Alex and Sophia exchanged a skeptical glance. Could they really trust Marco, Francesca's own brother?
"What's in it for you, Marco?" Alex asked, his eyes narrowing.
Marco smiled, a calculating glint in his eye. "Let's just say I'm tired of being in Francesca's shadow," he said. "I want a piece of the action, and I'm willing to do whatever it takes to get it."
Sophia raised an eyebrow. "And you think we can trust you?" she asked.
Marco shrugged. "You don't have to trust me," he said. "But I'm your best bet at taking down Francesca. And if we work together, we can both get what we want."
Alex and Sophia exchanged a glance. They knew they had to be careful, but Marco's words made sense. They needed all the help they could get to take down Francesca.
"Okay," Alex said finally. "We'll work with you. But if you betray us, you'll regret it."
Marco smiled, a cold, calculating smile. "I wouldn't have it any other way," he said.
And with that, the unlikely alliance was formed. Alex, Sophia, and Marco set out to take down Francesca and claim the city for themselves.
But as they navigated the treacherous underworld of the city, they knew they had to be careful. Francesca was not going to go down without a fight, and they had to be prepared for anything.
