Chapter 27 - Chapter 027: The Most Beautiful Pirate – Boa Hancock Appears!

After Doflamingo left, the people around couldn't hold it in anymore.

They erupted in thunderous cheers.

"What Warlord of the Sea? In the end, he still had to retreat with his tail between his legs! Wahahaha…"

Burgess was overjoyed, laughing heartily.

Doc Q chuckled strangely, "Too bad we didn't get to see that so-called ultimate move. What a pity."

Lafitte adjusted his top hat and said politely,

"Seems like Doflamingo understood our captain's strength. If he'd continued attacking, he would've been slaughtered for sure."

"After all, his strength is still far below the captain's."

Law looked up at the sky, and after confirming Doflamingo had vanished, the cold expression on his face was replaced with complex emotions.

"He really won. Doflamingo actually wasn't his match."

In that moment, the shock in Law's heart was indescribable.

The Sweetheart Queen gave him a sideways glance and teased,

"What? Surprised?"

"So, Doflamingo ran off. Are you disappointed? Still think he could've won?"

Baccarat gently patted her shoulder and chided her,

"Don't say it like that—we're all part of the same crew now."

"Law doesn't know much about Chris yet, so it's normal to have doubts."

Betty nodded in agreement.

"But after this battle, he'll clearly understand Chris's strength. I doubt he'll question it again."

At that moment, a voice came from ahead.

"Let's go."

Chris said as he started walking toward the edge of the island.

The rest of the crew didn't hesitate and quickly followed.

Law, of course, followed too.

He was already a member of the Chris Pirates.

Before long, everyone had boarded the Chris, and they set sail once more.

"Lafitte, explain the situation to Law."

Chris, never interested in these matters, gave the order and headed straight for the training room.

Baccarat smiled and said to the other women,

"Let's hang out in the training room too."

Soon, the beautiful women left as well.

"Bepo, come! Let's go fishing!"

Paddon skipped over with a fishing rod. "Fishing is so much fun! Hurry up, hehe!"

Since they were all animals, Bepo didn't feel shy and quickly followed.

"Paddon, I don't know how to fish, so you'll have to teach me."

At that moment, Law noticed a few words written on the mast and asked indifferently,

"What do these ship rules mean?"

Lafitte stood his cane upright and replied politely.

"First of all, Law, welcome to the Chris Pirates."

"I am the first mate, Lafitte."

"Let me explain a few things about the ship."

Lafitte smiled faintly,

"On this ship, strength determines everything. There are three types of duels:"

"The Captain's Challenge, the First Mate's Challenge, and the Squad Leader's Challenge."

"You don't need to think about the first one. The Captain's position is unshakable."

"I'm the current first mate. If you wish to challenge me, I'll be ready at any time."

Lafitte tipped his hat like a gentleman.

"As for the Squad Leader's Challenge, that's between you and Burgess."

Burgess looked at Law and laughed,

"What do you say? Wanna throw down? I'd like to settle the squad leader rank soon."

Doc Q coughed and said,

"I love watching the challenge matches the most…"

"Three types of challenges, huh?"

Law slung his cursed blade Kikoku over his shoulder and said coldly,

"This ship suits me well."

"No rules, no restrictions—everything is decided by strength."

"But I'm not interested in fighting for position right now. Maybe in a few days."

Burgess grumbled,

"Tch, thought you were a brawler. Didn't expect you to be all bark, no bite."

Lafitte turned to Law and politely continued,

"Now let me explain our journey ahead, including our objectives."

Inside the Training Room

Snap.

Chris stood by the window, lit a cigarette, and silently gazed at the blue sky and white clouds outside.

Seeing him so unusually quiet, the women exchanged glances with puzzled expressions and whispered among themselves.

"What's wrong with Chris? Why isn't he training?"

Sweetheart Queen asked, puzzled by the strange behavior.

Betty exhaled a puff of smoke and said flatly,

"Probably something to do with Doflamingo. Maybe the Warlord alliance stuff."

Baccarat nodded, brushing her long hair and speaking gently,

"Plans can't keep up with changes. No one expected we'd run into such a major figure."

"Chris is probably thinking through a new plan. We better not disturb him."

Silence soon filled the training room.

These women were sharp—they didn't want to interfere with Chris's thoughts.

After an unknown amount of time, Chris flicked the cigarette out the window and suddenly spoke.

"I'm heading out. I'll be back in two days."

As soon as the words left his mouth, he vanished on the spot.

The beautiful women were stunned, wanting to ask something, but they didn't get the chance.

"Our captain is really decisive. Doesn't say a word more than necessary, no explanation at all."

Sweetheart Queen shook her head and smiled wryly.

Betty took another drag and said calmly,

"That's just how Chris is. You get used to it."

Perona floated around with a pout,

"That's why this princess doesn't like hanging out with him—it's boring!"

Baccarat listened to them, smiled softly, and didn't say anything more.

Her beautiful eyes looked out the window as she thought silently:

"Judging from the situation, he's probably going to contact the other Warlords. That's the only explanation."

And she was right.

Chris was headed toward the Calm Belt…

To find the most beautiful pirate in the world—

Boa Hancock!
