Chapter 17 - 17

Yoojin yanked his hand out of his brother's and stormed out of the room. Already aware of the two crazy gangsters following him.

He shoved opened the door and came face to face with Seok Simyung and Song Taewon.

Yoojin froze under Seok Simyung's icy glare and wished he could slink away. He would've ducked back into the small room if Sung Hyunjae and Han Yoohyun hadn't pressed into his back. He really didn't like Seok Simyung. Just seeing him reminded him of the bad times when Yoohyun kicked him out.

And Song Taewon's look wasn't any better. The calculating gaze that swept over Yoojin was eery enough to make the back of his neck tingle. It reminded him of how people inspected fruit at the grocery store, checking them for bruises or other damage.

"Han Yoojin," Song Taewon said. "I'm here to speak with you about your recent kidnapping."

"No," Han Yoohyun and Sung Hyunjae said in unison.

Yoojin laughed nervously and tried to ignore the chill he got from Seok Simyung. "It's alright if we talk," he said to Song Taewon.

"Hyung, no."

"Yoojin-ssi."

Song Taewon and Seok Simyung shared a similar confused look. Even Yoojin thought they were being ridiculous. Didn't it make him look more suspicious if he avoided the Association?

"Boss Yoohyun," Seok Simyung said. "Since your brother hasn't contracted with any syndicates, he falls under the Association's jurisdiction. They're the governing figure for guides. It would be best to allow—"

Yoohyun's eyes narrowed in warning. "My hyung doesn't guide. He's not even license with the Association so they have no right to talk to him."

"Umm, Yoohyun-ie…" Yoojin said shyly. "I registered with the Association. I'm actually going to get my license soon."

"What? Why?" Yoohyun's harden gaze settled on Sung Hyunjae. "Is someone making you?"

"It's not like that, Yoohyun-ie," Yoojin answered quickly.

"Then why do you want a licence? You don't guide anyone."

Song Taewon's brow arched, and he looked back at Yoojin, then at Sung Hyunjae. The foreboding feeling filled Yoojin before Song Taewon spoke. "Are you no longer in a relationship wi—"

"Mr. Song!" Yoojin shouted, interrupting him. "I'm so rude for not introducing you to my adorable little brother sooner. This is Han Yoohyun." Yoojin proudly patted his brother on the back. "I don't know if you've met before, but he's my only family. And very protective of me. He's also S-rank."

Hint: Shut the fuck up before Han Yoohyun finds out he's guiding Sung Hyunjae.

"Oh." Song Taewon's brow wrinkled. Yoojin sweated while he waited for his next words. "I understand…"

Yoojin sighed with relief. He and his brother promised to be honest with each other… but this could wait a bit.

"Hyung, what was he saying?"

Yoojin told him it was nothing, but he didn't miss Sung Hyunjae's mischievous look. Surely, he wouldn't provoke anyone right now.

Song Taewon took a long breath and said, "I understand Han Yoojin is still recovering. However, the report for the kidnapping is incomplete, and no one has been able to speak with him. Before he returns to Jupiter, I would like to ask him a few questions and verify his well-being."

Yoojin wondered if Song Taewon had tried to reach him before. If that was true, then why didn't anyone tell him? He looked at Sung Hyunjae and wondered what else he hadn't told him. The thought made him feel… powerless.

"How insensitive of the Association," Sung Hyunjae said. "After Han Yoojin's abduction by a high ranking esper, you think it's appropriate to speak with him alone?"

Song Taewon frowned and glanced at Yoojin. "Does speaking with high-ranking espers make you uncomfortable?"

Yoojin shrugged. He had been around high-ranked espers his whole life. He was more nervous about Song Taewon finding out about the murders.

Song Taewon nodded. He looked thoughtful. "Thank you for the insight. Next time I will have a low-ranked esper or an unawakened perform the follow-ups. But I would still like to confirm a few things with Han Yoojin."

Yoojin stopped Sung Hyunjae before he spoke. "It's fine," Yoojin said to Sung Hyunjae. "We can talk here. I'm sure it won't take long."

He pleaded with his eyes. He didn't want anything to interrupt his time with his brother.

Sung Hyunjae had looked annoyed when he talked to Song Taewon, and now the weight of those eyes focused on Yoojin. He mouthed, please. Sung Hyunjae's scowled deepened, but he finally sighed. He agreed.

