"Hello! Infront of you is various information for you to pick from. Depending on what you pick will determin how you live the remainder of your life."
Looking around, Erin couldn't find the source of the words that he just heard. Confused he says "who are you? Where am I?" As he looks arounds more in the unfamiliar black void, with screen all around him with mountains of writing on them.
"This is the Awakening system for soul transfers. Your soul has been selected to be moved from earth to a world called Estoria. Please view the information on the screens and prepare to select skills according to the information."
Deciding to follow the strange voice Erin reviews all the information on the screens.
It reads "welcome to the awakening system. You have been selected to move to another world. Your soul is compatable to take up to ten diffrent skills of your own selection, your new body will be given these skills upon birth and youll be able to live out your life as you wish in this world. Please select the confirm button below to begin choosing your skills."
Erin reaches out his hand to press the button on the cold screen. After pressing the button the whole area flashes with bright light before revealing seven large leather bound books each with a letter on them.
Erin understanding some gaming terms picks up the S marked book. Flipping through the pages reading every skill closely.
Ultimate fire magic - S Rank
Ultimate water magic - S Rank
Ultimate wind magic - S Rank
Ultimate earth magic - S Rank
Infinte growth - S Rank
Ultimate martial arts - S Rank
Ultimate meele weapon - S Rank
Ultimate ranged weapon - S Rank
Ultimate recovery - S Rank
After reading the skills he picks out a few to ask about.
"What does these skills do?" Erin asks.
"The magic skills allow you to use that element magic at the highest strength a normal human could ever hope to get. The infinite growth skill allows the user to remove all level and skill rank maximums and also allows them to increase skill ranks as they use their other skills. The three combat ones are fairly similar to the magic ones. Ultimate recovery causes the user to heal themselves and restore mana and stamina at increadible speeds."
Thinking about it Erin responds with "great... i want the infinte growth skill, the ultimate recovery and the ultimate..." before he could finish the book in his hands crumbles to dust as the voice speaks again. "You can only have a maximum of two S Rank skills when first selecting."
Disapointed Erin looks at the other books, if his thinking was correct then he could increase a lower rank skill to become an S Rank skill. Hoping to find a fire magic skill and possibly a few other good skills.
He opens the A Rank skills and quickly selects the A Rank Master Fire Magic skill, continuing to look at the skills he also picks the Master ranged weapon A Rank skill. Not seeing any others in the book he likes he continues to open the B Rank skill book.
He finds a few skills he likes called Major Blacksmithing B Rank skill and Major Craftsmanship B Rank skill, quickly selecting them before continuing reading. Eventually he moves on to the C Rank skill book.
He finds a few that work for him, Enhanced mining C Rank, Enhanced Enchanting C Rank and enhanced language understanding C Rank.
For his final skill he decides on the enhanced monster taming C Rank skill.
Instantly after picking his final skill he finds himself in a room laying in a bed. Looking around confused he sees his is in a five year olds body and the room around him is fairly plain with beautiful wooden walls. A lantern hanging from above lighting up the room.
It doesn't take long before a wave of information floods into his brain about the area he lives in and his family. He is an only child, his mum is a seamstress and his dad is a retired soldier now working as a coach for swordsmanship. They live in a fairly large town near the capital city, the town they live in is know for the crafted goods and being a defensive fortess protecting the capital from invaders from other countries and even from the demon land. Today is also the day he is taken to the church to get his ID card and see all of his skills and stats.
Laying down Erin thinks about all of this information. His mum, Ether, walks in and helps him get ready as they are about to head to the church. She helps Erin put shoes on and grabs his hand pulling him wuickly out the door.
Apparently in this world children after the age of 5 are meant to start work and contribute to the family which means that this is the most important moment of having children.
In ten minutes they arrive at the church and the priest takes Erin through to a seperate room before saying "now all you need to do is place your hand on the crystal ball and it will print out your ID card and display all of your current skills and stats."
Erin reluctantly places his hand in the ball as a light flashes and a display screen appears.

Looking at his stats he is surprised that he can have infinite skills now. The priest looks at the stats and almost passes out before yelling for the head priest.
The head priest walks in looks at the display and walks out with Erin going to his parents. He starts talking to them "your boy is destined for great things, already at age 5 he has 10 skills which is nearly the highest maximum skills ive seen in adults but his maximum number of skills in infinte he can learn and do anything with the right teaching. He also has many high ranking skills for combat, crafting, producing and daily living. The church would even pay him to train and become a hero."
Before Erin knew what was happening he was told he would be living in the church and he would be paid 10 gold coins a month but 4 of them will be sent to his parents.
In comparison his father as a commander in the royal army only earned 8 gold coins a month.
His parents leave as he is given his ID card and showing him to his new bedroom, a lavish huge room with expensive furniture.
