Nathan shuddered as the heat from the magma bear penetrated his skin, he looked around hoping to find any teacher or authority to step in but there was nobody. They were quite away from the hall and only ordinary folks and some students that were filming the situation were around.
He steadied himself as his mind reeled on what to do. A bunch of pre-pubescent bastards, if this was my main world I would've beat the shit out of them already.
And he was right, unlike most 'main characters' that were either bullied highschool dweebs or some depressed office worker. Nathan in his last life was a fairly accomplished individual. He had the cliche background of being an orphan but that hardship was what drove him to hustle hard and succeed. He amassed wealth as a game reviewer and streamer and was well known within the fitness community as someone that would've had a proper career as a fighter.
It was one of the reasons he was so furious after he abruptly died in a car crash and transmigrated into the weak body of this Nathan cross.
"ROAR!!!"
A heat wave drove his mind back to reality as the magma bear roared.
"Whatcha thinking about dweeb!? How about you hurry up and show us that cute little bunny of yours!" Tyler jested as his rock hound circled around Nathan.
Nathan had tried to stay lowkey these past two months as he brushed up on the history of this world but these insistent low quality cliche bully goons always had to mess with him. He had believed that he wouldn't have to hold back anymore after getting a summon but right now, his bunny was just a weak household pet.
So instead he looked to himself and conjured up his own Character status panel;

Unlike summoned beasts, humans naturally awakened with two class-exclusive skills, gaining more through various ways as they leveled up. Their skills could also evolve into stronger variants over time.
Summoned beasts, however, gained only one new skill every ten levels and those skills could not evolve.
This was one of the hints within the Bunny Girls summoning system that Nathan noticed as Mirko already had three skills already, although they seemed weak, it definitely proved that her existence was special.
"Hah~" Nathan exhaled in a sigh. One skill can only be used with a bow and arrow at hand, so that leaves the other one…
Mana surged through his body before gathering around his eyes.
The moment Sharp Eyes activated, Nathan's vision sharpened dramatically.
Nathan had never suffered from poor eyesight before, but the difference was so overwhelming that he finally understood how people felt after putting on glasses for the first time.
The world felt sharper: the colour, the edges, the movements. Everything felt like his former sight was utter shit.
And within this new found sight were certain points of notice, with his focus enhanced, Nathan could now almost make out weaknesses in people… and their summoned beasts.
A plan formed in Nathan's head. If I time this right, maybe… just maybe.
At this moment Nathan stretched out his hand and summoned Mirko, the cute little pink eyed green bunny materialised on the floor right beneath his stretched out hand.
'Master! You called me again!' The Bunny's voice jolted into Nathan's head.
'Hey, don't be so loud' Nathan thought to reply but did not utter the words from his mouth.
'Okie dokie, master!' Mirko replied.
'Wait, you can hear me?' Nathan brows raised in surprise as he eyed the little bunny.
'Of course master, we have a proper mental link unlike those crude beasts and their masters' Mirko gestured at the Reid, Tyler and their summoned beats with a cute little twitch of her nose.
Nathan had a lot to question mirko, being able to converse with a summoned beast sentient enough to have constructive thoughts of its own was even more rare than humanoid summoned beasts. So he just steeled himself and focused on the plan he had concocted in his head.
"Hah! The Bunny king finally brings out his Invincible bunny!" Reid yelled. "Now. we can get this party started! Yeah?!"
'How confident are you at your attacks?'
Nathan questioned Mirko as they both stood their ground watching the encroaching magma bear with one eye and the circling rock hound with the other.
'Hah! If I was in my humanoid form these fools would not be able to touch me! But with this compact form? I'm not so confident, master.' Mirko replied as she turned to look up at him. 'But I can see, from your eyes, that you have a plan!'
At that moment, a grin slowly spread across Nathan's face.
As a former game reviewer, he couldn't deny the thrill rising inside him.
A fantasy-world summon battle?
This was practically a dream scenario.
'Well, Mirko my dear, I do, and you just have to trust me with your head'
