Chapter 60 - The Miracle of Love

Where Love Became History

Dark clouds rolled across the sky one after another, and thunder began to rumble over sky.

Inside the Louvre Abu Dhabi, the sound echoed through the museum's mysterious silence, as if every clap of thunder struck the marble walls and returned even louder.

A brilliant flash of lightning suddenly illuminated the sky.

Its white glow filtered through the intricate latticework of the museum's magnificent dome, flooding the galleries with light for a brief moment and that flash struck directly upon the faces of Ramish and Richer, before everything sank back into its soft, muted atmosphere in dim light.

Then another deafening crack of thunder split the air.

Richer startled instinctively.

Without thinking, he hurried toward Ramish and wrapped his arms tightly around him.

His eyes slowly closed, and he rested his face against Ramish's chest. Ramish could feel the rapid rhythm of Richer's heartbeat through the silence.

An unconscious smile appeared on Ramish's lips.

Gently, he placed a comforting hand around Richer's waist and slowly rubbed his back.

"There's nothing to be afraid of," he whispered softly. "I'm here with you."

After a few moments, when the thunder became quieter, Richer slowly stepped back and cleared his throat.

"I... I'm not scared."

Ramish raised an amused eyebrow.

"Oh? Really?"

"Yes... absolutely."

Richer had barely finished speaking when another violent crash of thunder shook the entire museum.

Boom!

Without a second thought, Richer immediately threw wrapped his arms around Ramish once again.

This time, Ramish couldn't stop laughing.

"I thought you said you weren't afraid."

Still hiding against Ramish's chest, Richer mumbled,

"I'm usually not afraid... but inside this museum, the thunder sounds much more frightening."

A moment later, Richer stepped back slightly and gave Ramish's chest a gentle, playful punch.

"First, stop laughing at me..." he said with pretend annoyance. "Otherwise, I'm not talking to you anymore."

Ramish smiled warmly.

"Alright... don't be upset."

Then he looked deeply into Richer's eyes and added softly,

"But somehow, I feel that nature itself wants you to remain in my arms... so I can keep surrounding you with all my love."

The words instantly brought a faint blush to Richer's cheeks.

He straightened himself and looked at Ramish with a teasing smile.

"If you really understand nature's signs," he asked, "then tell me... what does nature want from us?"

A gentle light appeared in Ramish's eyes.

"I think nature wants only one thing..."

He paused before smiling.

"It wants you to love me fearlessly. Without hesitation... without fear... just listen to your heart."

A soft smile spread across Richer's lips.

"Sometimes," he said with a quiet laugh, "I feel like you've earned a PhD in love."

Ramish laughed.

"Falling in love with you... isn't that worth more than a PhD?"

For a long moment, they simply looked into each other's eyes.

Then, suddenly, they both burst into laughter.

Their laughter echoed through the museum's silent corridors, blending beautifully with the fading sound of the thunder outside.

Still smiling, Richer said,

"Come on then, Mr. Lover... let's finally explore the museum."

Ramish grinned mischievously.

"You can call me whatever you like... but instead of 'Mr. Lover,' I think called 'my boyfriend' would suit me much better."

Before he could say another word, Richer quickly placed a hand over Ramish's lips.

"Shh..."

he whispered, pressing a finger gently against his own lips.

"Quiet..."

Then, with a shy smile, he slipped his hand into Ramish's.

"Come on..."

he said softly.

"Let's go inside."

Ramish looked into his eyes, smiled with quiet affection, and together they walked side by side into the mysterious galleries of the Louvre Abu Dhabi, their footsteps disappearing into the silence while the storm continued to sing above the magnificent dome.

The two of them walked slowly into the grand halls of the Louvre Abu Dhabi.

The moment they stepped inside, their eyes fell upon a magnificent sculpture standing proudly in the entrance hall.

Both of them stopped instinctively.

Ramish admired it in silence for a few moments before smiling.

"Richer...

This sculpture is truly beautiful."

