Chapter 14 - Chapter 14 – The Lengara Kingdom and the Shamans’ Secret

After watching the final recording, the three of them fell silent. Rosso's face tightened, his eyes narrowing as if trying to recall something long buried.

"That crown…" he murmured. "I'm almost certain—that's the third prince of the Lengara Kingdom."

"The Lengara Kingdom?" Alfin leaned forward, his eyes sharp. "So Diana was taken there?"

Rosso didn't answer immediately. He rose to his feet, gesturing toward the house. "Come inside. This isn't something we should discuss out here."

Rai and Alfin exchanged a glance before following him in. The small room was filled with the scent of coffee and burning incense. Rosso poured three cups of coffee, then sat cross-legged in front of them, his usual cheerful expression gone.

"I can tell you where Lengara is," he began, "but if you're going there, you need to go quietly. You're not dealing with some random rogue spirit. This is a kingdom—an empire of jinn."

Alfin clenched his fist. "Then we just storm the place! Grab the prince and force him to tell us where Diana is!"

Rosso shook his head slowly, his eyes cold. "Royal jinn carry khodam-tracking seals. If you're not at a high enough level, they'll find you—and kill you—before you even know you've been seen."

"What level are we talking about?" Rai asked cautiously.

"At least level 10," Rosso replied. "And to reach that, you need to understand something very important."

He looked at them both, his voice steady.

"Every human is born with seven natural khodams, but most people can only awaken one or two. When someone awakens one natural khodam, they can host up to nine artificial khodams within themselves."

"The combination of one natural and nine artificial khodams is called a Khodam Peak, and once you reach it, you're officially considered a Level 10 Shaman."

Rai's brows furrowed. "So… there's no level 11?"

"No," Rosso said flatly. "That's the limit. One natural khodam can only support nine artificial ones. To go beyond that, you have to awaken a second natural khodam."

"So, a Level 20 Shaman has two natural khodams?" Rai asked.

Rosso nodded. "Exactly. And when both are fully developed and harmonized, they form a Super Khodam Level 20—a being that can grow up to twenty times the size of a human."

Alfin looked stunned. "So a Level 30 Shaman would need three natural khodams?"

"You're catching on," Rosso said with a hint of a smile. "But awakening a natural khodam isn't easy. The more you awaken, the heavier the toll on your soul."

Rai looked uneasy. Then he asked, "But… didn't you once say you saw a khodam a hundred times the size of a human? Was that… a Level 100 Khodam?"

Rosso was silent for a long moment. Then he sighed.

"I didn't want to talk about this yet… but maybe it's time. Especially since you've seen the key—the book your father hid, Rai."

"That book?" Rai blinked.

"It's no ordinary book. That book holds one of the greatest secrets of the white shamans… and the worst nightmare of the dark ones."

Rosso leaned in.

"Humans don't just have seven white khodams. They also have seven black khodams. Very few people can access both. That book… is the bridge."

"There are about seven such books in existence. They can't be destroyed—not even if thrown into the Earth's core. If a dark shaman manages to steal it, they only have one hour to read it before the book vanishes and returns to its rightful white shaman."

Rai sat back, a dawning realization crossing his face.

"So if I manage to unite seven white khodams and seven black ones… I could form a Super Khodam Level 140?"

Rosso nodded. "Yes. But when that happens, every dark shaman in the world will hunt you."

Alfin's eyes lit up. "Then what about your friend? The one who had a Level 100 Super Khodam? If he's still around, he could help us find Diana!"

Rosso smiled faintly—sadly. "He's no longer in this world. Not even in the spirit world."

Rai stared at him. "You mean… he died?"

"Not exactly," Rosso replied. "He crossed into a realm beyond both life and spirit. A place called the Sir Realm."

Rai and Alfin looked confused. "The… what realm?"

"The Sir Realm," Rosso continued, his voice low and steady, "is an invisible layer hidden within the spirit world itself. It's not just part of the supernatural—it's beyond it."

"Only a shaman who has reached Level 140 can enter the Sir Realm," he explained, "but the cost is immense. They must abandon their physical body forever. Once they cross over, they can never return to the mortal world. They exist only in the spirit world and the Sir Realm."

Rai swallowed hard. "So… what's the advantage?"

Rosso's gaze sharpened. "Once in the Sir Realm, the shaman becomes nearly impossible to kill. With no physical body left, the only way to destroy them is to eliminate all their khodams."

"By that stage," he added, "their khodams will have evolved into true jinn—immortal spirits capable of dwelling in the supernatural realm permanently."

"Does that make the shaman immortal?" Rai asked, eyes wide with curiosity.

"Almost," Rosso replied with a faint nod. "Considering how long jinn can live, the shaman would live an incredibly long life. Especially with 140 khodams—each one now evolved into a jinn. And in the spirit realm, there are countless treasures that extend life, usable only by jinn. Since the khodams have become jinn, the shaman can consume those treasures too."

Rai tilted his head. "Is the Sir Realm… beautiful?"

Rosso looked at him, eyes shadowed with sorrow. "Unfortunately, no."

He sighed. "With 140 bodies, as long as even one survives, the others can regenerate. But in the Sir Realm, khodam energy is thick and ever-present. It fuels not peace… but violence. Killing is a daily ritual there."

Rai and Alfin shuddered, a chill running down their spines.

"But sir, when will you take us to the Lengara Kingdom?" Alfin asked eagerly. "We promise not to do anything reckless."

Rosso fell silent for a moment, thinking.

"Alright," he finally said. "I'll take you there so you can see the kingdom for yourselves. But remember—just because we have one clue doesn't mean we'll find Diana right away. The kingdom is vast… very vast."
