"Listen to me carefully, Sanchi."
Kabir's cold voice echoed inside the room.
Sanchi stood frozen in front of him, unable to understand why her heartbeat suddenly felt so loud.
Kabir loosened his tie slightly before speaking again.
"Neither of us wants this marriage."
His expression remained calm. Almost emotionless.
"I'm only agreeing because I need something from my family."
Sanchi frowned. "What do you mean?"
Kabir's dark eyes met hers.
"My ancestral mansion."
For a moment, silence filled the room.
Kabir continued calmly,
"My family will transfer the mansion to me only after I get married. That's the only reason I'm here."
Sanchi stared at him in disbelief.
Marriage.
The most sacred relationship in the world…
And for him, it was nothing more than a business deal.
Then suddenly, Kabir stepped closer.
"So let's make a deal."
"Deal?" Sanchi repeated weakly.
"Yes." His voice turned dangerously smooth. "We'll get married."
Sanchi's breath hitched.
"Only in front of the world," Kabir continued. "We'll act like husband and wife. Nothing more."
He paused before adding,
"In return…"
His gaze sharpened.
"I'll help you achieve your dream."
Sanchi's eyes widened slightly.
"I'll open your dance academy myself."
The words shook her completely.
For a second…
Her dream stood right in front of her.
But the next moment, anger exploded inside her.
"How can you say this so casually?" she snapped. "Do you even understand what marriage means?"
Kabir remained unfazed.
"Marriage means different things to different people."
"No!" Sanchi's voice trembled with emotion. "Marriage is not a joke, sir!"
Her eyes filled with tears.
"You think you can buy someone's life with money?"
Kabir's expression darkened slightly.
"I'm giving you an opportunity."
"And I'm rejecting it."
The answer came instantly.
"I would rather kill my dream than marry someone like you."
For the first time, something dangerous flashed in Kabir's eyes.
The room suddenly felt colder.
He stared at her silently for a few seconds before speaking again.
"Think carefully, Sanchi."
His voice was low.
"Opportunities like this don't come twice."
"Then let it go," she replied immediately.
Kabir looked at her for a long moment.
Then suddenly…
A mysterious smile appeared on his lips.
And that smile terrified her more than his anger ever could.
"You still don't understand me."
Sanchi frowned nervously.
Kabir slowly moved closer before whispering,
"You have fifteen days."
Her heartbeat stopped.
"W-What?"
"Fifteen days to accept this marriage willingly."
His cold eyes locked onto hers.
"Because on the sixteenth day…"
He paused deliberately.
"You will become my wife."
Sanchi's face turned pale.
Kabir straightened his coat calmly.
"With or without your permission."
And then…
He walked out of the room as if he hadn't just destroyed her entire world.
The moment the door closed, Sanchi collapsed onto the floor.
Her breathing became uneven.
Tears streamed endlessly down her cheeks.
"No…" she whispered shakily.
Her hands trembled violently.
She knew Kabir Raichand very well.
Once he decided something…
Nobody could stop him.
Nobody.
"Why are you doing this to me…?" she cried softly.
Her chest hurt unbearably.
"I hate you…"
More tears rolled down her face.
"How can I marry someone I hate so much?"
The thought alone suffocated her.
But deep inside…
Fear had already begun to consume her.
Because for the first time in her life…
Sanchi realized Kabir wasn't asking.
He was warning her.
