A man screamed while sitting in front of multiple computers and typing on a keyboard. His typing was very professional and fast. His hair was white, and his eyes were purple. A smirk stretched across his face as he continued to type.
"They say money can't buy happiness, but those idiots don't know happiness is money!"
"They say money can't buy love. Who needs that crap when you have money?"
He kept typing as fast as he could.
"Who cares if my hair turns white from stress or other random bullshit! As long as I have money, I have everything!!!"
He said confidently, his fingers dancing across the keyboard. He repeatedly shouted
"Money! Money! Money! MONEY!!!!!"
The clock on the wall ticked. It was 12:34 AM.
Hours passed by. It was now 6:00 AM. The alarm on his phone rang.
He stopped typing, then slowly reached toward the end of the table and pulled his phone.
"Huh? It's morning already?" he said.
He unlocked his phone and opened his bank app to check his balance. The amount read

He looked at it seriously and said

He stood up from his chair and turned toward the door. Stepping out onto his balcony, he looked over his huge white mansion with a swimming pool and a vast garden. In his parking area sat five luxury cars. He stretched his body and said

He smiled.

But before he could finish, he suddenly felt dizzy. His vision blurred. His phone slipped from his hand and crashed onto the ground.
He grabbed his head tightly in pain. In a shaky voice, he muttered
"Wh-what! What's happening... it hurts..."
His body struggled to stay upright. He staggered backward until—

He fell from the balcony, heading straight toward the swimming pool.
His body went limp, eyes wide in shock. In a small voice, he whispered as he fell
"Huh... am I going to die... like this? No way... how can I... I-I haven't done anything in my life yet... all I've done is work and work... just to earn money and enjoy my life... if I die here... all my hard work... all my money... will be—"
Before he could complete the thought, he hit the water.

Everything went dark and silent.
He spoke softly in the void

Suddenly, a white square box appeared in the darkness. Then, text appeared inside it

A blinding white flash engulfed his vision.
"What just happened..." Yushei asked.
Suddenly, he heard voices.
"Give me the rope!" a man's voice shouted.
Another splash.
Someone was swimming toward him.
He slowly opened his eyes. A man with short brown hair wearing a simple brown shirt and a muscular build was swimming toward him. In the distance, a road path lined with trees could be seen.
Some people were standing on that path, and a horse cart stood nearby.
"What is happening..." he murmured.
Then his eyes closed again as he lost consciousness.

Moments later, Yushei's eyes shot open. He was breathing heavily, sweat covering his body. He was lying on a wooden floor inside a horse cart.
He quickly sat up.
A young girl with blonde hair and green eyes, dressed like a witch, stared at him in surprise. Beside her was another girl with brown hair and black eyes, dressed in short clothes like a fighter, a sword resting in her lap, also looking surprised.
A man sat opposite them. He had green spiky hair, light green eyes, and wore a coat while holding a wand. He too looked surprised.
"A-are you alright?" the blonde-haired girl asked softly.
Yushei was totally confused and shocked. He looked at them, confused.
(W-where am I...) he thought.
The girl with brown hair stood and came closer.
"Hey mister, are you alright? We saw you were drowning in the river, so we saved you."
He looked at her. In a shaky voice, he said:
"Drown...? River..."
Suddenly, he remembered falling from the balcony into the swimming pool. His eyes widened.
(What the hell is going on here...? Who are these people, and why am I inside a cart??) he thought.
The green-haired man spoke.
"You don't remember? You might have fallen into the river..."
Then, a voice from outside the cart spoke up.
"Is he awake?" the driver asked.
"Yes, Bertol, he's awake!" the blonde girl replied.
"Ohh, that's good!" Bertol answered.
Yushei slowly raised his head and, with a shaky voice, asked
"W-who are you people?"
The blonde girl smiled and answered
"My name is Kiri Kazi."
The brown-haired girl looked at him and said
"I am Hinaki Hamu."
The green-haired man added
"I am Garfilt Garon. And the guy driving this cart is Bertol Maru and the one who saved you from drowning"
Then he looked at Yushei curiously.
"And who are you? You don't look like someone from this place."
Yushei looked at them in confusion, then replied
"I-I'm Yushei Kurai..."
They looked at him, and Kiri asked
"Yushei Kurai? That's a different name."
Yushei looked behind the cart door. The cart was moving along a dirt and stone path.
He raised his voice and asked
"Umm... can I ask... where am I..."
Hinaki responded
"We are currently going to the Village of Pink Leaf."
Yushei was confused.
(Village of Pink Leaf?? What is going on...) he asked himself.
Then suddenly, he remembered the white square box and the text inside.

The square box floated in front of Yushei's face, text glowing
