Chapter 2 - :Taboo Library II

After the system explained the library Xuan was in, he still didn't believe what the female voice was telling him. But as he walked around with his stick, picking different books—

No matter how many books Xuan picked to check out, all were about techniques that involved sex, and they even had drawing illustrations of the technique.

"Heaven's Taboo: 50 Naked Sword Art Technique? Gives 0 to 10 meridian yin? Is this thing for real?"

For example, the one he was now reading—a taboo doggy technique of a naked woman with her legs wide open for a man ready to thrust in the sword.

But the reward of using this technique was outstanding, gaining 0 to 10 meridian yin. This technique could have chances of making him walk again.

"This is outstanding." Xuan was impressed. He kept flipping the book, pages after pages.

Normally, dual cultivation gives 2 to 5 for meridian yins in cultivation. The stronger the male's yin, the more a woman's body can be nourished, and the more yin the meridian womb absorbs, the quicker a male gets stronger.

It was like squeezing poison from a man's body, but the poison makes them nourished, renewed, and strong. But they do run out of yins, of course.

"If I can find someone to do this with! My chances of cultivating are becoming fat!" Xuan cheered himself, tears of joy in his eyes as he hugged the book.

40 released yins was certainly enough to repair his broken meridian, if not more than enough. But he needed to gain the yins before releasing them.

In dual cultivation, after a breakthrough, one could feel the changes in their body. But if not certain, a cultivator's orb was used to check one's strength.

Those above 9.9 were considered geniuses and had broken through the first stage of cultivation—the meridian stage, which Xuan was stuck in for years.

Xuan was excited knowing he had chances of walking and cultivating, but then his eyes fell on the notice below the image illustration.

"Warning: The male's body must be fully functional for this technique, as he'll need to do the most work."

Xuan was shattered, clenched his teeth, and closed the book in madness. As he said the word "return," the book disappeared from his hand and reappeared at an empty slot of a shelf.

"System, isn't there any book that has a technique to cure my meridian yin and also no requirements needed?" asked Xuan. He was looking around the vast dimension as if finding who he was speaking with.

The system made matters worse by informing Xuan all the techniques in the taboo library had no requirements—which enlightened Xuan—until the system finished: except the man must be fully fit.

"Why didn't the gods have a book like that one? This is shit." Although he was already informed, Xuan didn't give up. He was still searching for a technique with no requirements.

"The gods banned such books after a Chen Lu broke into the Heaven's Library and stole a book with the technique to heal his crippled son, Feng Chen."

The voice said in his head or out loud. After he processed what the system had said, Xuan paused for a moment and thought of something.

"My name is Xuan Chen, son of the old cripple Feng Chen, and grandson to the founder of dual cultivation, Chen Lu—wait..."

"What?!" Xuan yelled.

The system clarified that if Xuan was who he said he was, then his grandfather was responsible for such technique getting banned, and probably, his father's cripple curse landed on him.

Xuan felt terribly weak. He had searched almost all books, and he was beginning to lose hope of ever finding any.

But the book he now held rose his hopes very high again. He turned to look at the technique, written bold and clear with golden ink:

"Taboo Cube Transmigration Technique"

The technique was a cultivation technique but rather what a cultivator can use to arrive at another world. But what gave him hope was: at another world with a renewed body.

The technique says only the person's yins can follow the cultivator through both worlds. If his breakthrough was at 9.9 in this world, it wouldn't matter in the other.

If he was lame in this world, it wouldn't matter as well. Even a cripple could start afresh.

"Ye... yesss, this is the one." Xuan sniffed, hugging the book tight. He finally found a place where he wouldn't be crippled.

And it made sense very well. If his yin is the only thing that counts in both worlds, if he could gather enough yin in that world, then when coming to this world, the yin could repair his meridian.

"If I could cultivate enough yin at this other world—if I bring it here—it would be enough to reset my meridian. Then I can start cultivating in both worlds equally. This is amazing."

Xuan kept flipping the page after reading a lot of the book. He was looking for the procedure. He was so happy reading this book that he hadn't kept track—it was midnight outside.

Then he read how to use the technique. His eyes landed on the purple cube at the table. All he needed to do was hold it and say the words.

"If this actually works, Li Zhi would be the first I teach a lesson," said Xuan. He picked the cube and looked at the enchantations with a doubtful look.

All he needed to say was "switch" to enter the world and "return" to get back to his world—but with the cube in his hands every time.

"Why does this feel like a joke?"

But regardless of it, Xuan was willing to sound stupid if it meant his chances of walking were on the line, so he sighed and said the word.

But nothing happened. He said it again for like five more times, and nothing still happened. Clenching his teeth in regret and heartbreak, he now wondered if any books in here were actually true.

"How did I even think to believe—"

Voom'

Xuan was no longer in the dimensional library of taboo techniques. Only his stick and the book were lying on the space-like ground.
