it only took us about a few minutes of riding the wagon heading back to the Village it was starting to become night. I have the workers started to unload the logs from the wagon I began making my way to what seems to be the more Better Built frame of a house. meaning of the people looked exhausted Jack walked up to a wagon and stood up to be above everyone. and you would Shout with Charisma.
" okay everyone I would say that's enough work for today get some rest we're a long way of building ourselves a proper homes but you all did amazing progress for this first day will be done in no time. I wish you all sweet dreams I'll be staying up for a bit to stand guard. any going to want to to take the first shift of the watch go to your posts and when you're about to pass out after four hours. go wake up one of your buddies to take your place."
everyone seems to cheer and a group of guards mixed with my Bandits or I guess they're no longer benefits they're just guards now. move to their post and even some of the other guards seem to pass out near the guard post anyway. many of the people immediately went to bed me however I walked over towards the path we took to get to and from the forest. I couldn't see any life force coming from any living creatures coming from it after we left feeding the Goblins were coming here at least. but I was worried about there being a small hoard. as I close my eyes to stop focusing on the outside world light begins flashing in my mind. the first flag happen as soon as I close my eyes and then faded Back to Black then after 3 seconds another white Flash again if a little black but this time it was two seconds the process repeated again but it was one second before it remained white that last time. I saw a strange white figure among the field of black it looks a bit human at least in height. but kneeling before it what do you need to be in Fork gobbling and some giant spiders. after a few seconds of wondering what was happening I Heard a Voice coming from the figure that seems to be the one standing.
" my loyal Monsters you have served me well I grant you your freedom and the right to live your life the way you wish on another continent so my kingdom will never affect you alive."
after those words a strange purple Aura came out of the monsters would seem to be chains around them that I noticed seem to break off them. did this figure binded these creatures to its will. as the figure looked away I saw its eyes they were crimson red just like mine and my protegerse. and I saw what seemed to be his mouth it seem like normal teeth but with two in-law gated Fang. if this figure be a vampire and could this binding be something I could do. I would only be able to know that for certain if I try it against a creature but then everything stayed back to black as I Heard a Voice that's familiar it was a woman's voice. not just any woman but the one I saved.
" hey wake up big guy it's already morning and how the hell did you sleep standing up!?!?"
I started to laugh from these words which seems to caught her off-guard as I opened one eye.
"now who said I was asleep to begin with?"
I said this was a smile and I was playfully poking at her but then she whispered into my ear which caught me off guard.
" I would have to say me because you know you couldn't Outlast me in bed"
my face went to a pink blush I was so confused why she chose to put it like that but it did make me blush regardless. I heard one of the bandits start shouting.
" come on guys it's time to work I would like to sleep on a nice bed instead of the ground break soon!!."
everyone in the village started laughing like everyone else didn't want that. everyone started moving around as I started moving my neck side to side my body was a bit stiff. so I wondered what that was cuz that be a dream or was that a vision. if the old hag Elsa was still alive she could probably tell me. though she was the least-liked in my Village back when I was human she was still very knowledgeable about magic and the arcane. I look towards the forest again but this time I focus to my eyes using my enhanced site to my advantage I couldn't see any lifesigns besides the animal. meaning either one of the size of the Goblins kill each other or something bigger killed them. either way that was the potential of a small horde at least for the moment dealt with. it's my eyes went back to normal I want towards the village with a smile people had already seem to be putting up logs to start to build walls of the Town Hall and as well they seem to find plenty of stone I wondered where they got that from as one of the caravan leaders walked up to me with a smile on his face.
" well sir Jack I'll be happy to tell you we found a cave close to the cliff about a five-minute walk away from it to the left when you cross the river. after when the scouts told me about it. I had people immediately start to mine Stone though it probably only be enough to finish the town hall for now but that was still being a building built the first of many."
I placed my hands onto his shoulder and I had a very genuine Smile as I would speak.
" great job my friend have some people still continue to mine Stone and have a small group of guards outfitted with short swords wooden Shields and leather armor meet me out towards the path to head to the forest. and make sure to give the Centre up on top of the Cliff face the order to engage any group of monsters coming towards the village or who people seem to Bandits. I'm going to clear out the forest of any monsters like Cobalts or goblins or at least figure out where they're based. so when we are ready we can get rid of them eventually."
his eyes widened as he just heard my orders but he didn't know it and started going throughout the village telling people do I shouted towards the man again.
" oh yeah almost forgot make sure a small group of guards guard the entrance to the cave at least two guards the company the miners that way they can protect them if they can't find any large Cavern that may contain monsters!!."
as I started this he seems to nod and begins going throughout the village even more giving orders as the girl I saved whose name is Lula Smiles at me.
" well I guess I should start calling you your highness or lordship considering you're taking him and quite effectively. inhale maybe you'll get lucky and have a lady or queen for yourself."
she said that's a little small Giggle and walked away I began heading back to the road that led to the forest tapping my feet. as I heard footsteps I look behind with one eye I saw a group of about 30 men. all equipped with the things I said to be equipped with and with a smile I called out to them.
" you know what your task is for today or do I have to say it?!?"
and to my surprise all simultaneously all them shouted.
" NO SIR!!"
and with a smile I started walking towards the forest the men marching behind I noticed now all of them had swords some of them had bows which I did smile as because they did Cover range. as we March towards Forest I use my vampiric eyes to look ahead to see if I could see anything out of ordinary why already soft as more things came into my vision I saw the bodies of the goblin still alive judging from how their veins are moving. but I saw the group of 15 were about 25 now. as I thought about it the smallest horde reported ever in history was about a hundred goblins. though it was mainly comprised of Green Goblin. with very few bugbears and hobgoblins amongst them. so I didn't know what the compilation would be of this Ford if there was one but I figured they would mostly be Green Goblin's since that's the main Goblin species in this region. you know that I took the time to think about it I didn't like how I pulled so many people from protecting the village. do my protege is still there so I don't have to worry about much. within an hour of marching we reached the forest I looked out over the soldiers and I would speak.
" I want people in groups of five spreading out. if you see any monsters fall back and go find another group and start Gathering everyone up. I will be going on my own now move out."
everyone listened and start moving out groups of five since there was 30 people there were six groups. I am however began moving towards where I saw the goblins yesterday. I move at the fastest Pace I could. and within a few seconds I was there in that same field as I look around what's my vampiric site. I didn't see anything immediately like caught my eye until I noticed there was a cave near the clearing. I began making my way to the cave seeing that now I was starting to see energy of life within the cave and their veins and how they move in soon just like the goblins from before. I waited there for the few moments while thinking.
" okay let's see i could turn into bats. Scout them out to see how many they are or I can just go ahead and kill them."
and as I was thinking my thoughts are broken as I saw a small spear flying towards me I jumped back to dodging.
" looks like killing it is"
