They all sat around the table enjoying family time with Zhong between Jinyin and Yin... I was also sitting there.. "husband.. next month is our son's birthday"Yin said in attempt to start a conversation... The little boy's eyes lit up hearing about his birthday... "So?" Jinye said nonchalantly... Looking at his son.. I could only imagine how much Jinye hates him... "Let's throw a party for him" she suggested... "Whatever you want" he said.. Yin kissed Zhong on the head.. "baby will add a year to his age.. you're all grown up now.. my handsome baby" she said smiling at him... "Well since he's all grown up, can he not sit close to you?" Jinye asked.... Yin gave him a 'are you serious ' look... "Thanks auntie Yin" the little guy said.. "awwn.. so cute" she was so obsessed with his hair... She ruffles it a bit and gave a light peck on his cheek... "What about me?" Jinye complained... "You're old now.. who would kiss an old cheek" she playfully said... Huh? But that's not actually what she said last night 🤤..."can you also kiss daddy" Zhong asked... Yin patted his hair and gave Jinye a soft peck on his cheek too.. "are you satisfied?" She asked Zhong and he smiled nodding... "You didn't ask me" Jinye said grinning mischievously... "You dirty minded man... Who would make the mistake of asking you" she said...
The doorbell rings, the butler went to check... How I sensed all is not well "where is she" Mrs Dong yelled from the entrance... "Mom is everything ok?" Yin asked as she stood up to greet her mother-in-law.. "you fox spirit" Mrs Dong said with a slap on yin's cheek... Holding her cheek,she stared at her in disbelief and surprise... Jinye pulled Yin behind him, while Zhong stood to protect her... "Mom I know that you don't like my wife, but that doesn't give you the right to come into her house and harass her" Jinye said looking so mad 😡💢... "Did she bewitch you... Why can't you see that she just wants your money" Mrs Dong said... "Don't accuse my mom like that " Zhong yelled... For the first time, he dared raise his voice... "Shut up little guy you know nothing... What did you do to my grandson?" She asked .. "mother you can't just come here and throw baseless accusations at me without valid reasons" Yin said.. still recovering from her swollen cheek.. "proof huh.. fine" Mrs Dong said.. dipping her hand into her bag, she drinks out an office file.. handing it to Jinye... "I spent a lot here.. to avoid this from leaking... What will the media say... Your wife is a shameless person sleeping around with men and taking shameless pictures?" Mrs Dong yelled... Huh... That's not possible..Yin can never be like that... She hardly goes out.. and she loves Jinye a lot... "They are all fake..." Yin defended... "Where did you get this pictures from" Jinye asked... Bringing out her phone, Mrs Dong shows Jinye an unknown number.. "he has been chatting me saying he will release the pictures if I don't pay... You know I care about your reputation more than anything " she said... "Baby don't tell me you believe these" Yin asked... "Can you give me a moment to think" Jinye almost yelled at yin... "Fine" feeling offended, she went into her room.... "You must divorce... There's no way you are going to be with this vixen" Mrs Dong said... "But mom Yin hardly goes out.. and even if she does, I take her around... I don't believe this" he tried to convince himself and also his mom... "What of when she left, when you had issues because of your son.. maybe she went to stay with another guy " Mrs Dong tried to reason... "Mom please give me space to think.. I'll talk to you later " Jinye said and ran up to his room... Upon getting there, he sees Yin had already packed up her stuffs... He couldn't even say anything cuz of shock... Fragments of what his mom told him began to ring in his head... "What if she's going to him... Had it been like this all along?.. was she waiting for me to find out before she leaves " his head was imagining different scenarios... "Won't you stop mom" Zhong cried tugging at Jinye's shirt... "Are you going to him?" Was what came out of his mouth... It was too late before he realized what he said... It came out wrong... Scoffs "after all the love we shared is this how you take me.... Do you think I'm that cheap... Huh.. well it's my fault.. I just hate that I love you... Yes I love you.. I happen to be saying it for the first time to you... I actually wanted to give you this " she said trying hard to hold her tears... She dips her hand into the bag and gets out a test slip and pt strips... Giving them to him, she turns and exit without waiting... Zhong ran after her crying.. "please don't go" he was crying... "Baby I can't stay where nobody trusts me" she said with a forced smile... "But I trust you" he said hugging her... "It won't make any difference baby... I don't want to fight this war alone" she said.. "war? There are no war ships or guns" he innocently said blinking his puppy eyes... She laughed patting his hair.. "it's not actually a war baby... But I can't stay here" she said.. "let me come with you" he suggested... "I can't give you a good life baby... Here daddy will provide anything you need" she said but no.. he was adamant.. she had no choice but to go with him...
