The Witch's Hut: A Secret Unveiled
Catherine burst through the door of Nana Esther's hut, her breath coming in ragged gasps. Nana Esther, who was already stirring a cauldron of bitter-smelling herbs, didn't even look up.
"He used the Lurog sa Damgo," Esther said, her voice gravelly. "The Dream-Lock. A classic Dalaketnon enchantment used to tether a soul to the spirit realm while the body remains a husk."
"How did you know?" Catherine asked, collapsing into a wooden chair.
"The wind carries the scent of stale magic and forest rot," Esther replied, finally turning around. Her eyes narrowed as she looked at her granddaughter. "To break it, you don't need a kiss, Catherine. You need a soul-tether. You need someone who can travel into the Dream-Fold and pull Jin Ae back."
"But who can do that?"
"A Gumiho," Esther whispered. "But not just any Gumiho. One who has touched the threshold of the Eighth Tail."
The Hospital: The Mayor's Shadow
Back at the hospital, the tension was thick enough to choke. Outside Jin Ae's room, the shadows began to stretch and warp. Two of the Mayor's men—assassins belonging to the Tamalanhig race—crept through the sterilized hallway. Their reddish skin was hidden beneath medical scrubs, but their leaf-shaped ears were tucked tightly under surgical caps.
Inside the room, Baekhyun felt a chill. His fox ears flickered, picking up the sound of rhythmic, unnatural breathing outside the door.
"They're here," Baekhyun whispered, his voice dropping an octave.
"I'll handle the hallway," Akihiko said, his golden tails flicking with lethal intent. "Ethan, stay with the girls."
"No," Baekhyun said, standing up. His aura began to expand, a brilliant white light that made the hospital's fluorescent bulbs hum and shatter. "I'm tired of hiding. If the Mayor wants a war, I'll give him one."
As the door burst open, Baekhyun didn't flinch. He lunged forward, his speed surpassing anything he had shown before. In the heat of the struggle, a phantom image of eight shimmering white tails erupted behind him, throwing the assassins back with a pulse of raw, celestial energy.
Heaven Entertainment: The Black Dove Strike
At the club, the light banter between Zac, Maverick, and Aidan was cut short. The three men in black suits—the Black Doves—stood up in unison, their chairs screeching against the floor.
"Aidan, we need to go," Zac said, his voice dropping its "fun" persona. "Now."
"What's wrong?" Aidan asked, his fairy wings fluttering invisibly beneath his shirt, sensing the shift in the air.
"Hunters," Maverick growled, drawing a collapsible baton.
The Black Doves didn't use guns. They pulled out obsidian daggers etched with anti-magic runes. One of them stepped forward, his eyes turning a milky white. "The fairy belongs to the Order. Step aside, Bellators, or be defiled."
"We're not Bellators," Zac said, his eyes glowing with the dark fire Kaito had gifted him. "We're the nightmare you didn't see coming."
THE CONTINUATION:
The Private Suite
The air in the private room at Heaven Bar was thick with the scent of expensive bourbon and something far more electric. Aidan slumped against the velvet cushions, his eyes glazed and a hazy smile tugging at his lips. He was past the point of protest; in this state, every suggestion felt like an invitation.
"Hey, buddy, you still with us?" Maverick asked, leaning in close. His voice was a low rumble that seemed to vibrate in Aidan's chest.
"Yeah... I'm fine. Thank you, sir," Aidan murmured. The formal "sir" slipped out effortlessly, a sign of how completely he'd surrendered to the moment.
Zac let out a dark, amused chuckle, glancing at Maverick. "I thought this mission was going to be a grind, but this? This is definitely a perk." He stood up, his fingers moving to the button of his jeans. "I know exactly what comes next."
As Zac stripped away the layers, Maverick followed suit, shedding his shirt to reveal a broad, muscular frame. Aidan watched them, mesmerized. The sight of them—powerful, looming, and focused entirely on him—made his breath hitch.
"You guys... you're so hot," Aidan whispered, his voice trembling with a mix of intoxication and desire.
"You want this, don't you?" Zac asked. He stepped closer, his hand trailing over the heavy silhouette visible through his briefs. Across from him, Maverick was down to his underwear as well, the tension in the room peaking as he mirrored the gesture.
Aidan's gaze darted between them, his hunger obvious. "Can I... can I taste both?"
The two men exchanged a smirk before reaching out. They guided Aidan's hands, letting him feel the heat and weight of them. Maverick let out a low groan. "Damn, your hands are smooth."
"Careful, baby boy," Zac warned with a playful edge. "Go too fast and I might lose it right here."
Aidan didn't need further instruction. He leaned forward, closing the distance with a boldness that caught them off guard. As he took Zac in, Maverick let out a ragged breath, looking down at the younger man. "How about me, Aidan? Don't leave me waiting."
The room seemed to shrink until there was nothing but the three of them. When Maverick finally felt Aidan's focus shift to him, he threw his head back. "God... this is heaven. They named this bar right."
Aidan pulled back just enough to look up at them, a mischievous spark in his eyes despite the haze. He shifted, turning to offer himself to them in a way that left no room for misunderstanding.
"Can you handle both of us at once?" Zac asked, his voice dropping an octave.
Aidan didn't answer with words—he simply gave a slow, deliberate wink.
"Your wish is my command," Zac whispered, moving in to claim what was offered. As he pushed forward, a sharp, breathless moan escaped Aidan, muffled only by Maverick's presence as the room faded into a blur of heat and sensation.
The Siren's Song and The Great Escape
In the dim light of her grandmother's cottage, Catherine watched as Granny Esther pulled a weathered volume from a locked drawer.
