*** I was bored and suddenly wrote this on an impulse. Or maybe because I get weird story ideas when I get high for some reason. I was inspired by Pokemon Jordinio , and decided, eh, why not?

What would be your first emotion if you wake up in the middle of a forest, when you remember going to a comfy bed in your room the previous night?
Panic, fear, anxiety and absolute cluelessness.
I have never even gone camping, so my reactions can be said to be pretty valid. I questioned out loudly, " Is this a prank? A reality tv show? Where are the cameras?" But nobody answered my questions.
My existential crisis couldn't last long as I was in the middle of nowhere, and absolutely defenseless.
I jumped to my feet with a panicked yell, "Don't mess with me!" Unsurprisingly, there was still no response. I observed the area for any life forms. That's when I noticed my outfit and the red-white balls on my hips which forced me to come to the conclusion, I'm in the Pokemon world yo!
My inner Pinkman is showing heh.Well, that's the logical conclusion.
Or, maybe some twisted bastard has kidnapped my ass, and abandoned me in a forest, also decided to play a prank by tying this bag and pokeballs to me, which seems quite unlikely. Nobody has that much free time.
I was a nerd in my previous life so I clearly knew about Pokemon, not to mention I used my coding and designing skills to modify some of the roms.
Ah..... I miss The good old days! Where the ev, iv, and other stuff didn't matter, and everyone just played for fun, rather than trolling people with stats and being toxic for poor Pokemon choices .
I even merged all the games to create a complete journey of all the regions, along with better game mechanism and graphics. It had all the pokemons in it from Gen 1 to 9, and I made a decent team focusing on my favorite types.
Best part of it was, the shiny ratio was 100:1 only. Who doesn't love getting a shiny without the grindfest ! It was a pet project of mine which I made for myself initially but thought to release it eventually. But it looks like that might never happen, myself getting isekai'd and all.
Back to the current situation, I took one of the pokeballs and threw it , half expecting it be empty, but a small black and blue Pokemon hopped out with a cheerful cry. It started sniffing around, and suddenly rushed at me tackling me to the ground and started biting my hand gently.
Unknowingly, a smile came to my face as the affectionate small dragon was quite cute despite his scary nature . This was my Pokemon! Uh, Why are my eyes getting wet?
Must be raining.
I got down and rubbed his head, then gently spoke, 'we can play later Deino. Let's meet our other friends.'
Deino protested with a bark as I patted him and stood up. I released all the pokemons inside the balls and five pokemons appeared and started chattering.
They noticed me and all of them jumped at me starting to lick and snuggle with me. It seems even though I'm meeting them for the first time, they are very friendly to me.
Perhaps whoever sent me to this world tinkered with their psyche a bit. Because almost all of their species are aggressive to strangers. Not to mention super rare.
I had a pokedex in my pocket which I took out and scanned all of them. My eyes twitched violently as I saw their stats

It seems the hacked rom I made with new abilities for different species is at work. Even the new Hydreigonite mega stone ! All according to keikaku!

I have to change my laugh. Having affinity with dark, and ghost type mostly seems to be causing me to be a bit darker. Meh, not like I'm in DC.
By the way, did I mention I have a hidden affinity for Dragon types ? I guess that's why I am thinking I might be the protagonist of some weird dude's fanfic. Bro has really stacked me up. The handsome face is a bonus on top.

Thankfully I'm not slender jade beauty or named Long Aotian, that would be messed up. My wrist strength wasn't built for face slapping. Anyway, kinda getting sidetracked here.
Oh yeah, this world has different settings from the anime and games. Here, when you are 10, you get tested.
Not for std or Aids you weirdos, for pokemon affinity types. Unless you don't have affinity for specific types, it's very hard to raise pokemon, not to mention if you try to raise a Hydreigon when you have fairy type affinity is pure bankruptcy wish!
Not to mention it's not very practical for even rich dudes. Your strength and growth falls and you will lag behind everyone which nobody likes. People can have multiple affinities and some have the normal affinity which is a jack of all trades , but those are actually not worth it.
Basically you get a 5% growth bonus for all types rather than the 20% for a single type. Those things can be brutal for poor trainers. Even with single affinity, you can barely become a gym trainer, and atleast earn a stable living.
But this world seems to have its own dark side. Not the kids friendly pg-13 show. Here you get training license when you are 16 and able to support at most 3 pokemons expenses with basic trainer income. The death rate is higher than 20% for new trainers, and 10% for experienced trainers.
There is the alliance sponsorship , team rocket, galactic, flare etc. , The family sponsorship, and corporate sponsorship.
You must have one of their support, otherwise you are doomed to fail. Even with sponsors, training pokemons to get to league caliber is no joke! Pokemon has their potential and growth limit.
For example: Even A low grade potential pseudo legendary can easily reach level 60, where a normal pokemon with same potential can reach level 50 barely with twice the resources .
An average potential normal pokemon can reach level 60 with resources, and peak potential can reach level 70 at most , also known as champion rank.
Pseudo legendary species and some other stong species like Charizard, Rhyperior, electivire, Snorlax, Alakazam , most dragon, Ghost and steel types etc. can reach upto level 70 with average potential and level 80 with peak potential .
Other species usually never reach this level, but there are always exceptions.
Then comes the tricky part, the master rank, which is above level 80. To reach that, not only species strength, but also bond between trainer and pokemon are necessary. With every threshold of leveling, pokemons undergo a significant power growth.
Pokemon ranks
1-10 level = Rookie
11-20 level = Trainee
21-30 level = Expert
31-40 level = Professional
41-50 level = Ace
51-60 level = Gym leader
61-70 level = Elite
71-80 level = Champion
81-90 level = Master
90- 99 level = Guardian( totem pokemon, Pseudo legends, low blood legendary like Kanto birds and the ho oh trio can reach it )
100- 100+ level = Legendary (full blooded legendary like Dialga, Palkia, Kyurem etc can only reach it)

