But she thought of it as a perfect way to relieve her mental stress.
Three months have passed since the beginning of their relationship. And even if Usagi wouldn't admit it, she had developed her feelings for the boy.

A dangerous mission
"Congratulations for your promotion, Usagi chan." Minato pushed forward a box wrapped in clothes towards Usagi.
"Thank you Minato senpai." Usagi, maintaining her cheerful attitude received it with a bright smile. After that the four of them started having a small party. A lot of food was ordered. Followed by some drinks. Even though usually Kushina would be against drinking, that night she allowed it. Usagi knew that her alcohol resistance was really strong. So she also participated in a small drinking contest between the four of them. Finally after 2 hours of happy moments it was time to depart.
"Yuji ? Are you going to walk me to my apartment." Usagi was definitely tipsy.
"*Sigh* I told you not to drink too much. You can barely walk. So obviously I can't let you go on your own."
"Hmmm…. Are you sure you just want to help me ? You don't want to take advantage of my drunken state ?" Usagi, who had lost some control over her own words, blurted out what she was thinking.
"What ! What are you talking about ? I would never do that !" Yuji immediately defended himself.
"Sure…. Then take me to my house. I want a piggyback ride." Usagi said for the final time before falling asleep on Yuji's shoulder.
The next day when Usagi woke up, she found herself in her apartment. Her clothes are completely intact except for her shinobi shoes. Despite their age, it was completely legal for them to drink. And there was a fair reason for that. Using Chakra naturally boosts growth of the body and strengthens resistance to different types of abnormal conditions. It was not the first time Usagi had gotten drunk. But it was definitely the worst hangover she has faced till now.
"Fuck ! I think I need to take a cold shower." Usagi cursed, getting out of her bed.
"You are awake ?" The sudden voice of Yuji Usagi for a moment.
"You are here... and I am still a virgin….." Usagi muttered to herself.
"Is it just me or are you really disappointed that I didn't do anything last night ?" Yuji chuckled as he asked Usagi.
"Well I am a little disappointed but I am also happy that you didn't take advantage of the situation. And for that I have decided. Once you get promoted to a Jounin, prepare a special reward for you." Usagi winked at Yuji, flashing a seductive smile. After spending time with Yuji, she had gained a rough understanding of his potential and will power. He might have been promoted to a Chunin for his sensory abilities. But he has yet to master a majority of his clan's ninjutsu, to get promoted to a Jounin. So it would take him at least a couple more years to reach that level.
"By the way, why are you still here ?" Usagi asked Yuji.
"Well…. I received the news of your promotion a little late. So I couldn't prepare any gifts last night. So I decided to cook you your breakfast to make up." Yuji answered.
"You are talking as if it is a good thing. My promotion to Jounin means they will frequently send me outside the village for frontline missions. That's the main reason why I drank so much last night. But thanks anyway. I appreciate it." Usagi commented.
"I still don't understand why you are so cautious against the higher ups. Anyway, I have already prepared the ingredients. The rice is almost cooked too. Go take a bath or something. I will prepare breakfast." Yuji said to Usagi before going back to the kitchen.
Soon Usagi came back after finishing her morning routine and made herself comfortable on the dining table while Yuji served Omu-rice and chicken soup for breakfast. Two of them ate in silence while talking about their recent plans.
Yuji revealed that he was running out of money and was planning to take some C or B ranking missions outside the village to make some more money.
Usually chunins didn't make as much money as usual jounins. In fact the pay gap between these two ranks are astronomical. Usually a chunin who takes regular C and B ranked missions will earn around 100,000 to 150,000 ryos in a month. But unfortunately Yuji worked under the barrier and sensory corps. It has its advantages, like being paid a fixed salary of 60,000 ryos every month without exposing himself to any dangerous mission. But there were many advantages and disadvantages of getting accepted into a particular department. Of course the hokage can always assign him to admission outside the village and he wouldn't be able to decline it. On top of that he was not a seal master like Usagi, who could create storage scrolls and explosive tags to make around 300,000 ryos per month on top of her regular salary.
