With a final greeting, Shawn led Daryl and the others out of the office in a grand manner.
They arrived at the main gate under the gaze of the residents along the way.
After saying 'Diana's orders,' they cleared the Walkers wandering outside the gate, drove the fire truck in through the main entrance, and parked it on the Community's road.
The red overlord was parked on the side of the road, but its almost 'wasteland-style' modified appearance made all the residents unable to take their eyes off it.
Whenever they passed by, they would always pretend to be nonchalant, taking the opportunity to take a few more glances.
Shawn then led Daryl and the others into the villa located inside the fire truck.
There was no movement from Diana's side, but when the sun set, Olivia came for a visit.
She was the person in charge of material resources in the Community, and she also collected weapons and specific statistical data for the Community.
She came to Shawn and the others for only one thing—to collect their weapons as well.
Looking at the timid Olivia outside the door, Merle, who opened the door, chuckled with amusement.
"You want to collect our weapons?"

Shawn played games until midnight, finally falling asleep at three in the morning.

Glancing at Merle and the others who were still snoring, he quietly walked out of the room, closed the door, and headed towards Diana's house.
Outside the white-painted villa, Shawn knocked on the door.
After about ten seconds, the bolt clicked, and Diana appeared before Shawn with faint dark circles under her eyes.
"You just came from outside yesterday; I thought you would sleep a bit longer," Diana said to Shawn.
Diana's expression, coupled with her tone, suggested that she hadn't slept all night and also wanted to talk to Shawn.
She wanted to invite Shawn into the house to sit down, but Shawn refused.
Shawn raised his hand and pointed to Diana's pajamas.
"Change into your casual clothes; I'm taking you out for a bit."
Shawn's words were somewhat sudden, but Diana still patiently asked,
"Is something wrong?"
"No, it's just something you must see."
"Of course, if you're worried, you can also call your people."
Shawn was direct and unreserved.
"Please wait, I'll go with you."
Diana hesitated for a moment but still turned and went upstairs to change into casual clothes.
Upstairs, via radio, she called Aaron and a black man named 'Heath.'

Aaron, Shawn had a deep impression of him.
He was the later recruiter for the Alexandria Community, responsible for wandering outside to find suitable people to join the Community.
In the original plot, Rick and the others, after wandering all the way to Florida, were discovered by Aaron, which led to their interaction with Alexandria.
'He is indeed a talent.'
Looking into Aaron's eyes, Shawn thought to himself.
However, after their hands met, Shawn quickly let go.
Because Shawn vaguely remembered that this guy seemed to be a 'man-slayer.'
Heath stood beside Aaron, somewhat uneasy.

After driving for less than 20 minutes, Shawn looked at the map and roughly determined the location of that area.
"Where exactly are we going?"
Diana sat in the passenger seat, turning her face to look at Shawn.
She noticed that this was the second time Shawn had taken a detour through here.
"Don't worry, we're almost there."
Shawn drove the car through a patch of jungle, and beyond the jungle, the first thing that came into view was the brightening sky.
Shawn stopped the car amidst gasps from the three, the wheels pressing against the edge of the cliff, grinding a few loose stones that rolled down.
"We're here."
A smile appeared on Shawn's face; he heard sounds that made him excited.
Diana and the other two cautiously followed Shawn out of the car.
As soon as they followed Shawn's gaze and looked forward, they saw a scene they would never forget!
The four of them looked into the distance; this was a quarry, as if a giant had stepped on it, leaving a deep, concave pit.
And at this moment, looking with the still faint blue sky, a vast, dark mass was swaying in the pit below.
If one looked closely, they would realize that these dark masses were actually Walkers, their low growls entering their ears with a slight clamor.
Upon seeing this scene, Diana's legs went weak, and she nearly slipped directly down the soft, sandy edge of the cliff.
Fortunately, Shawn reacted quickly, reaching out and pulling her back from certain death.
Diana was stunned for a long time, then suddenly, she turned her head and looked up at Shawn.
"What... what exactly are these?!"
Diana, of course, knew these were Walkers, but she didn't understand why they were appearing here in such large groups.
This quantity, heavens!
It was even enough to crush Alexandria, and then grind their not-yet-perfected high walls into dust with their teeth!
Deep pit, tide of corpses
Shawn was not surprised by Diana's reaction.
Because as far as the eye could see, there were at least thousands of Walkers, and even Shawn himself had never seen such a massive horde of corpses before.
