As Ben looks blankly into his screen Mother called out. "Ben come quick Kate is awake". Ben quickly runs over.
"Thank goodness your awake. We might have to get out of here" Ben says in a concerned way.
"What do you mean, what happened".Kate says in a shocked tone of voice.
"There was an explosion. The wall it's.. it's gone. The shockwave threw you back and glass cut your arm. I was afraid something worse might happen but I'm glad you're ok". Ben says looking at her with a smile.
"But what's this thing in front of me" Kate says confused. Ben looks relived for a second, glad he isn't crazy, but also confused why only they can see it.
"If it's what I think your seeing it looks like a blue box with words like ability and discription. but I don't know what it is. I see it too."
Suddenly from across the street a slam breaks the eerie silence.
"What was that" Kate says.
More sounds eco in the night. Then a sudden scream comes from the front door.
"Help let me in please. There killing every-."before they could finish there plea for help a slash is heard in the wind. Blood falls under the door, It falls silent again.
Ben signals people to stay quiet. They here footsteps outside the door slowly moving closer to the door. Then they heard a voice, it sounded like a man's voice calling out with an annoyed tone
"Stop messing around the quest dosnt count if we only kill the villages we need to cut the head of of the so called masters"
As he sad that, the rest move away very quickly.
As Ben continues to signal others to be quit he cautiously approaches the door. He cracks it open to see the body of the women that was pleading for help.
As he looks up he opens the door more. What meats his is the pungent smell of blood and smoke that now filled the streets. Bodies laying dead and children crying for there family's.
He opens the door completely to see hundreds of invaders moving through the area now avoiding them because of what he assumes to be the orders of the leader. As the invaders move on quick the only thing they left behind was destruction.
Flames consume the houses surrounding his own, bodies litter the streets. It's hell for him as the life he knew was crumbling in front of his eyes. All he could feel was rage. Rage for the pain the caused Kate, rage for the bodies of the friends he used to play with, pain for the family's dead on the ground, and contempt for the people that destroyed his home.
Ben, in rage and aguish starts yelling to the sky "Why is this happening to me, curse you you self righteous gods. Fuck you. Stop sitting by and watching your people die! Fucking do somethi-."
Before he finished cursing out the gods everything stops
. The noise, the flames, the smoke, it's all stopped in the air.
"You curse the gods for not helping you. But what do you think we are doing" a man in a black robe moves twords him.
"What do you mean" Ben says.
"I speak to you as the very god you curse."
"If you really are the god then do something" Ben screams.
The man in a calm tone "I have, I've given you a chance to prove your worth. Did you not see the window".
"Who gives a shit about your window, how is that going to help"Ben screams back.
"Fine"
the man says with a scoff "I'll give you the chance to do a better job then the gods themself."
With that he disappears everything resume. Ben looks around confused then suddenly pain filled his body. A window appears with only one word.
"Survive"