Convincing Yoohyun was harder, but he got them to give him space while he answered Song Taewon's questions.

Yoojin's worse fear was unwarranted. Song Taewon didn't suspect the use of negative guiding or murders. The fire at Diarma's outpost destroyed the evidence. Song Taewon really was just performing a wellness check. He asked Yoojin a few questions about the kidnapping. Yoojin repeated the simple story Sung Hyunjae told him to stick to and kept his answers short.

Then Song Taewon asked an embarrassing question about his relationship with Sung Hyunjae. Seok Simyung advised Yoojin to skip it. Since the Association couldn't interfere in a lovers' relationship. Unless Yoojin felt unsafe, or he wanted to report Sung Hyunjae for breaking any guiding abuse laws.

It was the first time Yoojin was relieved to have Seok Simyung on his side. Seok Simyung was actually a great help with mediating, but Yoojin hoped he wouldn't tell his brother about the relationship.

Even though it was going smoothly, Yoojin's stomach knotted with unease, and it was getting harder to breathe.

Yoojin had never told anyone about the first time he tried to get his license. It had been right after Yoohyun had ruined Yoojin's reputation. He signed a contract with the Association only to find out he had been tricked. It was a dedicated guiding contract with an unspecific esper, meaning they could give it to anyone.

The Association was supposed to be a safe place for guides, but they had almost forced him into servitude. Yoojin bought back the contract for a ridiculous price. It led to him taking out a loan with Diarma.

He didn't want to tell his brother or Sung Hyunjae because he knew they would interfere with him getting his license. This time would be different, and he would be a great guide for them.

But right now he felt dizzy and his mouth was so dry he had trouble speaking.

Yoojin glanced at Sung Hyunjae and his brother. They stood by the floor-to-ceiling windows and looked so unworldly with the natural sunlight shining on them. It was so nice seeing them together. They really were handsome.

Yoojin smiled, and they smiled back. The tension in his stomach faded, and he could finish Song Taewon's questions.

He was sure, as long as he had Sung Hyunjae and his brother, everything would be okay. But the longer he looked at Song Taewon, the more he wondered. How was it possible for someone at the Association to trick him with an unconscionable contract?

Let's Destroy the Association, Part One

"Have you kept up with the latest news about missing guides?" Han Yoohyun asked Sung Hyunjae.

Sung Hyunjae answered without looking away from Yoojin, who started to look nervous. "Fifteen in the past month. Seven unlicensed, five low ranks, two unregistered, and one student from the Association. Ask me a harder question next time."

"Where's Choi Sukwon?"

"Hiding in China."

The news surprised Yoohyun. "Does Hyung know?"

"He knows the situation, but not the fine details. He's worried about enough."

Sung Hyunjae watched Yoojin tense. The trauma from the kidnapping wouldn't go away just because it was over. But Yoojin believed ignoring it was the most effective method. Yoojin probably didn't realize how forced his smile looked, or how his shoulders trembled. Sung Hyunjae watched him closely to make sure he wasn't near a panic attack.

Oh, Yoojin. When will you stop carrying this burden by yourself?

Yoohyun nodded, agreeing. "And the guide who tricked Yoojin? Did you kill her?"

Sung Hyunjae regarded him for a moment. "Do you think I'm a common criminal?" Yoohyun waited for an answer without replying. "No. I didn't kill her. I reported her to the Association."

"That's…it?" The bewilderment on Yoohyun's face was quickly replaced with anger. He struggled to keep his voice down. "After what she did to my brother?"

"It's because of your brother I am following the proper procedure to report her. She lost her position, her reputation was ruined, the Association has fined her, and her license was revoked. No esper will work with her again and she's being charged with a criminal offense. She lost her housing at Jupiter and is staying with relatives. I have someone following her as well, in case she contacts Choi Sukwon. Considering the financial troubles she faces, she'll need help."

"That's it?" Yoohyun nearly growled. "That's all you're doing after she betrayed my brother? For a chance she might lead us to Choi Sukwon?"

"She also tried to assassinate me as well, Young Master. Shouldn't we try to look friendly, for your brother's sake?"

"I don't care what happens to you, but why didn't you just kill her?"

Just then, Yoojin glanced back at them. The tightness around Yoojin's mouth vanished, and his shoulders relaxed. Yoojin smiled, and his nearly obsidian eyes lit up, capturing the light from the room and erasing the tension.

