The darkness cleared, and light appeared in front of me. For a fraction of a second, my eyes remained careful before they turned alarmed.
Formations lit up in my armor, and they moved to stop me from going any further.
It took less than a fraction of a second, but it felt like minutes. I stopped, with a spatial rift only an inch away from me. If I hadn't stopped on time, I would have split into two by the rift.
I have heard about people dying from it, but it is the first time I have experienced something like this.
I had just felt relieved when I felt the soul sense on me.
'Grimm!' I thought. Feeling the power, I felt scared. I wouldn't have if it is a normal rune without any peculiarities, but it's become difficult with them.
It sensed me, and the Grimms came a few seconds later. Not the one that sensed me, but a different one.
