Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: Departure for Planet Nop

Chapter 2: Departure for Planet Nop

"Holy crap, this damned System finally let me out!"

After exiting the main hall, Tony was loaded into a car.

The vehicle sped towards an interstellar transport hub on the planet.

No one noticed that inside the car, Tony's once-blank, foolish eyes were gradually sharpening.

A flicker of divine light flashed within them, and a sneer curled at the corners of his mouth.

Tony wasn't originally from this world.

He was a transmigrator — from Earth, United States.

But unlike typical transmigrators, Tony's fate had been unusually cruel.

The moment he arrived, his consciousness was imprisoned by the Mecha Martial Venerable System inside a sealed space.

For the past sixteen years, he had been forced to cultivate a technique called the Infinity Star Combat Art.

Meanwhile, his physical body was reduced to a mindless tool — disassembling mechanical parts endlessly.

Only after completing the task of disassembling one million parts would his consciousness be released back to the real world.

Tony's eyes darkened with cold fury.

Kevin Kane, huh?

And all those who supported him...

Even though his mind had been trapped, Tony had been able to see everything.

Every humiliation, every betrayal, every act of cruelty against his helpless body — all committed by his so-called "older brother" Kevin Kane.

For sixteen years, Kevin had secretly sabotaged him.

He ordered the staff of the Kane Family to block Tony from any real training opportunities.

He even covered it up so that their father, Charles Kane, remained unaware.

"Just you wait," Tony thought grimly.

"When I return, I'll rip that smug face of yours to pieces."

Just then, Tony felt a torrent of strange energy from the System flood through his body.

On a molecular level, his genes began undergoing dramatic transformations.

Tony's structure shifted — from a purely carbon-based lifeform to a hybrid of energy and matter.

> Beep... Gene Modification Complete. Host has acquired the "Nine Luminaries Star Sacred Body."

> Physique synchronization successful. Starlight Points System activated.

> Beep... For every mechanical part disassembled, host will gain +1 Starlight Point.

> Starlight Points can be used for cultivation, self-repair, offensive attacks, and body tempering.

If anyone had been near Tony at that moment, they would have been astounded to see his energy levels soaring.

Initially, Tony's body energy was barely 1 point — pitiful for any human.

Now, it exploded upward, stabilizing at 21 points!

Meanwhile, after sixteen years of mental tempering in the System, Tony's brainwave energy shot to an astounding 25 points.

It was an overwhelming leap.

For comparison, Kevin Kane — hailed as the Empire's number-one genius in the last decade — had only managed 13 to 15 points when he first unlocked his genetic lock.

Tony had utterly crushed those numbers.

In fact, Tony's initial unlock of his genetic lock had already exceeded the limits of normal human evolution.

As Tony finished digesting these changes, the car came to a halt.

The door swung open, revealing an attendant standing outside — his expression filled with contempt.

"What a joke," the man scoffed.

"With the resources you wasted, someone like me could've ruled a city by now."

"And now look at you — kicked out of the Kane Family. Hurry up, get out!

Still think you're some precious young master?"

The attendant spat disdainfully.

In truth, within the Kane household, most of the servants secretly despised Tony.

He had been the perfect target — a defenseless "idiot" they could abuse without consequence.

As long as Tony had mechanical parts to tinker with, he never fought back.

Tony's eyes turned ice-cold.

He remembered it all:

The beatings, the mockery, the scorn.

"Do you even realize who you're speaking to?"

Tony stepped out of the vehicle, his gaze sharp enough to cut glass.

The attendant flinched.

This wasn't the same drooling fool he was used to seeing.

There was a terrifying clarity and strength in Tony's eyes now.

"The hell? The fool's talking back now?"

The man muttered, then quickly regained his arrogance.

"You think you're still a Kane? Out there on the frontier, you're nothing — less than a dog!"

Snarling, the attendant swung his hand to slap Tony across the face.

After all, Tony's energy level had always been reported at 1 point.

The attendant, with 3 points, thought he could easily crush him.

But—

Tony calmly raised his hand — and caught the strike mid-air.

CRACK!

The attendant's wrist snapped audibly under the crushing pressure.

"AHHH!"

He screamed in agony, collapsing onto the pavement.

The disbelief in his eyes was clear:

How could Tony be this strong?

Before he could cry out further, Tony slapped him hard across the face.

THWACK!

The man flew backward, crumpling into unconsciousness.

"If it weren't illegal to kill on the capital planets, your fate today would be much worse," Tony said coldly.

Without wasting another second, Tony leaned down, snatched the attendant's StarCredit card and transfer pass, and strode toward the looming spaceport gates.

According to Imperial Law, any sixteen-year-old without cultivation certification was required to serve five years on a frontier logistics world.

Tony had no choice but to comply — at least for now.

Besides...

The Kane Family had already cast him aside.

From here on out, he would carve his own path — across the stars —

In his mecha.

And no one would stand in his way.