Sung Hyunjae smiled back. Everything about his little guide was adorable. Yoojin was small, but not short or weak. Just the perfect size to fit into his arms. The dark hair covering his forehead was amazingly soft and long enough to run his fingers through. Or grip in his fist. Yoojin was also one of the wittiest people he had ever met. Along with how easily flustered he became, Sung Hyunjae would intentionally tease his guide just to get a rise out of him. He loved being able to make him blush.

Yoojin turned back to Song Taewon. Sung Hyunjae sighed. "I've become soft on guides."

Yoohyun glared and asked, "That's your excuse? You've become soft?"

"And I have something planned if she's not useful to find Choi Sukwon," Sung Hyunjae reassured.

Yoohyun sighed. "I would rather track Choi Sukwon down on my own and deal with her separately."

"In good time, Young Master. Let her suffer for now. Don't you remember how hard it is for guides with ruined reputations?"

The comment only raised Yoohyun's resentment. "What about the esper you told me about? Noah? The one who took my brother to Choi Sukwon's hideout."

A dark smile spread across Sung Hyunjae's lips. "He is recovering slowly since I haven't sent him any guides."

"I want to meet him."

Sung Hyunjae heard the low threat in the Young Master's voice. It didn't matter if Sung Hyunjae agreed or not, Yoohyun was merely giving him a courtesy warning, not asking for permission.

"I'll set up a time for you two to meet, but I advise you not to kill him."

"Why not?"

"He's proven his usefulness and loyalty when he risked his life for your brother. He'll be a valuable guard, and Yoojin doesn't dislike him, either." That last part still irritated Sung Hyunjae, but there was nothing to be done. He had scouted for replacements, but Yoojin had distanced himself from other espers since the kidnapping. Until Yoojin felt safe around other espers again, the people available to protect him were limited. Noah once again scraped by with his life.

"Usefulness? He put my hyung in danger and you're letting him live? Why? Have you developed a soft spot for espers as well?"

Sung Hyunjae gave him a side look and looked back at Yoojin. He didn't like how close Song Taewon stood to Yoojin, nor had he enjoyed watching him guide someone else, even if it was his brother. It bothered him more than expected. The dark and possessive part of Sung Hyunjae wanted to make it clear that Yoojin was his guide.

He fought it down.

"I don't want my brother to get a guiding license," Yoohyun said. "The Association used to offer me bribes for a contract with Yoojin. I don't want him going to the Association."

Sung Hyunjae glanced at him for a moment. "Is that why you never had him register?"

"I never wanted Yoojin to be a guide. Who is he guiding now to make him go through the Association?"

"Your brother wants to be a guide. Do you think you can stop him?" Sung Hyunjae laughed at the thought of anyone trying to stop Yoojin. "I've taken steps for his safety and set up informants inside the Association."

Yoohyun faced Sung Hyunjae and lowered his voice to a harsh whisper. "Stop him from going. Refuse to let him out of Jupiter until Choi Sukwon is found."

Sung Hyunjae smiled bitterly. "What a perfect plan, Young Master. Let Yoojin be angry with me for locking him up. Then, once Choi Sukwon is gone, he'll run back to you to escape me."

Han Yoohyun didn't deny it, but his eyes narrowed challengingly. "He's not staying with you for much longer. This is the least you can do after you messed up."

Sung Hyunjae laughed, feeling that darkness inside him rise again. "Or are you worried about how close your hyung and I have become? It's only been two weeks, and he's already protecting me from you. Do you think we'll find Choi Sukwon before Yoojin finishes the four-week course? How much more enthralled will he be with me? He may even be bonded to me by then."

Sung Hyunjae had to step back as the floor splintered under his feet and the window cracked from the pressure of Han Yoohyun's power. Han Yoohyun's eyes flickered red at the thought of his hyung being taken by an esper.

"Careful, Young Master," Sung Hyunjae's voice remained cheerful. "Your hyung is watching. He wants us to be friends."

Han Yoohyun froze and his fist unclenched before he turned toward his brother. Yoojin and the other two stared in puzzlement, and Han Yoohyun made up an excuse about his powers spiking.

Yoojin glanced at Sung Hyunjae as if asking if that was true. His only response was a smile.

