting illusion."
From the shadows behind them... cloaked figures begin to emerge.
[Page 2] – The Ambush
Seven elite members of the Godless Order appear, their armor adorned with sigils that reject divine energy. The leader, Velran, steps forward — a cold smirk across his face.
Velran:
"So... you destroyed the Third Fragment. That makes things complicated."
Ren (aiming spear):
"And you are?"
Velran (drawing blade):
"The ones who'll ensure Zareth returns our way."
[Page 3] – Clash of Ideals
Lira:
"Why would humans want to bring back a Demon King?!"
Velran:
"Because gods abandoned us. Zareth offers freedom from their judgment. We are the Godless. We serve only power."
[Page 4] – The Battle Begins
Kael fires EMP pulses while Ren charges in. Velran counters Ren's strikes with ease, his silver blade absorbing energy like a mirror. Lira tries to flank — but a second Godless member intercepts her, wielding chain-scythes.
Godless Warrior:
"Your wind bends to divine will. Ours cuts it down."
[Page 5] – Kael's Gambit
Kael throws down a distorted field. The environment begins to bend, giving the team an opening.
Kael (to Ren):
"Ten seconds! After that, I can't hold the tech warp!"
Ren:
"Then we end this now!"
[Page 6] – Ren's Critical Blow
Ren fakes a direct strike — but throws his spear upward instead. The spear splits midair into seven bolts of crimson light. The largest crashes down toward Velran — piercing the sigil core on his armor.
Velran (wide-eyed):
"Impossible...!"
[Page 7] – Retreat of the Godless
The Order vanishes in blinding silver light. Velran's parting words echo:
Velran:
"You may win a battle... but the war has already begun. Zareth remembers you, Tyrant."
[Page 8] – Aftermath and Revelation
Ren falls to one knee. His mark has grown again — now creeping across half his chest.
Lira (worried):
"Ren... the mark's changing."
Kael (analyzing):
"It's reacting to the fragments... and something else."
Suddenly, the orb from Nyzael pulses again — projecting an image: the Fourth Fragment… floating above a massive ruined city in the sky.
[Page 9] – Final Panel
A broken, levitating city surrounded by shattered statues of gods. A single figure waits among the ruins — a woman with wings made of living chains and eyes that see across time.
Narration Box:
"Above the clouds lies the fourth gate. And she is waiting."
