Chapter 2 - Chapter 2

Valley of the Living Rock

A blue and white mist suddenly rushed toward Arendelle at an alarming speed that no one could react to in time.

"It seems today won't be calm."

Grand Pabbie, who had been resting, opened his wise eyes, then closed them again, furrowing his brow.

"Why can't I see the future anymore?"

"Quick, boys! We have work to do!"

"Bang!"

"Bang!"

"Bang!"

As soon as the words finished, all the surrounding stones gathered together and then extended their arms and legs.

"Hey! Is there something fun going on? I'm going! I'm going!"

"How could it be something fun? It's so late, we're probably just going for a late-night snack, hehe."

"What's wrong with you guys? We're definitely going out to defeat the bad guys, haha! I'm going to be a hero, and the king will reward me!"

The three lively and energetic trolls immediately jumped up.

"You three little ones, quiet down for a moment. This time, I'm going to choose… hmm?"

Grand Pabbie suddenly furrowed his brow and closed his eyes.

As soon as they saw Grand Pabbie start to predict, the trolls all fell silent, even the three little ones.

They all knew not to disturb him when he was like this.

"I'll send you three little ones. Karon, Hal, Sosi, are you three willing?"

(PS: Karon is the one who wants to have fun, Hal wants to go eat, and Sosi wants to be a hero.)

"Alright, alright! But what are we going to do?"

The three little ones agreed without even thinking.

"This..."

A troll stepped forward, trying to stop them.

"It's fine, there won't be any danger."

Grand Pabbie's words gently entered his ears, and the troll retreated back.

"You just need to go a few miles away and bring back a child and his things. But you need to hurry, not play around on the way, and make sure to stay safe."

"Okay, Grand Pabbie!"

"Kids, hurry up and get going!"

Grand Pabbie said kindly, looking at the little ones.

"Wow! The adventure begins!"

Karon excitedly turned into a stone, rolling and shouting as he went.

"Wait for me! I'm going to be the hero who saves that child!"

Sosi saw this and quickly turned into a stone and followed.

"Don't go so fast! I'll bring some food, hey, wait for me!"

Finally, Hal grabbed some dried moss and hurried after them.

Grand Pabbie watched them leave from behind, and the other trolls around him were puzzled.

"Go ahead and ask if you have any questions."

Grand Pabbie said, sensing the gaze behind him.

One of the trolls, unable to understand why she was doing this, stepped forward and asked, "Why are you giving the task to a few children?"

"Yeah, why!"

The other trolls also looked puzzled.

Grand Pabbie turned around and said, "It's because it's their destiny. They have a significant connection with that child. I can no longer see their future, but I can feel that the future of the trolls might depend on these three little ones."

"This..."

The trolls were all shocked, and they all fell silent.

"Alright, go back and rest. I hope those little ones will bring us some surprises in the future."

...

A few miles away, in a small cabin on the edge of the forest.

"Child, your mother can't hold on much longer. You have to live and be strong."

A woman whispered as she held her newborn baby. However, the boy in her arms didn't understand what was happening and just smiled innocently.

"Son, you must survive! I'll lead them away right now."

The woman placed the child in the grass and ran off.

"Quick, she's over there! We can't let her escape!"

Suddenly, a soldier shouted.

Then came the cavalry chasing after her, and in the end, the woman was caught.

"Sister-in-law, don't think about asking for help from Arendelle. What do you expect that new king to do? Hahaha."

The soldier, leading a man who seemed to be their leader, stepped forward.

"Don't call me 'sister-in-law.' You killed your own brother, and heaven won't let you get away with it!"

The woman shouted angrily, glaring at him coldly.

"It doesn't matter. You won't be able to see what happens to me after this, but you can tell me, where did you hide my dear nephew, the son of my older brother?"

"Asger! You're already the King of Southern Isles, and you still want to kill your own nephew?"

"Yes, otherwise, this will always be a hidden threat."

Asger smirked sinisterly.

Then, one of the soldiers behind him came up and whispered something in his ear.

"Oh! How unfortunate, I've found him. Sister-in-law, why don't you meet him?"

He then took the baby wrapped up in cloth.

"No, you can't do this!"

The woman collapses in despair.

"Someone, kill her."

Asger turned around and gave the order coldly.

"Thud~"

"Please, spare my child! After all, he's still your nephew."

The woman begged as she fell down.

Asger ignored her and gently stroked the boy's face, "Come on! Little guy, you're about to meet your mom and dad!"

Then, he was about to throw the baby hard onto a stone.

"Bang~"

"What's going on?"

Asger quickly stepped back, startled.

"Haha, I told you I'd be a hero! I saved this child!"

Sosi said happily, holding the child.

"It's all your fault, Hal! If it weren't for you stopping for food, how could we have arrived so late?"

Karon scolded Hal from behind.

"But you ate too..."

Hal said, feeling guilty.

"What are these strange monsters? Soldiers, attack! Protect your king!"

Asger said with fear in his eyes as he watched the unbelievable scene, immediately giving the command.

"Alright, run quickly! We need to protect this child!"

Karon seemed to be the leader of the small team and quickly gave the order to retreat.

'Ding! The system detected that the host's life was in danger and was loading the host's consciousness...'

'Loading...'

'Loading complete...'

'What's that sound? Where am I?'

Charles desperately tried to open his eyes.

When he finally opened them, he saw everything around him changing really fast.

'Am I... being carried away by a stone? I must be going crazy!'

"No, host, you're not crazy. You've simply arrived in the world of Frozen, and now the trolls are helping you escape."

A voice suddenly echoed in his mind.

"Who are you?"
