Chapter 172: World Heroes Mission Arc (3)
~Ren Y. POV~
[Morning, Otheon, Shanty Town, Europe]
It was the next morning, and I was walking with Shoto, Izuku, and Bakugo, carrying bags of food and supplies. I received text messages from Oracle telling me they managed to rescue Alan Kay.
Hiding my smirk, I was ecstatic to learn the news. Not only that, but Oracle managed to locate the Servino and Gillino Family locations, meaning I have the chance to nip the fourth movie plot for good.
Not only that, but a lot of powerful Quirks are also to be gained from this little trip. Gentle Man and Oracle deserve a reward after this.
It was a pain to level Gentle up and increase his stats, especially his INT stats. But he managed to do it, becoming a Pro Hero, albeit an unknown one, not for long, thanks to his help.
He'll surely be remembered as the man who helped save the world from the Humarise terrorist attack… for about a few weeks. That's just the reality of this situation about humans and hero politics.
Moving on, though, I couldn't wait to get my hands on the two Quirks I sought after. It's a shame I couldn't find them sooner, but with me returning to class and restraints, I couldn't exactly do as I pleased, but having those two covers for me helped.
Not only that, but those villains that AFO sent me helped level me up. And his wealth to pay for my sidekicks doing an excellent job.
Status.

Grinning at the grind of doing this work, I felt a sense of happiness fill me. Not only have I been leveling up like crazy, but I've been training like crazy as well.
Fortunately, with All Might taking his time-saving people off to train me, I gained a massive boost to my stats. And playing chess with Nezu in challenging puzzle games involving the mind certainly helped increase my INT stat greatly.
Skill List.
----
Description: This passive skill can be unlocked once the player reaches 100 stats in AGI. Described as the user with this ability can go from one motion to another effortlessly, effectively dodge attacks, swing from things easily, sprint, do back-flips, leap across rooftops, and numerous other gymnastic, athletic, and martial implements with little to no effort.
Agility is "the ability to rapidly respond or change by adapting its initial stable configuration", the ability to change the body's position efficiently, and requires the integration of isolated movement skills using a combination of balance, bodily coordination, speed, reflexes, strength, and endurance.
-This passive skill grants the user an increase of 15% in evasion and speed.
Description: This passive skill can be unlocked once the character reaches 100 stats in VIT. Described as the ability of the user to endure physical stresses beyond the capabilities of the greatest humans, enabling them to do things such as tolerate extreme amounts of physical pain, have their limbs ripped off, have their bones completely crushed, be corroded by acid, and even resist extremely painful headaches for prolonged periods.
They can also hold their breath for longer intervals, like 2-3 hours, and always remain calm through any stressful or painful situations. Users can also tolerate extreme hunger, unbearable thirst, and strong urges to sleep. Being able to stay active for 48 hours to 72 hours without food, water, and sleep.
-HP recovery time/rate is reduced by 5%.
Description: This passive skill can be unlocked once the player reaches 100 stats in SEN. The user has extremely accurate senses, allowing them to see, hear, smell, taste, and feel better than the best member of his species. On this level, the user may be capable of developing other senses with the user's senses beyond peak human limits but below high superhuman levels.
-Sense Focusing: The user can focus their senses to look for a particular sight/sound/smell/taste/feel and block out all others.
-This passive skill grants the user an increase of physical attributes by 5% only active in battle.
Description: This passive skill can be unlocked once the player reaches 100 stats in STR. Described as the fact that the user can lift thousands of pounds to tens of thousands and perform any offensive action with the force of a massive vehicle. The user can lift cars, trucks, buses, small to moderately sized boulders, tall trees, and a few times the weight of peak humans.
The user can perform any biological strike or use objects with mighty power, such as destroying bridges, road vehicles, and trees and killing massive creatures that require guns, small explosives, missiles, or chemical/biological/radiological weapons.
-This passive skill grants the user an increase of 5% in Melee Damage.
Description: This passive skill can be unlocked once the character reaches 100 stats in INT. Described as the user's mental abilities, capabilities, and attributes are above ordinary members of their species, beyond what can be emulated via natural training and with little to no maintenance.
This entails that they are more intelligent, intuitive, creative, charismatic, instinctive, wiser, and have a higher brain capacity and deductive ability than all other members of their species, such as humans, without being supernatural.
-This passive skill grants the user MP recovery time, and the rate is reduced by 5%.

Random chance tilts in their favor most of the time, and beneficial coincidences occur for the user at abnormal rates.
-This passive skill grants the user protection from [Medium Misfortune].

