Nothing ever goes my way!
He wanted to fake his death.
Generic? Sure.
Pathetic? No doubt.
Smart? In his case, very much so.
He wanted to do that to get away from 'other' responsibilities, too. But that was too much pain to get done.
In this case, Reis didn't have to worry about national mourning, investors, a heartbroken family, etc., to fake a casualty. Because the one in question was someone who didn't even exist.
That was the grand plan he came up with after realizing he'd have to take the spotlight if he wanted to save his students. Make a shield, face the backlash, and disappear like planned. Only, this time, he'd be considered dead instead of becoming a criminal.
While it did hamper his other plan a bit, this had to be done. So he had decided to give Reis Lestis a grand closure…since the other choice was more miserable in his opinion.
Some grand plan that was.
"Brother…doctor! We need to get a doctor!"
"How do we get him out of here? What…"
