Chapter 28 - Chapter 028: Hancock, You're Truly Disgusting!

Calm Belt, Amazon Lily.

Dong dong dong...

A series of crisp bell chimes echoed across the island.

"Lady Boa is going to bathe!"

From inside the palace came the loud announcement.

Immediately, everyone in the city—whether fighting, eating, or chatting—stopped what they were doing and quickly cleared out. No one was allowed to stay in the city during this time.

Around the bathing area, warning lines were set up. Many female warriors stood or sat, guarding the perimeter strictly and not allowing anyone to enter.

Shhh!

The curtain was drawn open.

"I'll leave the guarding to you."

Hancock looked ahead, her voice cold and detached as she issued the command.

"Yes, elder sister."

Sandersonia and Marigold answered respectfully.

Hancock didn't say much more. With a proud and elegant stride, she walked slowly toward the bath.

No one knew how much time passed when suddenly a voice rang out.

"Sorry to disturb, Boa Hancock!"

"Please give me a moment. Let's talk about the Celestial Dragons."

As the words landed, a figure flickered—Chris appeared by the edge of the bath.

Arms crossed in front of him, face calm, he looked at Hancock with unwavering, composed eyes.

Shock.

Extreme shock.

A man's voice??

Hancock didn't have time to think. She quickly crouched down into the water, shielding her body with her arms as she turned toward the sound.

What she saw was a young man dressed in black, about 185cm tall, with an incredibly handsome face.

"Who are you?"

Hancock's beautiful eyes glinted with cold light. Her face showed killing intent, and her voice was icy.

This man had seen the mark on her back. He absolutely could not be allowed to live.

He must die!!

"Allow me to introduce myself. I'm Chris, captain of the Chris Pirates."

Looking at Hancock's flawless skin, Chris said calmly, "Soon, I'll become one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea."

"The reason I came to find you is simple—it's about the upcoming Warlord alliance."

But Hancock wasn't listening to his words at all. What puzzled her was—

Why hadn't her two sisters come in??

If they didn't come, how could she stand up?

"Sandersonia! Marigold!!"

Hancock, still hugging herself, turned and shouted toward the entrance.

Her tone was full of fury!

"Sorry, Boa Hancock."

Chris remained calm and composed. "I've repelled all surrounding sound."

"So no one outside can hear what's happening in here. That's the reason."

Repel sound??

Such an ability existed?

Hancock was once again stunned, realizing that waiting longer would be useless—her sisters wouldn't come in.

Since this man had already seen her, it didn't matter anymore.

Whoosh!

She quickly stood and leapt to the edge of the bath, throwing on a robe.

"Damn man, how did you even get in here?"

Hancock's face was frosty, her tone full of killing intent.

She had never been so humiliated. Not only was her slave mark exposed, but her body had been seen too.

At this moment, her inner fury—

Could practically burn the whole world!!

"How I got here isn't important."

Chris spoke indifferently, "Let's talk about the Celestial Dragons."

"You were once a slave to the Celestial Dragons. You must hate them deeply."

"Which means, we can work closely together."

Chris looked at Hancock seriously and said, "My goal is to pull the Celestial Dragons down from their pedestal and kill them all."

Shock.

This time, Hancock was truly shocked to the core.

"You…"

"They're the creators… how dare you... how dare you say that about them!!"

At the mention of the Celestial Dragons, Hancock's face turned pale. Her eyes were full of fear—she was truly terrified.

Clearly, the trauma from her past had a huge impact on her.

She completely crumbled at the very mention of them.

"What's there to be afraid of?"

Chris looked at her with disdain. "As expected, the moment someone mentions the Celestial Dragons, you collapse—almost like a breakdown."

"On the surface, you appear arrogant and cold, the perfect facade."

"But inside? You're riddled with wounds, fragile and weak."

"The saying goes: pitiful people often have something detestable about them. That's exactly you."

In his past life, when Chris watched One Piece, he especially disliked Hancock's character.

After being hurt by the Celestial Dragons, she buried her heart deeply.

In front of others, she acted proud and domineering.

Her personality became extremely unpleasant.

So, Chris had no fondness for this so-called most beautiful woman in One Piece.

Otherwise, earlier, he could've just tossed her a robe—no need to make her stand up.

His real purpose was to make her feel humiliated!