A smile with the smugness and arrogance of a man who knew something neither of the Han brothers did. He knew Yoojin loved him. Yoojin might not be aware of it himself or he was trying to fight it, but Sung Hyunjae had captured his evasive little guide, body and heart.

Just two weeks ago, Yoojin would have pulled away if Sung Hyunjae had tried to touch him. Now, Sung Hyunjae had to restrain himself from fucking Yoojin on every piece of furniture he owned.

Sung Hyunjae smiled, thinking about yesterday and remembering how happy Yoojin was over their sync rate. The score had even surprised Sung Hyunjae.

An eighty-seven was unheard of for an S-rank. Sung Hyunjae had expected it to be high, but not over fifty. He had his informants at the Association delete the results, so no one there would become interested in Yoojin.

Sung Hyunjae had been exploring guide books, but couldn't explain Yoojin's abilities. Even the Head Guide at Jupiter, who was once an instructor at the Association, was ineffectual.

Yoojin admitted he couldn't perform a guiding bust or control his negative guiding. He seemed to think the information would scare Sung Hyunjae off. Sung Hyunjae remembered what Yoojin had done to the two espers, but it didn't matter to him. He had done much worse in his life, and if Yoojin hadn't killed those espers before he arrived…

Yoojin would have been terrified of Sung Hyunjae if he saw what he wanted to do to them.

To get Yoojin's story straight for the Association, he had to hear the details of the kidnapping. All of them. Yoojin wanted to skip parts of the story, like he had done with his brother. But Sung Hyunjae had made Yoojin say everything.

Diarma was lucky he was already dead, but Sung Hyunjae had special plans for Choi Sukwon.

Negative guiding had saved Yoojin. Why would he think Sung Hyunjae wouldn't like it? He wanted Yoojin to have a way to protect himself, but Yoojin wanted nothing to do with it.

Sung Hyunjae would let the idea slide for now. It wasn't necessary, anyway. With Diarma gone and Choi Sukwon in hiding, no one could threaten Yoojin.

True Evil Knows no Bounds

An employee from the Association walked through a dingy, two story syndicate building. The gangsters watched him with mocking expressions, and the man from the Association felt sweat accumulate on the back of his neck.

"Umm, I'm here to see the boss. He's-he's expecting to see me," The Association member said.

The gangsters led him into the backroom. The boss was an older man with a bald head and creases around his eyes. He smelt like cigarettes and grinned like a shark.

"Hello!" the boss said, smiling almost sincerely. "What do you have for me this month?"

The Association member walked closer to the desk, looking around at the poor condition of the office and the terrifying looks of the other mobsters.

"M-my boss said he, um, wants double—"

"Double?" the bald man leaned back, still grinning. "That fucking greedy, unawakened asshole thinks these guides are worth that much? Does your boss only think about money?"

The Association member looked down at the contracts he help. "He said it was because of the guide shortage."

The boss laughed. The shark-like toothy grin sent shivers down the Association member's spine. "Come here, kid, I won't bite. Let me see what kind of guides the Association has for me."

He passed the contracts to the boss, and his smile turned down.

"This is it?" the boss said, weighing the stack in his hand. "Is this a joke? This isn't even half the normal amount of guides he gives me."

"With the guide shortage—"

The boss threw the contracts back at the Association member's face. "You tell your boss I want double the amount of guides now! Does he think I'm someone to fuck with?"

The Association member picked the contracts off the floor. "It's-it's just a bad time right now! Officer Song Taewon is investigating now, and the—."

The boss stood and grabbed the Association member by his shirt. "Your boss will be in even more trouble if I reveal what he's been doing to guides. You tell him that."

THe Association member nodded nervously. "Y-Yes! I'll tell him!"

Holding Back

Yoojin was happy after spending so much time with his brother. Song Taewon didn't seem that bad. And the best part, it looked like Yoohyun and Sung Hyunjae had really gotten along!

Back at Jupiter, Yoojin didn't make it out of the car before Sung Hyunjae grabbed him and pulled him into his lap. Yoojin ended up straddling his waist and locked in a deep kiss.

He whimpered when Sung Hyunjae's tongue licked the inside of his mouth, and his fingers balled up in Sung Hyunjae's expensive shirt. Sung Hyunjae's hands settled on Yoojin's waist. The familiar position made Yoojin's blood rush. This was the same way Sung Hyunjae held him during sex, when he needed something to hold on to while he slammed inside him.

