Chapter 10: Such Nice Catacombs. - Lilith, Primordial Vampire (Shadow Slave Fanfic)

Lilith summoned the [Void Dress] and started heading down the stairs, she didn't know that it would be full of Nightmare Creatures.. but she was about to find out..

The worst thing was that the Stairs always remained the same. 4 meters wide, 6 meters tall, and the walls were flat and made of black stone, there were 3 holes on the outer walls for every 3 or 4 steps, they were holes meant for corpses or coffins.. there was no light. and no symbol for her progress beside the Gutted corpses she left in her wake..

When Lilith fought the first beast it was very easy. it was slow and weak, the zombie's body was rotting.. but it slowly got harder, much harder..

Lilith was also surprised she could suck blood from a skeleton.. but apparently she could suck 'blood' from everything that had a soul so it was a boon.

She kept on going down the stairs, killing and killing. It had been 11 hours since she woke up. also.. she thought that she would undoubtedly encounter a Fallen ranked Nightmare Creature as a Gate Guardian.. which was a Big Problem.. for a lot of reasons…

Lilith only stopped to regain her breath.. she also discovered she found it more easy to kill with her hands and feet rather then with a sword.. so she did.

'..here we go again.. the worst is that these stairs don't let me see the bottom..'

Lilith took a day to relax and sleep, Recharge and prepare mentally.. she had been down here for more then 5 months..