Usually 60,000 ryos should be enough for a Chunin. But Yuji has recently taken out a loan to build his own house in the outskirts of the Yamanaka district. That's why he needed extra money.
In the end Usagi decided to team up with Yuji to take a voluntary B ranked mission outside the village.
So after finishing their breakfast Yuji returned to his house to prepare for a mission. In the meantime, Usagi after putting on her regular kunoichi attire, went towards the hokage tower to secure an easy picking B ranked mission.

After a long consideration I had decided to wear my Jounin vest, even if it was a little uncomfortable for me around my chest.
'I should have gotten a bigger vest.' promising to change the vest after returning from the mission, I finally reached the mission assignment area to pick up a mission for myself and Yuji.
Unlike what it was shown in the Anime, the hokage doesn't assign every single mission. He just shows himself up while meeting important characters. In fact if the hokage is assigning the mission to you directly, then that means the mission is troublesome or the Hokage has taken interest in you.
The mission assignment lobby was located on the ground floor of the hokage tower. Just beside the lobby, there were two other rooms where regular Chunins and genins from genin corps gather, waiting for different jounins to pick them up for any mission.
After reaching the lobby I found it crowded as usual.
The scene reminded me of an adventure guild from other fantasy anime. But there is a simple difference between an adventurer and a Ninja. Even as a Jounin, I have no right to choose my own mission. The only thing that I can choose is my teammates and the rank of the mission that I would be taking. Of course jounins can also request for specific types of mission like escort type or patrol type or reconnaissance mission. But there is no guarantee that the mission will be granted.
I went forward to the desk which was empty.
"Good morning, chunin san. I would like to take a B ranked mission." I greeted the middle aged chunin managing the mission records and presented my request.
The man looked at me before his eyes widened in shock.
"Usagi san ?"
"Yes….. Ah…. Have we met before ?"
"You are really humble, Usagi san. You are the first person to get promoted to a Jounin at the age 12. So officially he was the youngest promoted jounin of the hidden leaf. Everyone is talking about you right now." The man said excitedly.
For a moment I was at a loss for words.
"I am sorry if I startled you. Can you please tell me your ID number ?"
"Ummm….283112696969"
"Is there any preference ?"
"Escort type mission."
"Wait a minute…."
"Here, this is your mission, Usagi san. The client will be expecting you to reach them around tomorrow morning. Now, please sign here."
I could feel the man sucking up to me to get into my good graces. Although I was a kind of introverted shinobi and rarely interacted with people outside my working circle despite acting cheerful, it seems that I was quite popular.
After finishing the regular procedure for taking a mission for the first time, I went to a corner before opening the scroll and reading its content.
"Land of wind, huh ?" I bit my lips after reading the mission details. It was a regular escort mission from a merchant Caravan. But the next part was tricky. The merchant will be travelling with his Caravan, all the way to the village hidden in the sand. Although the contents of the Caravan was nothing special, just different types of fabrics, the mission has been labeled as a B ranked mission, just because we will have to go all the way to the hidden sand village. This mission should have been labelled as an A ranked mission considering the current tension between the hidden leaf and the Hidden sand. Unfortunately the village cannot charge that much money from a mission that would have been a C ranked mission in the peace time.
This is a type of mission where everything could go wrong.
Since Yuji has yet to show up, I decided to go to the room of the genin corps to see if a certain man is present. Might Duy. That guy can help us a lot in this mission. Instead of choosing a hundred Chunins I would always choose that man to watch my back in every different scenario.
Unfortunately, the man was not there. But my eyes fell on another guy with a giant pan strapped on his back. I immediately recognised his identity.
Although Might Duy was unavailable, this guy is our second best option.
"Kisuke san, I presume ?" I asked the middle aged man.
"You are…. Usagi san, the current youngest Jonin." The man was polite. "How did you know my name ?"
"Well I heard it from Duy san. I was actually looking for him. I wanted to go on a B ranked mission. But since he is not here, would you mind joining us ?"