"Catherine, I know you want to save Jin Ae, but this is beyond a witch's normal reach," Granny said, her voice heavy. "A Dalaketnon curse is ancient. It cannot be broken unless the one who cast it decides to take it back."
"But there has to be another way, Granny!" Catherine pleaded.
Granny Esther sighed, laying the book on the table. "This is the Book of Secrets—or at least, a faithful copy of the original. I was its guardian once, before I led this coven."
"But I'm not ready for that kind of responsibility," Catherine whispered, stepping back.
"I took over this coven at a younger age than you, Catherine," Esther said firmly. "You have two months. Then, you return to me to begin your training. For now, look at this." She pointed to a passage of shimmering ink. "A Dalaketnon's curse can be unraveled by the song of a Siren."
"A mermaid?" Catherine asked, confused. "Where would we even find one?"
"Not just a mermaid, dear. There are humans born with the voice of the sea—the children of a union between human and folk. As the new leader of our coven, you must find them yourself. Trust your heart to lead you."
Meanwhile, at the Hospital...
Panic surged through the room as Ethan, Aki, and Baekhyun watched Jin Ae. Dark, thorny vines were beginning to sprout from her skin, crawling slowly up from her feet toward her heart.
"What is happening to her?" Baekhyun cried.
"The curse is taking root," Aki said, his hands glowing with a soft light. "Let me try to slow it down." But the moment his palms touched Jin Ae's forehead, a violent shockwave threw him back.
"Aki!" Ethan shouted.
"My healing... it's not working," Aki gasped, clutching his chest. "The curse is feeding on my energy. It's growing faster!"
Just then, Jasmine burst into the room, her face pale and her breath coming in ragged gasps. "They're coming! We have to go!"
"Slow down, Jasmine. Who is coming?" Ethan asked, steadying her.
"The Mayor," she choked out. "He's ordered his men to kill us. I overheard it at the nurse's station—they're on this floor!"
"I'm here!" Catherine's voice rang out as she sprinted into the room. "I know how to save her. We need a Siren's song."
Before they could ask how, a sharp knock startled them. A nurse slipped into the room, her eyes darting to the hallway. "You need to move. Now. You're all in danger."
"Why are you helping us?" Ethan asked, suspicious.
The nurse looked him dead in the eye, her expression shifting into something familiar. "It's me, Ethan. Inspector Red—Christine. Do you remember?"
"But... your face?" Aki stammered.
"I'm borrowing this body! Now quit the interrogation and move!" Christine hissed. "Use your powers. Create an illusion to mask Jin Ae. The Mayor's men are only human—your tricks will work on them. Go through the back door!"
The Eighth Tail
The air in the private room was thick and stifling. Maverick's breath came in ragged hitches as he reached his limit. "I'm close—Aidan, I'm so close!" He didn't hold back, his voice straining as he finally gave in to the heat, a low groan escaping him as he filled Aidan with a sudden, searing warmth.
Aidan let out a soft, shuddering breath, his eyes fluttering. "It feels... so warm inside..."
Above him, Zac was just as breathless, his movements becoming frantic. "Don't stop now, good fairy," he hissed, his fingers tangling in Aidan's hair. "Eat every drop." With a final, forceful surge, Zac reached his peak, and Aidan didn't flinch, swallowing every bit of the salt-tinged heat as if it were an offering.
"You're such a slut, good fairy," Maverick whispered, leaning down to press a final, sweaty kiss to Aidan's forehead. "You were perfect."
Exhausted and overwhelmed by the haze of the night, Aidan's eyes drifted shut. He slumped back against the velvet couch, falling into a deep, heavy sleep.
"Good job, boys," a cold, smooth voice rang out from the shadows. "Now... it is time for me to recover my tails."
Maverick and Zac froze. They turned instantly, dropping to their knees in a practiced, fearful motion. "My Lord," they said in unison, bowing their heads low.
Kaito stepped into the light, a predatory smile stretching across his face. He didn't spare a glance for his loyal soldiers; his eyes were fixed entirely on the unconscious Aidan. Without a word, he leaned over the couch and sank his teeth into the soft skin of Aidan's neck.
Zac flinched as he watched a crimson ribbon of blood spill across the white fabric of the sofa. "Aidan!" he gasped, his protective instincts warring with his loyalty.
As Kaito drank, a shimmering light began to swirl around him. A massive, ethereal tail began to sprout from his lower back, glowing with a fierce, dangerous energy.
"The eighth tail," Maverick whispered, his eyes wide.
When Kaito finally pulled away, he licked the blood from his lips and let out a manic, echoing laugh. He raised a hand, his claws extending as he prepared to deliver a killing blow to the sleeping fairy.
"Kaito-sama, stop!" Maverick cried out, moving to block him. "Remember what Calista warned you! If you kill the creature that gave you your tail, the power will vanish. Your tails will wither away."
Kaito paused, his hand trembling just inches from Aidan's throat. The memory of Calista's voice surfaced—cold and certain: "Their souls are bound to your power, my lord. If they die, our sacrifices are for nothing."
With a frustrated snarl, Kaito lowered his hand, the eighth tail swaying triumphantly behind him.
Meanwhile, at the Mansion...
Calista sat in the dim library, her fingers tracing the ancient symbols in the Book of Secrets. Suddenly, the pages began to glow, reflecting a vision of a dark room and a man with eight glowing tails.
"He has it," Calista murmured, her voice devoid of emotion. "The eighth tail is his."
Daisuke stepped out from the shadows, his expression grim. "Then it's true. He only needs one more." He looked at the book, then back at Calista. "To get his ninth and final tail... he will have to face your son."
