Suddenly, streaks of light pierced through the darkness, followed by a great illumination.
Gutas slowly regained consciousness from his faint, opening his eyes to see Richard holding a candlestick in front of him. Upon realizing Gutas had awakened, he moved the candlestick aside and sat down on a chair nearby, looking down at Gutas from above, making him extremely uncomfortable.
Then Gutas noticed more things that made him feel uneasy, such as his hands and feet being tightly bound by ropes, his entire body lying on the ground in an awkward posture, almost unable to move.
Damn it!
Gutas cursed in his mind, but at that moment, he had already figured out some things. He turned his head to look at Richard sitting on the chair and said with a resentful gaze, "You're not a wizard, just a wizard apprentice, aren't you?!"
"Oh?" Richard raised an eyebrow, looking at Gutas. "Why do you say that?"
