Chapter 44 - HOLIDAY ESCAPED?!?!

As Christmas Day dawned, Snow's family sprang to life, their home transforming into a winter wonderland.

The Christmas tree stood tall, adorned with sparkling ornaments and twinkling lights.

Snow's mom, Ella, was busy in the kitchen, the aroma of roasting turkey and baking cookies wafting through the air.

Meanwhile, Snow and her friend Minnie were lounging upstairs, enjoying a lazy morning.

Ella called out to them, her voice filled with excitement. "Girls, get down here! Let's decorate the Christmas tree and have a Christmas party. We'll get the sisters together and have a wonderful Christmas dinner."

Snow rolled her eyes good-naturedly as she descended the stairs. "Mom, am I not too old for this Christmas tree and all the fuss?"

Ella chuckled, her eyes shining with warmth. "Even I, your mother, still honors the Christmas tradition. You need to come out and participate."

Snow relented, and Minnie followed her downstairs. Ella's eyes widened in admiration as she took in Minnie's beauty.

"Wow, Minnie, you look stunning. I should have gotten a daughter like you." Snow playfully rolled her eyes, a hint of sarcasm in her voice.

"Ha ha, why don't you just take your precious second daughter and let me be?"

Ella laughed, her eyes twinkling with amusement. "No way, you're all coming downstairs with me. Minnie, you're part of the family now."

Minnie smiled, nodding in agreement. "Yes, Aunt Ella." Ella's voice took on a playful tone. "Now, get your butts downstairs, girls. We're going to have a fantastic Christmas celebration."

Together, the trio headed downstairs, the festive atmosphere enveloping them.

The Christmas tree sparkled, the decorations shone, and the delicious aromas wafting from the kitchen made their mouths water. It was going to be a Christmas to remember.

While Violet's family arrived at Snow's house for the Christmas dinner party, the atmosphere was filled with warmth and camaraderie.

The two families exchanged friendly pleasantries, their laughter and chatter filling the air.

Ms Ella welcomed Violet's family with open arms, and the guests were ushered into the festive living room.

The room was decorated with tasteful Christmas decorations, and the aroma of delicious food wafted from the kitchen.

Violet, her parents, and her sister Annabelle were greeted by Snow, Minnie, and their family.

As they mingled, the conversation flowed easily, with discussions about holiday plans, favorite traditions, and shared memories.

As they admired the Christmas tree, Violet exclaimed, "Whoa, look at it! It's back!" Snow rolled her eyes good-naturedly, "Right, the Christmas family tradition again."

Minnie, however, was enchanted, "I don't get it, it's lovely." Violet and Snow turned to her, smiling, and Violet suggested, "I'll go get us drinks." Snow and the others agreed, "Yeah, you better do."

Minnie headed off to get the drinks, leaving the others to continue their lively conversation.

As Minnie walked away, she pulled out her phone and checked her messages.

Her eyes widened as she saw a text from William, inviting her to hang out on Christmas.

He wanted to take her out on a date, and Minnie's heart skipped a beat. She smiled to herself, feeling a flutter of excitement.

She pondered her response as she fetched the drinks, her mind preoccupied with the prospect of spending Christmas with William.

Minnie excused herself from the gathering, her eyes shining with excitement as she showed her friends the text message from William.

"Guys, I need to get out of here right now," she whispered, her voice barely audible over the festive chatter.

Snow and Violet exchanged a curious glance, their faces lighting up with intrigue. "What's going on?" Snow asked, her voice low and conspiratorial.

Minnie hesitated for a moment before showing them the text message. "I think it's finally going to happen tonight," she said, her voice trembling with anticipation.

The girls squealed with excitement, their eyes wide with envy. "Wow, go girl!" Violet exclaimed, her voice barely above a whisper.

Snow nodded in agreement. "But I need to get out of here first," Minnie said, her brow furrowed with concern.

"Your mom wouldn't let you leave the family Christmas tradition," Snow replied, her eyes sparkling with mischief.

Snow leaned in, a sly grin spreading across her face. "I have a plan," she whispered.

Violet's eyes lit up with excitement. "Let's do it, go!" Snow nodded, her mind racing with possibilities.

A few minutes later, Snow approached her mom, a concerned expression on her face. "Mom, Minnie is sick. I think she needs to sleep in tonight."

Her mom's expression turned solicitous, her voice filled with worry.

"What's wrong with her? How come she felt so ill just a minute ago?" Snow fabricated a story, her voice steady. "I think it's the drinks. She's allergic to something, and her temperature has gone really high."

Her mom nodded sympathetically. "Oh, don't worry. Just let her sleep in tonight."

Snow smiled inwardly, relieved that her plan was working. But then her mom's expression turned stern, her voice firm. "What about you? You're not sick, and even if you were, I wouldn't let you sleep in. I know you just want to skip this family dinner, maybe go have s*x with a boy."

Snow rolled her eyes, her face flushing with annoyance. "Mom, I'm not planning to do that," she protested.

"Hmm-mmm" Her mom hummed before turned her back on her, dismissing her concerns.

Snow muttered under her breath, "Typical mom," before turning to rejoin her friends.

Snow walked upstairs to meet her friends, Violet began helping her get dressed.

Violet carefully selected a stunning outfit, adorning Minnie with a beautiful dress that accentuated her curves.

She styled Minnie's hair, adding a few loose strands framing her face, and applied a touch of makeup to enhance her natural beauty.

When they were done, Violet stepped back to admire her handiwork.

"How do I look?" she asked, her eyes sparkling with curiosity. Snow's response was immediate.

"You look like I could actually kiss you right now if I was a boy." The girls giggled, their laughter filling the room.

When Minnie prepared to leave, Violet asked Snow, "How do I go now?" Snow's response was matter-of-fact. "I'm sorry, Minnie, but there's no other way. You have to follow through."

She pointed to the window, and Violet's eyes widened in understanding.

Snow continued, "Yeah, I did that when I was eighteen, and my mom wouldn't let me go to clubs or parties with you guys. Sometimes I follow the window if you didn't know." The girls chuckled, and Minnie's eyes locked onto the window.

"Is there a ladder there?" Minnie asked, her voice barely above a whisper. Snow nodded.

"Yeah, there is a ladder there." Minnie took a deep breath, grabbed her handbag, and made her way to the window.

She climbed out, her heart racing with excitement, and began to descend the ladder.

As she reached the ground, Snow and Violet leaned out the window, their voices barely above a whisper.

"Have you gotten down safely?" Minnie looked up, a smile on her face. "Yes, thank you guys. I love you."

Snow and Violet replied in unison, "Love you more. Just be careful, and we'll see you when you get back."

Minnie nodded, her heart full of gratitude, before turning to leave.

As she disappeared into the night, Violet turned to Snow. "Let's get back to the party before your mom notices we're gone." Snow nodded in agreement.

"Yeah, let's go." Together, they slipped back into the festive atmosphere, their secret safe for now.
