Chapter 1 - The Beginning

27 Chetra 3000 PRAYAG

Prayag, a beautiful city situated on the bank of holy river Ganga, is revered by the whole country. Every 12 years, when the biggest planet of this solar system, Brihas, completes one revolution in its orbit and enters the Aqua constellation's first degree, a mega fair is organized, named AQUAS. It is considered that during this time the energy here is higher and helps people increase their power, thus it is considered auspicious. People from all over the world ,too, come here to take a holy dip. This year is the same. The city is lively and people can be seen everywhere. During the bathing sessions not even a mustard seed will reach the ground if dropped on the banks of the Ganga due to the number of people present there.

Aside from this, whole fair is filled with accommodative tents, parking lounges, shops of every category and every size. There are shops for children, for religious people, shops and keepers to introduce people to different cultures and different cults . Drones can be seen up in the sky, doing announcement about different events and missing people. Some bigger and extravagant shops and merchants also use drone technology to advertise themselves. These drones are also used for surveillance by administrative forces.

The administrative department has divided the whole fair area into three zones to maintain peace and prevent any mishaps. The Eastern zone for people who will stay here for at least half a month. The Western zone for people who come to take a single dip or for some rituals and ceremonies. While the Central Zone or the Banks are only for bathing . The river runs from North to South and has staircases on each side giving enough space for people.

In Western zone, there are accommodations provided by the Ruler and then there are private residences provided by different cults and merchants as a donation. The main road comes through this zone then goes through the Central Zone linking both the banks with a bridge. A green coloured bus is moving on the road which is levitating above ground. A boy is sitting on the window seat in front row. Black shiny shoulder long hair, dark black eyes, thin straight nose, lips neither thin nor thick. He is wearing a white Dhotee, an unsewn single sheet of cloth, and draping another on his upper body. His skin is more towards white than black and he is wearing a serious expression on his face.

" There really are too many people here. Father did say that there will be more than 3 billion people visiting this city over the span of thirty days." He thought. " If the world is really this big then I must travel across it one day".

" People wear so many kind of dresses. And those people are from some far land it seems." He thought after seeing long black people from Kusha Dweep wearing different coloured and textured drapes. He also saw the white people with light coloured hair and eyes from Yavan Dweep.

The bus stopped in campus of a big red Building. A swastika was made on the ground with red colours. Monks were there to greet the incoming people. One could see there were many female monks too.

" Shambhu, what are you thinking son? We reached the Mutt we were going to go" a stern but caring voice called the boy. He got up from the seat and jumped out through the window. A brown man of slightly above average height & bulky frame and a fair skinnned woman of average stature and a beautiful face were standing with a boy who looked same as Shambhu but with brown hair and black eyes. Both of them had black hair and brown eyes.

" I was thinking about something, Father" said Shambhu.

"Were you thinking about the ceremonies?" asked the man.

" No,father. I was thinking about this mutt having women too. You told me that a monk's abode should not contain a women. But this seems different" Shambhu replied with surprise and disbelief all over his face.

" Listen, son, . This is the reason why I decided to bring you here. Whatever I have taught you is the knowledge passed down from generation to generation in our family. This year you will turn 15 and then you can go out in to world to do what you want or you can stay with us too if you want " Satya said. " But the world is different from what it should be. What I taught you is to help you in taking any decision in any moment in life. It is to guide you in this confused world. And it should be your moral compass. That's what DHARMA is supposed to be. And it was time you came to know that DHARMA has become a thing which is only talked not practices now a days."

" So what about who don't follow it ? "

" Every person reaps what he sow. We can't make everything right. But we must do everything in our power to make things right. We don't let our lives change because someone else does something bad. We follow the path of righteousness and uphold Dharma.

Satya spoke after a break with serious expression ," Son I would have done your and your younger brother's ceremonies at home. But this was an auspicious occasion so I brought you here. I will give you one last lesson after the ceremony. That will be the most important lesson."

While they were having this conversation they have already moved inside the building . They entered a hall long enough to accomodate 500 hundred people. A big fat man wearing saffron colored drapes was sitting on a couch. The fat man stood up and welcomed them .

" Greetings, Satya and Savita. I am guessing they are the sons you were talking about"

"Greetings, Punda Mote. They are our son. We came here for their different ceremonies and possibly initiation."

The fat man smiled and ordered his servants to give them their rooms. And then he told Satya to be at home. The ceremonies were to be done next day morning.
