Before the stick.
Before the slime.
Before the truck came out of nowhere and body-slammed me into the afterlife like it was some WWE match...
There was one simple goal on my mind:
Check Ayato's crit stats.
That's it. Nothing more. I wasn't plotting to save the world, discover the meaning of life, or even figure out what the heck was going on in Khaenri'ah—no, my plan was more... pure. Just a casual deep dive into my Ayato's character sheet. Maybe adjust his artifacts, flex a little. You know, normal stuff.
But you know what they say: life has a way of slapping your face when you least expect it. One moment, I'm minding my business, about to check out Ayato's crit damage, and the next, I'm on a one-way trip to a world I've only ever seen in my phone. No warnings. No signs. Just a truck that felt like it had a personal vendetta against me.
And what does fate do?
It says: "Nah, let's throw you into a whole new world and make it real weird."
So, here I am.
Teyvat. Visionless. Weaponless. With absolutely nothing to my name except a questionable folder of Nilou-related content living rent free in my head.
Oh, and my phone, but of course, it only has Genshin Impact and other stuffs like notes, camera, gallery, and map installed. Classic. You'd think fate would at least have the decency to drop me in a world with a decent Wi-Fi connection, but nope. Just me, a single folder of very questionable Nilou-related content, and a phone that might as well be a brick.
If you're reading this and somehow stumbled across my completely unnecessary backstory, here's one thing I need you to know:
I didn't ask for this.
I wasn't even aiming to be some big hero or mess with the fate of Teyvat. I just wanted to chill, maybe farm for a few Ayato constellations, level up my characters, and get that sweet, sweet crit damage. But fate—being the fickle thing it is—decided I needed a new adventure.
And now that I'm here?
I'm gonna make it weird.
One thing's for sure though: no matter how strange this world gets, I'm gonna make the most of it.
Might as well, right?
What else am I gonna do, stand around and feel sorry for myself?
Not my style.
I'm gonna figure this place out, maybe get myself a Vision -preferably a Hydro one, thanks-, and hey, if I bump into Ayato or Nilou along the way... well, that's just a bonus.
