It had been months since the Evan brothers returned, Nick after much persuasion from his mother eventually begrudgingly went to his new home where he finally met his new siblings who eagerly awaited his arrival, Ryan stayed by Nate's side. After hearing that Nate bore the brunt of their return he couldn't bring himself to leave his side instead taking up residence in the Association. Nate's recovery was much more intense as he required constant life support with the latest technology being used and donated from around the world and even from the Elven population in Elgiir, their return was something everyone was invested in and because of this many nations were already attempting to buy favour with the S Ranked returners, even more so after news of their ties to the Evan family.

Ryan sat beside Nate while managing affairs related to his guild on his tablet, everything was normal until he felt a raging surge of mana begin to thrash about, at first it was subtle but it quickly became so dense that even he was sickened by it, the red mist flowed from the creaks of the life pod where Nate resided. Ryan looked at the pod in horror where through the glass window he saw his son violently slamming his fists against the interior, his eyes reminded him of the demons of a past raid and his appearance slightly shifted as fangs grew while he released brutal roars which seeped out of the Pod and almost deafened Ryan who quickly threw himself towards the Pod where his son suffered. The hinges already began to come off so it didn't take Ryan much effort to tear it off however as he did so and went to hold his son to calm him down he was thrown across the room.
Feeling the mana and hearing the terrifying roars the every Rank B and above who managed to subdue their fear and move rushed to the the source only to find Nate holding his head in pain raging while his father The Light Of Bastion barely conscious on the other side of the room. The players were all shocked at the scene and hesitated on what to do however they had little choice but to brace themselves as Nate launched towards them with murderous intent, Ryan snapped back to reality and quickly intercepted his son throwing them both through the wall. "Son! It's Dad! Please Calm down!" He pleaded with Nate who couldn't hear anything in his berserker state and instead quickly rose to his feet and went to strike Ryan who desperately blocked his sons attacks and endured the beating.
"What the hells going on here!?" A voice rang out form behind the Ryan and as he took his eyes of his son he was struck in the face sending him flying towards the source.
"Shit! Well this should be fun." the man said before he rushed towards Nate who had locked onto him already after feeling the immense mana coming from him.
"No stop don't!-" Ryan called out
"I'm not gonna kill him asshole, just wanna test test him-" As the man responded to Ryan he felt first hand the strength of the returner everyone had been talking about non stop.
The man was knocked down and spat out some blood as he stood up after evading the follow up attack. "Shit! He's the real deal!" He said before getting serious and engaging Nate with a vicious dog fight, the two flung each other around landing vicious blows on each other, neither one backing down.
The fight gave Ryan enough time to gather his strength and come up with a plan to subdue his son, he stood up and yelled "Mike, we've got to bring him to the testing grounds!" before punching the ground and opening up a hole into the floor below, luckily the whole building had already evacuated letting Ryan open up hole after hole until he reached the basement where the testing grounds were, he opened the door to the room before yelling up to Mike who had slowly grappled to bring Nate down each floor "It's open!"
"Finally!" Mike said as he kicked Nate off balance before spearing him into the basement, as they landed Ryan grabbed his sons leg and flung him into the room, the two entered the room and closed the door behind them.
"Now, shall we really let some of that rage out son?" Mike said while taking off his jacket finally able to let loose.
Ryan and Mike exchanged blows, barely able to keep up with Nate who only got faster and stronger with more time and damage he took, it had been over an hour now and Nate showed no sign of stopping. It was then that the doors opened once more and before the pair could yell for those outside to stop they already felt a gust of wind speed past them, They looked back at Nate and in shock and relief they sighed while Mike taking a seat and Ryan was quickly comforted by his Wife who was in tears.
Nate stood motionless as his brother held his head in his arms to calm him down, "It's okay bro, we're home." these words from Nick were enough to bring Nate back from his berserker state which upon doing so caused him to break down in tears and upon looking at his beat up father which he had caused made him hang his head in shame.
Much like his brother Nate was asked many question by his parents however he unlike his brother he was a lot less open to talking about it and much more ashamed.
All that mattered to the Evan's was that their son had finally returned to them and after a brief check-up and some discussion between Ryan and the Association President he was finally discharged, Nate could have never imagined what awaited him outside however.
