The attacks kept coming, and Ivan had to cast more sword projections to protect himself, but he couldn't stop himself from descending. Black Riot didn't descend; it closely followed Ivan in his descending trajectory.
An opportunity came; there was a delay in subsequent attacks. Ivan quickly willed Black Riot to lift him high up into the sky. Ivan flew away from his attackers' sight.
CLANG! The carrier craft's pilots felt the hull of the aircraft receive a heavy blow, but the aircraft remained airborne.
Ivan had broken into the Carrier craft's cabin. The Unds troops were all seated, waiting for battle and caressing their sophisticated rifles.
One thousand sword lights!
Before any of the Unds infantry could react, sword lights pounced on them and tore them to shreds. The pilots wanted to survey the situation in the cabin, but before they could, one of them yelled, their head exploded, and blood splattered the pit. The other was terrified and confused, but he could not do anything more. Their skull shattered into bloody fragments.
BOOM! The carrier craft was blown up.

There was another carrier craft coming. Ivan had spotted the aircraft, but the aircraft pilots didn't see him, or so it seemed. He dashed to the aircraft and broke into its cabin. He was greeted by another group of Unds troopers waiting for battle. He cast one thousand sword lights and ended the troopers.

But his effort didn't end all the Unds' troopers. Three Unds were still seated, unharmed. Ivan took some steps closer to inspect if he was seeing an illusion. The unscathed Unds turned their faces to reveal an unsettling smile.
One of them pulled an exaggerated mini-gun and opened fire on Ivan. Ivan turned his back against his attacker while he cast a sword projection that defended him from the line of the assault. His instincts warned him to move away from the spot he was standing on. Ivan didn't hesitate to dive to his right while maintaining the sword projection.
A heavy axe cleaved down on the spot where he was standing. The Und with the mini-gun didn't stop shooting. Ivan glanced at the object that he had avoided and saw the blade of a heavy axe rooted in the floor of the aircraft. He also caught sight of the axe's blade gaining brightness and luminosity.
Attack from overhead! Ivan's instincts warned, and he raised his left forearm above his head, casting a second sword projection overhead. Immediately a beam of 'sunlight' crashed down on the overhead projection. Ivan saw that the 'sunlight' was a projection of the heavy axe he just dodged a few moments ago.
The Und with the mini-gun stepped back, and another Und stepped forward. This Und wore on their upper right wrist a bracelet that had an elevated small square lens; it was a particle beam canon.
BUZZ! The particle beam shattered the sword projection, blasting Ivan out of the ship.
The Und with a mini gun said to the Und with the particle beam weapon, "Is he dead?"
The Und with the particle beam weapon replied, "The human is at most D-rank. It wouldn't survive my attack."
Cough. The words of the Und with the particle beam weapon seemed not to fully escape their mouth. Blood gushed out of their mouth. Their interactor's eye dilated upon seeing the reason for the blood gush; there was a black sword blade protruding from the neck.
Volcanic Sword Stab!
The integrity of the cabin was shattered by a violent explosion. A second explosion followed, and the carrier was blown to pieces.
Ivan had gotten the inspiration to launch a surprise attack on the special Unds after he discovered that they were special characters. Volcanic Sword Stab could still work when thrown with two hands on the hilt. As long as the sword did not roll and maintained a straight trajectory, Volcanic Sword Stab would be initiated.
Ivan continuously somersaulted as he fell towards the ground.

To Ivan's perception, everything seemed to slow down. He didn't feel that he was falling too fast like moments before. He took his time to read the information on the information window that popped up in his vision.
'Flying Sword', Ivan willed Black Riot to give him a lift.
He flew on his sword and surveyed the area where he lived; there were no threats. He flew away to a neighbouring area to know if they needed help in vanquishing aliens. There was a lot of hate and anger in his heart, and it needed to be quelled before he may release it on someone undeserving of it.
The area where Ivan lived was designated as Section 2.5; it was a big city. He was headed to Section 2.6, another big city. As he arrived, he saw a carrier craft descending on a street. The aircraft descended upon a building, crushing it as it made its landing. The brutal sight made Ivan so furious.
Fortunately for Ivan, the river that Merlin_13 liberated was still flowing, and it flowed through Section 2.6. The river was the source of Ivan's power at the moment. If not for it, Ivan was not even up to an F-rank character, which was the least power level for a special character.
"Burn in hell!" Ivan unleashed a special skill, Ballistic Sword Light.
This attack skill could push away any solid object away from one spot, taking it to a farther spot where it will explode. At the moment, the attack forced the carrier craft away to the sky and detonated it up there.
