"Go!" The creature pounces upon Tomasa, chomping down on the unprotected side of her throat. Tomasa lets out a heart-wrenching scream, one that follows Leah with every step she takes. It doesn't take long for her to feel the unfamiliar sensation of her heart being ripped in two, as if a piece of her had been taken away. And yet, she doesn't have time to cry out and swear to the Divines; she has no choice but to continue.
The path grows less visible as the night hours draw on. Suddenly, her movements cease. A soft hum begins to surround her, increasing in volume and threatening to overwhelm her with its might. But no trace of fear appears in her green, sleep-deprived eyes. She continues to run, her steps keeping pace with the speed of her heart.
The haunting hum mocks her advances, growing with every step she takes. Soon, anger overtakes the hum, and it transforms into a horrific shriek, daring her to continue even though warned of such a thing. With her refusal to comply, a pair of haunting, flaxen eyes appears in the darkness, sentencing her to death.
She continues to run.
She takes a stand, sending a wave of electricity at it.
