The Sorbet Kingdom is present on a tropical island with palm trees, rough terrain. The island is covered with a few forests. The majority of the buildings mostly follow a similar architectural design of popsicle-shaped towers.
The Sorbet kingdom is home to many special races. One of them is are Buccaneers. The Buccaneers are a special mixed-blood race of humanoids taller than average humans but smaller than giants. There is a rumor that they carry the blood of giants.
The legend of the Sun God Nika has been passed down in buccaneer folklore for many generations, as Nika is revered as a god figure who will bring joy and freedom to the world, as per buccaneer beliefs. Maybe this can be one of the reasons why the World Government forced them either into slavery for the World Nobles or put them to death.
The Castle Town is the capital of the Sorbet Kingdom, located to the north of the country. It is where most of the kingdom's royal family, nobles, as well as working citizens live.
There is a church near the southeast of the kingdom that is managed by the Buccaneers.
The current ruling family of the sorbet kingdom is Petro, and the current ruling king is Dean Petro. He is a psycho and corrupt ruler who engages in practices like excessive taxation, forced labor, and the suppression of trade, all to amass wealth and power.
He created a stark social hierarchy where the ruling elite enjoy immense privilege while the majority live in poverty and hardship.
The Heavenly Tribute for the Sorbet Kingdom is around 4 billion berries. Even after achieving these through taxes, the current ruler still exhibits his cruel nature of exploitation. He uses those extra berries paid as part of the tax to live a luxurious life, like the Celestial Dragons.
South Sea, Tropical island, The Sorbet Kingdom, Year 1254 of the Sea Calendar.
On this particular day, a ship was sailing towards the port of the Sorbet Kingdom.
Maverick is seated at the bow of the ship, where steel meets the sea and sky stretches in all directions. Their silhouette is sharp against the backdrop of open water, legs drawn in slightly, arms resting on bent knees. His gaze is locked forward, toward the horizon, where the port of the Sorbet Kingdom is located.
The ship slows, a deep rumble echoing through its belly as it glides into harbor. Ropes tighten. Voices call out. The gangway lowers with a creak, bridging two worlds—the steady pulse of the sea behind and the firm ground of the land ahead.
Maverick steps forward from the deck, his feet steady but his eyes roaming. The salty wind that once filled his lungs now fades, replaced by the scents of earth, stone, soil, and distant cooking fires.
The remaining 3 to 4 boys, along with people who were once enslaved by Bone-Chill Pirates, descended. Slowly, almost reverently, from the ship. Each step echoes with a mix of relief and reluctance, like waking from a dream that lingers just out of reach. At the bottom, they pause again and turn for one last glance at the ship towering above.
Maverick has already given around 200K berries to these people to live life again. So, thanking one last time to their benefactor, they proceed into their new life in this kingdom.
After years of living alone, the sight in front of him made him excited. He started visiting nearby food stalls to taste the special local foods. After 2 hours spent on it, he started his daily training. The previous training involved 100 push-ups, 100 sit-ups, 100 squats, and a 10km run is no longer yielding much benefit. So he increased it to 500 push-ups, 500 sit-ups, 500 squats, and a 20km run. Once this physical training is done, he will practice the basic sword skills like slash, parry, block, thrust, footwork, and stance.
Once all his training was done, he found an Inn named "Pek's Inn'.
The heavy wooden door creaks open, letting in a gust of cool evening air and the weary figure who's pushed it. Laughter hums in corners, mugs clink together, and the floorboards creak underfoot.
Maverick steps in, brushing the road dust from his cloak, eyes scanning the room until he finds the innkeeper, wiping down the bar with a worn cloth and a knowing look.
With a dry throat and a half-smile, the Maverick approached the innkeeper.
"Evening," he said, voice low and rough from the road. "Got anything hot to eat? And something stronger to drink?"
The innkeeper grins, nodding toward the Maverick.
"Stew's still warm. Lamb and potatoes. Bread, if you're lucky. Ale or cider?"
"Cider," the Maverick replies, leaning on the counter. "And please keep it coming."
Placing berries on the wood—honest pay for honest hunger. Soon, a wooden plate is set down, steam rising from a thick, hearty stew, with a crust of bread on the side. A mug follows—cold, sweet cider, beads of moisture sliding down its side.
Maverick exhales, tension melting from his shoulders as he takes the first sip. For a moment, the world is just warmth, food, and the quiet comfort of being somewhere safe.
In one of the corners of the Inn, many bounty posters hang crooked on the inn's old wooden beam, pinned with a rusted nail, the edges curled from damp air and time. A bounty poster, yellowed and stained, but still legible enough to catch the eye of anyone who dares to look too long.
Many parchments were drafted with WANTED — DEAD OR ALIVE.
As of avid One-Piece reader, he knew some of the bounty posters of the Original One Piece, like Luffy's 3 Billion Berries, Zoro's 1,111,000,000 Berries. Since he transmigrated to 12 the century, he wanted to know the Bounties of the current overlord pirates.
Curiously, Maverick moved towards the bounty posters hanging in the old wooden Beam.
When he saw it, his eyes snapped back to the posters.

Seeing these bounty posters, he became flabbergasted. No words can be spoken.
The top part of the wooden beam has many strong pirates.
The first thing that came to his mind, seeing these posters, was whether the World Government and the Marines still exist, or the Pirates have already destroyed them?
Even in the original One Piece timeline, during Rocks D. Xebec's era, pirates were not like this. At maximum, there were around 6 to 7 pirates and their bounties were not this high.
If World Government and Marine still existed, what were they doing when these strong pirates were roaming freely on the sea?
How come so many Mythical and Logia devil fruits appeared here? Some devil fruits were not even found in the original One Piece timeline.
Maverick thought, either after these Pirates died naturally or got killed by others, their devil fruits reappeared. Either the World Government searched for them and found them, then kept with them, or they were in shipwrecks that sank in the seas.