There was no question what the high-ranked esper was thinking, but now Yoojin was thinking it too.

Damn it, he had already forgotten to act professionally.

It wasn't like he never had a crush before, but he needed space, otherwise his emotions would overwhelm him. It was so much easier when he was recovering from the deficit and Sung Hyunjae didn't touch him.

He released his grip on Sung Hyunjae's shirt and beat his fist against his chest until he let him go. His voice was breathy. "What's gotten into you?"

"Is this wrong?" Sung Hyunjae asked. "You normally like when I touch you."

"…but we're in a car."

"Yes," Sung Hyunjae said, not seeing the problem.

Yoojin tried to judge Sung Hyunjae's expression to see if he was joking. He sighed and touched Sung Hyunjae's chest, measuring the esper's power levels. There was still a gap, but Yoojin thought he could finish stabilizing Sung Hyunjae by holding his hand or a kiss at most. This would be a great first step into guiding without sex.

"What?" Yoojin asked, noticing Sung Hyunjae's off-put look.

"I kissed you and your first thought goes to guiding."

"Yes…" Yoojin frowned, not understanding the problem.

He wanted to take his role as Sung Hyunjae's guide seriously, but it felt like he was pulling away. "You were near a rampage and had nothing but inhibitors for a week. Are there any pains or problems you haven't told me about? How are you feeling?"

"This." He pulled Yoojin forward while he rolled his hips up. The erection rubbed the length of Yoojin's groin, and he shouted in surprise. "This is how I'm feeling."

He tried to suppress it, but his guiding powers responded. It was getting harder to control himself. He could almost swear that Sung Hyunjae's lust amplified his own. Like his own powers wanted Sung Hyunjae.

Yoojin clutched Sung Hyunjae's shoulders and lifted onto his knees to avoid the compromising position.

He had to swallow to say, "Your stability isn't that severe. I can finish guiding you by holding your hand or… with…"

His words trailed off as Sung Hyunjae's expression continued to darken.

"Don't I get a say in how I'm guided?"

No, because you don't take care of yourself.

Sung Hyunjae never even asked for guiding, so why was he being so picky now?

"My guide treats me so heartlessly. Isn't it important for our relationship to be established mutually? The core of guiding is balance. It can cause a strain on the guide when one partner takes sole responsibility. It's documented that esper and guide couples who share accountability can even show increased sync rate and ease with guiding."

Yoojin almost swore. Those damn guiding books! He should really take them away from Sung Hyunjae. It was weird how much he was looking into this.

Well, two could play at this game. While Sung Hyunjae read those weird books, Yoojin had been studying with the Head Guide of Jupiter. He had read the employee standards between espers and guides.

Rule one: espers weren't allowed to meet with guides outside of guiding hours or designated areas.

Rule Two: espers weren't allowed to lead guiding sessions. No forced guiding and no request for more intimate guiding than what the guide suggests.

"If you want to be technical, by your own organization's rules, you're not allowed to determine your own method of guiding. So, shouldn't you trust your perfect guide?"

"Luck for me, I'm the boss. I pity the person who would try to stop me." To prove his point, he kissed Yoojin's neck, grazing the sensitive junction between his throat and jaw.

Yoojin's eyes fluttered.

"You're referring to the Jupiter employee relationship standards, but did you forget rule three?" Sung Hyunjae asked. "An esper may only engage in an intimate relationship with a guide if circumstances exceed the immediate safety of the esper, or they have an established relationship, have a dedicated contract, or are bound."

Sung Hyunjae pulled Yoojin back into his lap. "Haven't we already said we were lovers? If anything, you should be guiding me less and giving me your body more."

Yoojin could feel his cheeks warm, and he had to look away from those devilish gold eyes. This man… sometimes he infuriated Yoojin. "I swear, there are only perverted thoughts in your head."

"I think I'm holding back very well for my shy guide. Haven't I been good?" Sung Hyunjae said like he wanted praise.

Yoojin laughed, "Holding back? Tell me you're joking." Sung Hyunjae's stamina was never ending, and he always came up with perverted fantasies. Not to mention the time they used toys or chains. How could Sung Hyunjae say he was holding back with a straight face?

"I'm always serious when it comes to my perfect guide."

