How do you rule over the good people?
Give them purpose. The illusion of choice. Make them feel safe, seen, and heard—even when they're not. Let them believe they matter, and they'll follow willingly.
How do you rule over the bad ones?
Fear .Constant fear. The kind that settles in their subconscious. Make them second-guess every move. Don't show an ounce of kindness.
Never show mercy—it creates hope. Fear keeps them predictable, isolated, obedient. And when they look at you, they shouldn't see a person.
They should see the manifestation of fear.
I'm Lie, the King of Hell. The one who rules over these bad ones. The face that even these nightmarish creatures fear.
This story will only end when one of the two sides remains—or when I am no longer here to perceive either.
"The preparation is complete, my King" Ness said, her voice steady."Earth awaits your rebirth."
"But to ensure the vessel survives the childbirth… your power must be extracted.Your presence, as it is now, would burn it from the inside out."
She paused.
"The process is delicate. Your essence isn't just powerful—it's unstable. It resists containment. One mistake and the vessel will collapse. You'll tear through it before you even take your first breath."
Her tone darkened.
"But it's necessary. You're no longer safe here. Someone is searching for you—the only one who's ever posed a real threat. The only being who can end you. If you remain, it's only a matter of time before they find you."
She exhaled, voice grim.
"The seal will suppress everything that makes you what you are. You'll bleed. You'll struggle. You might even lose…"
My voice broke the silence.
"It will be alright. I'll manage… even like this. I'll find a way to adapt." I glanced toward her, just slightly. "I'll try to do well."
Ness didn't respond immediately. Her expression stayed composed—but something flickered in her eyes. Something that didn't belong to a loyal servant.
"…Try not to die too quickly," she said, almost too casually.
"It would be inconvenient."
She turned away, just enough to hide what she didn't say.
The circle began to glow.
"I suppose it's time for me to take my leave."
Ness, who had turned away, looked back one more time.
"If we ever meet again… promise that you'll— udS#*&(#HJS—"
It seems the process had already started. I couldn't hear the rest. But I'd heard enough.
It's my first time hearing her ask for something, I don't have the right to deny her.
She was always there—right next to me.
"I PROMISE!"
