Hades heard the sound of wind swooshing around him and yet he didn't move. He simply tilted his head to the left and almost at once a sword pierced through the tree bark behind him. The impact was so violent that the blade buried itself deep into the trunk, causing splinters and fragments of wood to explode in every direction.
The sight of the beam that had been torn apart with the sword sticking out would have made anyone feel a shiver running down their spine to what could have been the situation of their current head. Had the attack landed, it would have pierced through flesh and bone with little resistance.
But Hades only looked at it while the man floated in the sky with his wide graceful white wings and his head that was a skull mask instead of a real head.
