" Rebecca Quin, it's 7 am",the great Wizard of Oz clock spoke simultaneously. Disturbing the owner's sleep as it kept wriggling on the reading table.
The great Wizard of Oz clock was placed on a table beside a lamp. The room was small but looked comfy, the sun shining brightly pierced through the small window and Shone directly on the mirror glued to a wardrobe which reflected on Becca's cute chubby white and messy face.
It was a small room painted blue and pink. The chubby damsel lay on a cranky bed covered with blue sheets and pink comforters around her. The lady looked like she wasn't ready to quit her slumber.
On the walls of the room were pictures of different models and some cosmetic calendars which displayed models too.
A compact shelf held a thoughtfully arranged display of novels spanning multiple genres, accompanied by a trophy.
The second tier featured a kaleidoscope of sneakers and canvas designs, adding a pop of color to the space. The final row showcased a chic collection of heels and sandals, perfectly completing the display.
The lady in bed groaned as she turned left and right several times before finally opening her eyes to reality.
" Oh God! , it's morning already", the girl cursed and dashed into the bathroom. She sighed when she saw the drool on her face. " Urgh!"
The lady quickly washed up and rinsed before coming out of her small bathroom.
After drying off, she applied a rich body lotion, followed by a subtle, neutral makeup look. Slipping into a fitted, strapless gown that showcased her stunning curves.
In a flurry of efficiency, Rebecca zapped her leftover soup and rice in the microwave and ate with haste. Her mind was preoccupied with the impending meeting, courtesy of Jennie's introduction. The wealthy client remained a mystery, but Rebecca's anticipation grew. As she locked her condo door, she checked her watch and quickened her pace, determined to catch her cab within the tight timeframe.
As the taxi hurtled through the streets, the 23-year-old passenger remained lost in thought. Meanwhile, the driver's gaze was glued to her, his mind whispering, "Breathtaking." With difficulty, he wrenched his attention back to the road, his eyes darting periodically to the rearview mirror.
Rebecca's eyes welled up with tears as she thought about the numerous job applications she'd submitted, the countless interviews she'd attended, and the endless rejections she'd faced. But now, thanks to Jennie's help, she finally had a foot in the door. She took a deep breath, trying to calm her racing heart, and sent a silent prayer of gratitude to the universe. "Thank you, Jennie," she whispered, her voice trembling with emotion. "I won't let you down."
** Ring Ring **
Becca hesitated, "Oh no, umm... Hello?" as she took in Jennie's name flashing on her screen before accepting the call.
Jennie's voice was laced with frustration. "Becca, where are you? You were supposed to be here 10 minutes ago!"
"You're already late. I told you this meeting was crucial."