I seem to have been sponsored by my family, being the only son of our family has its own perks. My family seems to own a chain of Malls and restaurants along with Pokeblock businesses, so they were loaded. As being a trainer is quite dangerous, why would spoiled a rich kid risk it all!
That's why very few kids became trainer from the rich business families. Trainer families on the other hand produce exceptional trainers every generation as they hold political influence through strength.
My family although not a super rich family like Steven Stone, got me Deino and a shiny Charmander as starters. Charmander as my official starter, and Deino was bought after my pleading when I performed my special move. Edward used grovel and fake tears on his parents!

When I expressed my desire for a dragon pokemon, my parents bought Deino for 50 million poke dollars which cost them a mall . This was shocking for me.
A peak grade pseudo legendary can cost you that much which is a dream for most trainers who never earn that sum . Not to mention without the proper connections, you won't even get a chance to pick such top grade pokemon.
My data shows I captured the rest on my journey conveniently. But my Honedge is seriously broken! With wonder guard and the stance change when it evolves, it will become almost invincible. Not to forget Deino with Moxie and Protean!

The alliance guys didn't explain much and it looked like they were hiding some stuff. My aunt took me to her home after a month when all my inheritance went to my bank officially and it could not be transferred without my legal guardian present and legal consent.
So despite the emotional trauma, I basically became Bruce Wayne lite, maybe I'll go after those fuckers with a vengeance wearing a bat costume just for kicks.

I checked my surroundings and called back my Pokemons to start following the map to pewter city. Guess I'm in Kanto now. Now the big question, what timeline is this?
Hopefully not Ash's era . Things were pretty shitty with chaos after chaos. Not to mention I don't want to bully the poor kid, his life is already hard enough.
As for gyms, I can easily beat Brock and Misty with my current team but Surge could be a problem. I'm confident against Sabrina as I'm her natural counter.
Erica is meh, Koga can be dealt with as long as I have speed, Blaine would be a problem as I don't have a water type.
Giovanni, well , he is a different story depending on Mewtwo . Let's cross that bridge when it's time.
After figuring out the way, I started walking towards the next city, which was Pewter city. I guess this must be the famous Viridian forest. Surprisingly, no bug catcher around to challenge me. That's way more unbelievable than getting isekao'd in the Pokemon world somehow.
After reaching Pewter city, I went to the pokemon center and healed my team, then walked through the city to explore. Funny thing, I walked towards the mall to get some clothes but something caught my eye.
A seller who was being ridiculed by some folks for trying to scam them. I checked it out.
Turns out, people are trying to beat him up for selling them fake golden carps. He painted regular magikarp golden and said it was shiny.
Hahaaha! Classic scam !
I laughed at his attempt but suddenly my eyes focused on a magikarp that was basically still, on the corner of the aquarium.
He wasn't moving much and looked rather depressed. For some reason, I felt like taking him with me.
I went to the seller and and pointed , how much is that one? Everyone looked at me like I'm stupid while the seller said pitifully," they aren't real shiny Sir. You still want it?"
I smiled and gave him 100 poke dollars, to which he thanked me profusely and captured that magikarp with a net, who looked at me curiously now. Then it went back to it's depressed mood.
Heh, these guys didn't notice that this one was an actual shiny Magikarp. Their loss I guess. I caught the poor fish with a spare poke ball and left the area amidst the ridicule of others. I'll be back with my red Gyarados and hyper beam ya'll someday.
I guess That's how my journey began officialy in this insane world of Pokemon!
