Mr. Weird interrupted my lunch date with GG with a letter from his boss. He was to be my bodyguard till the current situation blows over. I have a running price on my head. Each one is trying to put me in the morgue in their unique way. I have to return to New York before things out of hand. So I waved him off respectfully. He seemed offended that I was showing no interest. He waited till we were done and followed us to my estate.

He talked my charges and they seemed skeptical. Gordie asked Magenta (Agnes, a CIA agent who owes Gordie many favors) to investigate him well and thoroughly. She promised to have answers within the hour. She sent her report and a family hearing began. Everyone wanted the new guards to look after me as well as the old. I explained that I am going to Aspen with Arden (James Goldberg, an ex-boyfriend my family seemed to adore), they seemed to like the idea. They volunteered to chaperone us. This seemed to annoy Weirdo, but he kept his temper under control.