Yoojin shook his head, not believing him. "Fine. If it will settle this matter, tell me what you've been thinking. What you've been holding back."

Sung Hyunjae blinked. Like he never expected Yoojin to ask. He leaned against the seat and gazed up at the ceiling. Yoojin prepared what he would say once Sung Hyunjae admitted he hadn't been holding back. Ready to call him out.

"As of late, I have been imagining tying you up. Not like last time with the chains, but strapping you down to the bed. Your arms stretched over your head and your legs pulled apart."

Sung Hyunjae reached up and brushed a strand of Yoojin's hair out of his face. When he was done, his hand returned to the spot on his waist.

"Then I want to apply clamps to your nipples. Just a bit of pain to make you gaze at me with those vicious eyes. Then I will secure a vibrating sleeve over your cock, as well as a vibrator inside you. Something just large enough to stretch you and reach all the sweet spots you like having touched."

Sung Hyunjae's hands slid under his shirt. Yoojin liked how his fingers felt on his bare skin, but not how his guiding powers rose involuntarily. He shoved the powers down and pushed the hands away.

"It's a little difficult to come from vibrators for the first time, so it'll be hard for you to reach the edge. Especially because I'll keep them set low. The whole time I'll lie next to you, reassuring you about how much fun we'll have together. I'll drag it out as long as possible and watch your vicious eyes daze over until all you can think about is coming."

Sung Hyunjae moved closer with each word. Yoojin held his breath, thinking he was about to be kissed, but Sung Hyunjae left a tantalizing bit of space between them.

"You'll become greedy for relief under the low, teasing pressure, but there is nothing you can do while tied up except struggle. You like it hard, so how will you handle the low vibration's constant tease? My perfect guide is so cute when he's desperate with need."

Sung Hyunjae lowered his head to Yoojin's neck. The warm breath rose goosebumps across his body and made him shudder. Sung Hyunjae's voice was so much deeper as he whispered in his ear.

"After you finally reach the point you've been dying for, I'll turn up the vibrations. You become so sensitive after you come. The increased sensation will be that much more unraveling, especially when you have no time to recover."

Those soft lips trailed the edged of Yoojin's jaw. His eyes nearly closed, and his hands gripped Sung Hyunjae's shoulders. Sung Hyunjae kissed the smooth column of his throat and caused a soft moan from Yoojin.

"When you beg me to stop, I'll turn it up higher. I want to know what you'll say when you're drowning in one-sided gratification. I want to hear your pleads turn mindless and your screams grow hoarse as I force you to come over and over. Do you think I'll stop after two, three, or even four times?"

Sung Hyunjae's grip on his hips tightened, and Yoojin bit his lips to avoid making another sound. The S-rank esper's hold was a lingering threat in Yoojin's mind that this man had him trapped in his car with no one else around. And Sung Hyunjae could do all those things to him without restraints or toys.

"I'll make you scream out that you're my fated guide before I stop, and you'll know exactly who you belong to. I'll drive you to the brink of madness and then reward you with the gentle kisses you like so much. I'll praise you for doing so well, but I'll never let you forget you are my guide."

Sung Hyunjae pulled back and smiled sweetly at Yoojin like he had just been commenting on the weather.

Yoojin blinked at him. His body was slowly re-learning how to move again, and his mind was processing what he just heard. This felt like something he would be processing for a while. Sung Hyunjae had said that with a straight face. Was he serious? Was he really holding back this whole time?

Yoojin patted his shoulder a few times before he opened the car door. He stepped out and closed the door behind him, leaving Sung Hyunjae behind, and headed inside.

It felt like he had just watched his first dirty movie and seen the act of sex for the first time. Now his mind couldn't stop thinking about it and his heart was still pounding.

Yoojin heard the car door open and next thing he knew, his feet were off the ground. The esper's arms wrapped around him, and he rested his chin on Yoojin's shoulder.

"Hey! Be careful!" Yoojin couldn't pull away or run.

"Got you. Were you trying to escape?"

Yoojin protested, but his words quickly died after Sung Hyunjae kissed him. His guiding powers burst between them, unable to be held down anymore, and Sung Hyunjae was all he could think of.

They found an empty room in the middle of Jupiter because he couldn't wait. He was a little nervous after hearing Sung Hyunjae's fantasy, but the esper held back for him.