With these passive skills, I'll be able to handle most people now. Not only that, but managing to get both Gentle Criminal and La Brava proved to be beneficial to me.
To be exact, getting La Brava to me was more important than getting Gentle Criminal. But if I can use him for extra work, then why not get the loyal labor?
Her expertise would be greatly appreciated. Not only that, I also made sure to remove Rody Soul from the equation, helping him leave his place living at Nabu Island after helping him learn the language and training him to be my private pilot on standby.
Even helped his siblings adjust to their new life in Japan. It was a pain to train them or create items to learn a foreign language faster, but it was all worth it, having him out of the movie event equation.
But my thoughts were interrupted as Izuku spoke up in a stunned tone, "Whoa! The streets are so busy!"
Walking beside him was Shoto as he replied, carrying bags of supplies, "Yeah, well, I guess it is the biggest city in Otheon."
Bakugo sighed as he grumbled in an annoyed tone about their situation, carrying his supplies. "Sigh… Being told to wait on standby is one thing. But since when do I get treated like an errand boy?"
Shoto, the ever-oblivious one, replied stoically to their situation as I have my supplies in my [Sub-Space], "It's because we're the lowest ranking members in our group. The only reason we got called up in the first place is because we're doing our work studies at Endeavor's Agency."
Bakugo grumbled as Izuku chimed in as we walked together, explaining his reasoning in a calm tone, "Yeah. I joined because I was working with Sir Nighteye, hoping to get some key info from Humarise. And with me being Quirkless in my Armored Deku, their gas would be useless on someone like me."
Raising an eyebrow, I replied, congratulating the broccoli boy in his steampunk attire in a casual tone, "Sounds like a good solid plan to me on Nighteye's side. For me, though, All Might gave me free rein to go out and find the info myself with my [Observe] skill. Could never know what I would stumble to find."
Bakugo, as usual, cursed at me, with Shoto nodding his head as he said stoically, "Yeah, but we're freebies that were thrown in."
But it was when Izuku spoke up in a serious tone, clenching his supply bags, "Still. We have a huge responsibility here. Our job is to protect the world from Humarise. And we will find them. We'll make sure of it."
Nodding in understanding, Bakugo spoke up, showing a rare serious expression as he stated in a determined tone, "The stupid organization is full of obsessed idiots. Why do they believe the Quirk Doomsday Theory? They're taking a hypothetical idea and using it to justify their crimes."
I simply remained silent after hearing that comment. The Humarise Cult isn't exactly wrong about the Quirk Doomsday Theory, but it's not right, either.
Humarise is a cult-like religious organization originating from Otheon, whose creed is based on the blind belief in the Quirk Singularity Doomsday Theory, which conjectures that as generations pass, Quirks will become increasingly powerful to the point that they will become uncontrollable, triggering the end of mankind. Although this theory has not been proven, the members of Humarise believe in its certainty.
Humarise's members are mostly non-Quirk people, though they also have numerous Quirk users, including their founder. These Quirk users truly believe in Humarise's creed and want to atone for being born with powers by giving their lives for the cause, but others just submit and work for Humarise so they don't get wiped out with the rest of Quirk users worldwide, rather than out of genuine ideological dedication.
But the cases of the new generation gaining powerful Quirks are concerning. I should probably make countermeasures just in case someone is born powerful enough to one day be strong enough to defeat me.
*BOOOOM*
My thoughts stopped as two villains made a dust smoke screen from a nearby alleyway. My eyes narrowed as two villains were rushing out, holding a briefcase.
Guess duty calls. Briefly adjusting myself, I flashed over to them using [Full Cowl] with the trio following up.
*SWOOOSH*
Arriving in a flash, the two villains' expression paled upon seeing me. They were about to use their Quirks, but me using [Negation] on them nullified their powers.
*KRACKLE*
Their confusion was evident, pausing till Todoroki froze them in place as the police began to come over with Izuku confiscating the suitcase. Having captured two villains completely, I then got a text message from my sidekicks.
*Beep*
Reading over the contents of the message, I smiled lightly as Bakugo caught my expression, asking bluntly, "Oi! Thief, what's with that smug expression on your face?"
Eyeing the area, I saw the police eyeing us carefully as they took the villains away. Not taking any chances, I humbly replied with a white lie, "Nothing, just All Might asked for us to come with. He wants it done snappy!"
They blinked, confused, but got the hint as we moved away from the police. But making sure we were away, Shoto asked first in a confused tone, "Okay, what was the real reason why you dragged us here?"
In a secluded alleyway, I revealed a text message from my sidekick as I explained in a serious tone, "Because the police are compromised. I saw their Humarise titles on them and that my sidekicks found someone vital against Humarise. One of the scientists that created the Trigger Bombs."
Their eyes widened at my words as Izuku blinked bluntly, saying, "Okay, when the heck did you get sidekicks already?"
Bakugo clicked his teeth, reminding Izuku of the serious piece of information. "Oi! Nerds, get your priorities straight, Deku!"
Helplessly sighing at their interaction, Shoto asked in a hushed tone, going into hero mode, as I call it, "Where can we meet the scientist? And is the location secured without any prying eyes?"
*Swf*
Nodding my head and gazing around carefully, I opened a portal, gesturing for them to enter inside in a hushed tone. "I had my sidekicks get a private room away from prying eyes. Don't send any electronic messages. I'll bring them over. Just guard the scientist till they come."
They all nodded in understanding as they entered through the portal. I began to text message the other heroes of their location where to meet up so they could be briefed using the private hero network.
