Chapter 94 - Updated: Chapter 4 Trainee Training

The international situation is becoming increasingly tense, with friction between several major powers gradually escalating. The standoff between the two superpowers is also more intense. Every country is continuously preparing for war, war preparedness! No one can say exactly when it started to change like this. The whole human society is in a state of inexplicable panic. No one knows which gunshot will announce the official arrival of the cosmic war.

Miloke's troop assembly and various pre-war preparations are still being conducted intensively. The economy of the Leray Federation is beginning to show its strength, with over seventy percent of businesses manufacturing military products. Orders from the Military Department are being converted into weapons and equipment distributed to the hands of soldiers.

The Gallipalan Military Academy also bears its mission in this grand era.

The Leray Federation's Military Academy is under the jurisdiction of the Military Department. Regardless of what the students did before, whether they are battle-hardened warriors or greenhorn brats, as long as they can pass the entrance exam to the Military Academy, they all become reserve officers. After passing the graduation assessment, they will truly enter the army and become grassroots commanders.

The instructors at the academy are even more diverse. There are ordinary professors teaching cultural courses, researchers within the military establishment, grassroots officers serving as instructors, and even high-ranking generals as professors.

The rebuilding Gallipalan Military Academy dropped a bombshell by announcing that the courses "Military Command" and "Detailed Analysis of Strategic Deployment" would be taught by the renowned General Russell. This news was enough to make all the students go wild with joy.

Taking this opportunity, the Military Department not only transferred back all former professors but also dispatched professors from other academies to increase the teaching staff, sparing no effort to create a cradle of military geniuses with rich combat experience and star-studded faculty!

When the war broke out, many excellent military profession professors had already become commanders at all levels in the army, from Colonels to Generals. Now returning to teach, their combat experience and military rank were unmatched by professors from other academies.

As some students said, even if these professors casually brought some scraps from the battlefield to brag about, it would be fascinating and mesmerizing to hear.

Applicants to the Gallipalan Military Academy were like schools of fish crossing the river. One group was the elite young people or grassroots soldiers of the Leray Federation starting systematic learning from scratch. Another group was the outstanding students and grassroots officers from other academies. These students had almost completed all courses, many even earning enough credits to graduate. The grassroots officers were mostly graduates from various military schools, specially selected by the Military Department to further their studies at Gallipalan, to become backbone grassroots commanders in the upcoming Galileo Star System campaign.

Tian Xingjian's new recruit training camp not only included new students but also these seasoned troops. This was the most complex and highest quality batch of students in Gallipalan's history.

Standing at the No. 9 training ground of the mechanical repair training camp, Fatty couldn't help but secretly be thankful that he was only responsible for guiding mechanical repair, while their other basic training was handled by a Major named Hanke.

Obviously, the rank determined the duties assigned in this training camp. Fatty was very pleased to retreat from the frontline. While the students were conducting routine drills, he leisurely watched the Special Forces training camp on the same training ground.

Gallipalan had a dozen training grounds, along with more than twenty large and small exercise yards and gyms. These were still not enough to meet the needs of concentrated training for these students. The ninth training ground was very large. Out of sensible allocation and full usage of resources, the Special Forces training camp and mechanical repair training camp were arranged together.

These academy training camps were different from the army; their main goal was not to select talents in these fields but to meet the teaching requirements of various departments. So, not everyone in the repair camp was suited for mechanical repair, nor was everyone in the special camp fitted to become Special Forces soldiers.

Fatty was laughing.

Among the students in training, a few were obviously seasoned Special Forces soldiers, easygoing during training. The worst off were the new recruits just entering the military academy. Unlike real Special Forces, they were lucky if they could be considered a bunch of forced special ducks.

The Special Forces team staggered past Fatty. Their individual weapons and loose marching packs slapped against their behinds. Pale-faced and blue-lipped, each looked ready to collapse and be paralyzed completely.

Some guys' pants were almost falling down, pulling them up while running. Others had their clothes twisted around, equipment straps in a tangled mess. Some even had their weapon belts tied in a manner resembling queen straps, tied so tight as if in an SM-style bondage, choking themselves.

Fatty tearfully wiped his eyes. He had forgotten what he looked like during training in the Reconnaissance Camp. Thinking back now, he truly missed his rookie days.

These clueless students always had a kind of romantic heroism. Special Forces – what a proud title. Being able to complete training in such a camp and wearing the Special Forces graduation badge would make these young rookies heroes in the eyes of equally young girls.

But these so-called heroes' pitiful appearances would make people want to cry. They probably weren't ready to become top-notch soldiers yet. No one could gain praise and admiration without hard work, and behind the Special Forces badge were countless instances of rigorous training.

The most amusing to Fatty was a group of female students. It's not that there were no female Special Forces; it's just their training methods and tasks were very different from male Special Forces. The academy only had male Special Forces camps. These female students, for some reason, insisted on joining this camp, which was completely disadvantageous for them, wasting effort and energy.

The instructors didn't care about gender. They followed a standard training program, practicing intensely regardless.

The girls obviously didn't anticipate such brutal training. Crying as they ran, the entire team wailing, their cries rising and falling melodiously. The Special Forces instructor beside them was sweating bullets from their tears. He gritted his teeth, deciding to drill them even harder until they passed out and fell silent.

Fatty clutched his stomach, laughing madly on the ground.

Human hatred is easily guided. The Special Forces instructor was already irritated. Seeing a Lieutenant in the mechanical repair training camp laughing to the point of rolling on the ground, he was both exasperated and amused. Gritting his teeth, he decided to betray his comrade, shouting to the students, "Look! See how he laughs at you. A person has their dignity. Keep your spirits up, don't be wimps!"

Hatred was successfully redirected. Countless pairs of angry eyes glared at the fatty rolling on the ground like a dying fish.

Both male and female students cursed in their hearts, "Fatty! Just you wait!"