Yoojin screamed into Sung Hyunjae's hand. He knew the walls weren't sound proof like in the penthouse, but Yoojin couldn't hold in his voice.

Sung Hyunjae's other hand gripped Yoojin's waist in a familiar way, and Yoojin covered it with his own. He forced Sung Hyunjae to hold him tighter, to thrust harder, to use him more roughly.

Yoojin shouted again. The esper teased him for trying to get caught, but his own voice had grown hoarse and tight. Knowing Sung Hyunjae was so close pushed Yoojin over the edge.

His nails clawed Sung Hyunjae's arm, and his heels dug into his back. Sung Hyunjae tensed. His movements became more frantic as he groaned Yoojin's name and followed after him.

At the height of his climax, Yoojin felt that strange sensation of Sung Hyunjae's insight. He could barely put the feelings into words, but he felt the warmth and devotion from Sung Hyunjae. The extra touch felt so good, prolonging his orgasm, swarming his heart, and making his legs quiver.

After the rippling effects had subsided, Yoojin couldn't move, but he still had memories of it. But like a dream, his understanding of it quickly faded into a jumble of feelings he couldn't name. What was that? Was this normal?

Unable to voice any concerns to Sung Hyunjae, Yoojin tried to push it out of his mind. Had he imagined that?

Sung Hyunjae bathed his face in kisses, and Yoojin enjoyed the cool lips on his heated skin. Yoojin would try guiding without sex next time.

Sung Hyunjae dressed Yoojin, getting him back into his clothes and tying his shoes. He even brushed Yoojin's hair into a presentable manner.

By the time Sung Hyunjae was done with his detailed care, Yoojin could walk again. If Sung Hyunjae helped.

Yoojin stood and staggered, Sung Hyunjae keeping him upright.

Yoojin played it off as his legs being shaky but the back of his head ached. After stabilizing his brother and Sung Hyunjae within two days, he had used more energy than he realized.

He had to remind himself to be more careful in the future. If he fell into another deficit, he didn't want to think how protective he would be treated.

They ran into Kang Soyoung, who had been looking for them since she heard the car arrived. Yoojin was holding onto Sung Hyunjae and falling asleep on his feet, but the concern in Kang Soyoung's voice jarred him awake.

Sung Hyunjae dismissed her worries by explaining Yoojin had tried guiding him too quickly and wore himself out. Replenishing a nearly deprived S-rank was a hard job for a single guide. Yoojin grimaced. It was too close to the truth. And it wasn't like Yoojin could correct him by telling Kang Soyoung that her boss had just wrecked him in a conference room.

Kang Soyoung panicked and asked if she could get anything for Yoojin. To which Yoojin and Sung Hyunjae both said no. After that, they didn't run into anyone else. In the penthouse, Sung Hyunjae undressed Yoojin and helped him wash up. The only thing more embarrassing than knowing Sung Hyunjae cleaned Yoojin up after he passed out was experiencing it while awake.

After that, Sung Hyunjae brought Yoojin to the bed where they could lie together. The esper insisted on applying an ointment, telling him it was strenuous for a guide's body to do it as many times in two days as they had.

Yoojin disliked the cold medicine and the embarrassment that followed. Sung Hyunjae gave him some water, and Yoojin had little strength left. After that they lied together and talked. Sung Hyunjae tried to convince Yoojin to eat something, but seemed to realize Yoojin was on the losing side of staying awake.

Yoojin asked if Sung Hyunjae felt stabilized now. He answered by kissing his temple. "My guide takes such good care of me."

"Hmm… 's not what I asked…"

"You handled the Association very well."

"… they don't suspect anything?"

"Do you think I would leave any evidence behind? If that was the case, I would have demolished the Association before they talked to you." Another kiss. "So be careful how close you stand next to Song Taewon from now on. I'm more than willing to destroy that building for an esper getting too close to you."

This guy… Even half-asleep, Yoojin still thought Sung Hyunjae was being unreasonable. "Don't talk nonsense."

After that, he was out. He had a strange dream about sitting next to the ocean on a sunny day. It was peaceful. When Sung Hyunjae woke him, he felt like he hadn't slept at all. Let alone ten hours.

"Yoojin-ssi, wake up. Don't you want to greet the young miss? Today's her first day."

"Hmm?" Yoojin said from a groggy haze. "Huh? Yerim's here?"