Richer nodded gently.

"It really is."

As he spoke, he quietly reached for Ramish's hand.

Ramish turned to look at him.

With nothing more than a warm smile and a gentle glance, Richer silently said,

"Come on...

Let's go inside."

Hand in hand, they walked deeper into the museum.

The first gallery displayed ancient coins.

Large glass showcases held beautifully preserved gold, silver, and bronze coins from civilizations that had flourished centuries ago.

Richer studied them with fascination.

"Look, Ramish...

These coins are so beautiful... and incredibly rare.

What do you think?"

Ramish gave the coins only a brief glance before his eyes returned to Richer.

"For me...

the only thing truly beautiful and rare is you."

Richer laughed softly.

He gently turned Ramish's face back toward the display.

"I'm asking about the coins."

Ramish smiled with quiet affection.

"Gold...

Silver...

Diamonds...

Precious jewels...

Even all of them together could never compete with a single one of your smiles."

The smile on Richer's lips grew warmer.

"Why does every answer you give lead back to love?"

Ramish chuckled.

"Because my entire world is another name for love...

and that world is called Richer."

Richer lowered his gaze.

Together, they continued exploring the galleries.

Ancient Egyptian pottery, thousands-of-years-old tools, a model of a boat once used on the Nile River, mummy wrappings, Greek statues, sphinx figures, and countless remarkable sculptures from different civilizations surrounded them.

After observing one of the ancient exhibits, Richer spoke thoughtfully.

"Centuries have passed...

yet humanity has never stopped trying to preserve its memories."

Ramish looked at him with a gentle smile.

"But love...

lives even longer than memories."

Richer smiled quietly at those words.

Every gallery carried them deeper into the history of civilizations that had risen and faded with time.

Richer admired every artifact with genuine curiosity.

Meanwhile, Ramish often found himself watching Richer's expressions more than the exhibits themselves.

To him, Richer was more captivating than history itself.

After passing through several galleries, they entered the section dedicated to modern paintings and contemporary art.

Colorful masterpieces, dramatic lighting, and extraordinary works of imagination decorated every wall.

Ramish stopped before a breathtaking painting.

After gazing at it for a long moment, he spoke softly.

"Richer...

One day I want to make a portrait of you...

A portrait so beautiful...

That the whole world would say no face has ever been more beautiful than yours."

Richer smiled shyly.

"There are far more beautiful people in the world than me, Ramish."

Ramish immediately shook his head.

"Perhaps for the world...

But in my world...

You are the most beautiful person who has forever existed."

For several silent moments, Richer simply looked at him.

Then he asked in a quiet voice,

"Do I really look that beautiful to you?"

Ramish slowly stepped closer.

Only a few breaths separated them now.

He spoke almost in a whisper.

"Look into my eyes, Richer...

Do they look capable of telling you a lie?"

Richer tried to hold his gaze.

But he couldn't.

The depth of love shining in Ramish's eyes overwhelmed him.

Without another word, he stepped forward and wrapped his arms around him.

For a few precious moments, neither of them spoke.

No words were needed.

Only two hearts...

Holding a conversation that silence alone could understand.

After a while, Richer slowly lifted his head.

A gentle smile rested upon his lips.

"Ramish...

Shall we go?

Our final destination today...

The Viewpoint...

is waiting for us."

Ramish smiled warmly and nodded.

"Let's go."

Before leaving, they turned around one last time to admire the magnificent corridors of the Louvre Abu Dhabi.

Ancient civilizations...

Timeless masterpieces...

Silent marble walls...

And every unforgettable moment they had shared within them...

Had become a permanent part of their hearts.

They walked out of the museum hand in hand.

As the car slowly drove away, the Louvre disappeared into the distance.

Behind them remained a place where centuries of history had been carefully preserved...

and now, among those timeless civilizations, their love had quietly left its own story—

a story filled with shared smiles, joyful laughter, tender affection, and priceless memories that would live forever in their hearts.
