Chapter 1 - blood rain and 90 percent world convert into zombies

"I Have to Control Zombies in the Apocalypse World"

Chapter 1: Blood Rain and the First Three

The sky had never looked so strange—black clouds roared above as if the heavens were screaming. Then came the rain. Not water. Not acid.

Blood.

Scarlet droplets poured from the sky like a curse from the gods. Streets flooded red, and everyone caught under that rain... changed. Flesh tore. Eyes dimmed. They became monsters. Zombies.

Jin, a skinny eighteen-year-old loner with more scars than friends, stood under the broken roof of an old bus stop. He had nowhere to go, but luck—or fate—kept him dry. As the world turned mad, his vision blinked blue:

[System Installed]

Welcome, Controller. You are chosen.

You can now control the infected.

Starting Control Slots: 3

Mission: Survive Day One.

Jin's heart raced.

He peeked out and saw them—dozens of blood-drenched zombies devouring anyone still human. Screams echoed, but the system spoke again:

New Skill: Command - Level 1

Range: 10 meters

Duration: Permanent (if Control Slot available)

Zombie Rank Detected: E

Jin found a half-dead zombie limping in the alley. Its body was broken, but it still moved. Trembling, Jin pointed.

"Control!" he yelled.

A pulse shot from his hand. The zombie stopped. Its eyes flickered blue.

Zombie Controlled: 1/3

Rank: E

Name: None

Status: Loyal

It worked. He did it. Jin had a pet zombie.

Two more zombies stumbled toward him. He used the same command twice. They knelt before him like soldiers.

Zombie Controlled: 3/3

Mission Updated: Clear Safe Path to Shelter

Reward: +1 Control Slot

With shaking legs and a heart ready to burst, Jin gave his first real order: "Kill the ones attacking the shelter entrance!"

His three zombies roared and charged.

E-rank zombies were weak—only slightly stronger than humans. But under his command, they were coordinated. Brutal. Efficient. The attacking horde fell one by one.

One zombie, stronger than the rest, tried to flee. Jin's controlled zombie stabbed it in the chest—and then…

A faint blue glow pulsed in its corpse.

Crystal Detected: Heart Core [E-Rank]

Chance: 1% Successful Drop

Item Stored in Inventory.

Jin's hand trembled as he stared at the crystal in his inventory. The system explained:

Humans can absorb Heart Cores to grow stronger.

Absorbing 5 E-Rank Crystals = E-Rank Human.

That was his path. Not just survival.

Power.

Control.

Domination.

The blood rain was still falling. But Jin wasn't afraid anymore.

He was ready to become king of the dead.
