Elwyn's POV,
I didn't expect Anna to recognize me so quickly. Her eyes were filled with shock and fear in the brief moment after I slapped her to the floor. Hearing her say my name, I slowly removed the hat from my head, then pulled off the mask, tossing both to the ground. My hair fell loose, revealing the face she hadn't seen in years.
"Anna, you're not bad," I said with a faint smile, my tone light but laced with sarcasm. "I thought it would take you a little longer to figure out who just taught you a lesson."
Anna couldn't say anything more, still clutching her cheek with a look of disbelief, her eyes wide in shock. She hadn't even managed to stand up yet, still sprawled on the floor. But from where I stood, I could see the anger beginning to spark in her eyes.
