Chapter 7: Hey! I Have a Plan!
After morning theory classes came Yuchuan's most anticipated subject: Weapon Throwing.
Under Yamamoto Eiichirō's guidance, the class filed into the training grounds.
The lesson was split into two parts:
Lecture on throwing techniques
Practical drills
Yuchuan listened intently—this directly affected his trait acquisition speed.
In stark contrast, Sarutobi Asuma slouched with disinterest.
As the Hokage's son, he'd mastered these basics pre-academy under a tokubetsu jōnin tutor.
Aside fromHatake Kakashi, he couldoutthrow anyone here.
But then—
Asuma's gaze locked onto Yuchuan and Kurenai, his face twisting with bitterness.
Why?!
He'd known Kurenaifirst!
Normally, Kurenai stood beside him—yet today, she'd chosen Yuchuan.
Eureka!
Asuma's brain lit up with a plan:
Defeat Yuchuan.
In the ninja world, strength ruled supreme.
And the gap between them was vast.
This wasa guaranteed win.
"Begin practice drills," Eiichirō announced, lining up wooden posts. "I'll correct your form."
"Me first!" Asuma strutted forward, shooting Kurenai a "watch this" look.
Yuchuan suppressed a laugh.
Like apeacock in mating season, all puffed up.
Kurenai, however, missed the hint, blinking in confusion.
Thunk! Thunk! Thunk!
Three kunai nailed the bullseye in rapid succession.
Asuma turned dramatically—only to freeze mid-pose.
Kurenai was whispering tips to Yuchuan, head bowed close.
"Excellent!" Eiichirō applauded.
Asuma's victory felt hollow.
The crowd cheered… for no one.
Had his strategy failed?Unthinkable!
"Thanks, Kurenai," Yuchuan said, absorbing her advice.
Asuma's perfect throws drew no surprise—he was the Hokage's son, after all.
Yuchuan stepped up to a post, lobbing his kunai.
It hit—but far from the center.
"That's it?" Asuma sneered.
"You'll improve!" Kurenai cheered.
"..."
Asuma's vision turned red.
Why?!
Bro… I can'tbreathe.
Progress Report
By session's end, Yuchuan's trait progress hit 10%.
The E-Rank [Weapon Throwing] trait only required basic shuriken/kunai proficiency—no steep hurdle.
"KAKASHI! A youthful duel awaits!"
A green blur shot past Yuchuan's vision—Might Guy, the man who'd nearly kicked destiny itself in the original story.
(Also awalking meme.)
"Next time!" Kakashi flicker-stepped away.
Since enrollment, Guy had dogged him daily for sparring matches—relentless as a cockroach in spring.
Enough tobreak anyone's sanity.
"Such speed!" Guy's eyes sparkled. "My eternal rival!"
Yuchuan watched their chase scene, recalling his own fitness plans.
Training like Guy?Suicide.
The man's taijutsu genius let him push Eight Gates to its limits—Yuchuan's body would crumble within a week.
(Kurenai would besobbing at his funeral.*)
"Yuchuan!"
Asuma blocked his path, chest puffed. "I challenge you!"
Inspired byGuy's antics.
"Asuma!" Kurenai scowled. "That's bullying!"
Her opinion of him sank further.
Yuchuan hadtwo daysof training—how was this fair?
"N-Not like that!" Asuma backpedaled. "We'll duel at term's end!"
Love hadrotted his brain.
In the original story, Asuma was decent—just currently in his edgy phase.
But kidslacked impulse control.
As for the duel? Perfect.
With a cheat system, why hold back?
Plus, Asuma made a great benchmark—a standard "genius" unit.
"Deal," Yuchuan agreed.
Three months was plenty to outpace a six-year-old.
(If hecouldn't, he'dheadbutt Tsunade's chest to death.*)
Kurenai bit her lip, worried.
"YES!" Asuma fist-pumped, oblivious to her waning favor.
Grind Never Stops
Post-duel pact, Yuchuan trained harder.
That evening, after dinner, he drilled kunai throws in the backyard woods.
By bedtime, his trait progress had climbed to 15%.
At this rate, one weekto unlock it.
But more traits were needed.
Tomorrow: dawn cardio to trigger a fitness-related trait.
Progress barsmotivated him.
Other priorities:
Three Basic Techniques
Chakra control drills
Exhausted, Yuchuan drifted off planning his power-up roadmap.
Midnight Message
"Yuchuan… Yuchuan…"
A hollow whisper slithered through the dark.
Yuchuan jolted upright, rubbing his eyes.
The hell?!
Ghost summoningat this hour?
Then—silence.
"...?"
Moonlight revealed fading chakra script on the window:
"Sunday 9 AM - Konoha Knowledge Bookstore."
Gone in seconds.
Yuchuan's heart pounded.
Kumo's spy networkhad made contact!
Finally,a rendezvous—thoughlacking rooftop drama.
Who'd be his handler?
Kumo's most "memorable" figures:
Plot Armor Raikage (the Harem Jutsu survivor)
Samui (rivaling Tsunade'slegendary assets)
