Chapter 1 - CHAPTER 1

Welcome to the World of Dragon Ball... Activating Saiyan System...

[Ding! Newcomer gift package is now available...]

A mechanical voice echoed in Luya's mind, snapping him out of his sleep with a start.

Dragon Ball world? Saiyan system?

Wait a minute—did I just transmigrate? And not just anywhere… the Dragon Ball universe? With a system too?! God, this is way too sudden! I've dreamed of this, but I wasn't prepared!

He opened his eyes and was met with an endless sea of stars.

Am I drifting through space...?

Then he noticed something and gasped in shock. "No way! This... this is a Saiyan space pod! Just like the ones in Dragon Ball Z!"

Luya pinched his cheek—hard. The pain was real. No dream. This was really happening.

I've transmigrated into Dragon Ball... and I'm in a space pod?

He looked down at himself and examined his surroundings. His expression turned odd.

He was wearing classic Saiyan armor—tight black suit with shoulder plates. And behind him... a brown tail swayed slightly.

I'm a Saiyan?! Damn, not only did I transmigrate, I actually became one of them!

[Ding! Reminder: Newcomer gift package has been distributed. Would you like to open it?]

The robotic voice returned.

"Open it!" Luya said without hesitation.

[Ding! Congratulations, host has obtained: Super Saiyan transformation skill.]

[Ding! Congratulations, host has received an initial combat power of 100 million.]

[Ding! Congratulations, host has unlocked Great Ape (Oozaru) transformation.]

Suddenly, a terrifying surge of energy exploded from Luya's body. The space pod shuddered violently, and cracks formed in its structure.

"Crap, calm down, calm down!" Luya forced himself to suppress his power, afraid he'd destroy the pod and die in space before even landing.

A hundred million battle power from the start? That's absurd! He felt giddy—and also a little panicked.

"System, where am I right now? Is this Planet Vegeta?" he asked.

[No, host. You are currently in the timeline of Dragon Ball Super.]

Luya froze. His eyes widened. "Wait, what?! Are you serious?"

[Affirmative. Despite your current combat power, you're still far from the top. There are many who surpass you—Son Goku, Vegeta, even the Gods of Destruction.]

Luya: "..."

[Also, the space pod you're in is headed toward Earth.]

"Oh, thank god. If I ended up on some random death planet, I'd be screwed."

Then something clicked.

"Wait, if this is Dragon Ball Super... has the Tournament of Power started yet?"

[No. Right now, Goku and Vegeta are training with Beerus and Whis.]

Luya's brow furrowed. "So that means... Frieza's resurrection arc?"

[Correct. In fact, Frieza is revived in three hours. He will launch his assault on Earth in four months.]

Luya's expression turned grim.

So Frieza's army is probably already collecting the Dragon Balls... and I don't have time to stop them before they summon Shenron!

"System, is there any way to increase my strength quickly?"

To be honest, while a power level of 100 million would have been monstrous during the Namek Saga, by the time of Dragon Ball Super, it's far from impressive. In fact, untransformed Goku now operates on a completely different scale—his base form rivals gods, and with transformations like Super Saiyan Blue, he's magnitudes beyond.

Frieza, too, has evolved. His Golden Frieza form is more powerful than even Goku's Super Saiyan Blue—especially after his intense training post-resurrection.

The system responded:

"Correct. As long as the host completes the missions assigned by this system, rewards will be granted accordingly."

"Also, the host has access to the Super Saiyan transformation. Would you like to activate it?"

Luya shook his head. "No way—I'm not trying to die here!"

He understood the risk: if he activated his Saiyan bloodline inside the capsule, the resulting energy could tear it apart. Unlike Frieza, he couldn't survive the vacuum of space.

First priority: land safely on Earth.

Three hours later, a spacecraft pierced through Earth's atmosphere, its hull wrapped in flames as it descended toward the surface.

West City.

BOOM!

A thunderous crash shook the outskirts, leaving a crater over a hundred meters wide. Steam hissed from the edges as the scorched ground cooled.

In the center, a space pod embedded itself into the soil.

Click—click—click…

The hatch hissed open, revealing a young man stepping into the open air: Luya.

He looked around, wide-eyed. "So this is Earth… in the Dragon Ball world. It's nothing like the Earth I knew."

Back in his original world, Luya had been a below-average student, secretly addicted to late-night anime and action movies from Japan. But after reading a fan theory about Android 18 and Cell (No. 18 and Xilu, as they were called in the post), he'd suddenly blacked out and awoken in this world.

He still didn't know why.

He'd seen plenty of reincarnation stories before—but this? It was like he'd become the prologue of a multiverse-level fanfic!

Just as Luya was considering where to go next, two massive energy signatures rapidly approached from the distance.

He looked up in confusion.

Two figures descended—one younger, scholarly, with glasses and a gentle demeanor. The other tall, green-skinned, wearing a white cape and turban.

Son Gohan and Piccolo.

They landed a few meters away, eyes focused warily on the newcomer.

Piccolo's sharp eyes locked onto Luya's brown tail. His expression hardened.

"...A Saiyan?"

"Wha—what?!" Gohan gasped. "He has a tail?!"

Luya casually waved. "Yo. What's up?"

Piccolo and Gohan exchanged baffled looks. Gohan leaned toward Piccolo and whispered, "Is it just me, or did he just land here?"

Piccolo nodded grimly. "I sensed someone use the Dragon Balls nearby not long ago… Something's definitely off."

He turned to Luya. "Who are you?"

Luya chuckled, his tail swaying behind him. "Name's Luya. I'm a Saiyan. Nice to meet you, Gohan. Piccolo."

Both fighters stiffened in surprise.

"Wait, how do you know who we are?" Gohan asked, puzzled.

Luya shrugged. "Let's just say I did my homework. I knew Saiyans were on Earth, so I came looking."

Piccolo narrowed his eyes, scanning Luya's ki. It was dense… refined…

"Your energy is strong. Not like any ordinary Saiyan I've sensed before. And most Saiyans were wiped out by Frieza. Aside from Goku, Vegeta, and a few others, they're all gone."

"Right," Luya replied, "but I'm not from your universe."

"...What?"

"I'm from another timeline—another universe entirely."

Piccolo's eyes widened. "Another universe? As in, one of the other twelve?"

Luya nodded. "That's right."

Gohan and Piccolo stood frozen, sweat forming at their brows.

Another universe…

Just how strong was this guy?
