After listening to Hu Da Li complain for a while… Di Tou was astounded to realise that he was feeling even more hungry than before! But after a moment of thought, the reasoning was very obvious.
Once more, Di Tou had tuned out Hu Da Li, using his Spiritual Sense to 'listen to' and 'record' what Hu Da Li was saying so he could respond later if anything important was brought up, but focusing internally on his thoughts. But it just so happened that every third word of complaint out of Hu Da Li's complaints was the name of another food dish that could be made using flower petals! Listening to the names of nearly twenty dishes back to back, it was only natural that Di Tou's hunger, which had just been ignited before being denied, was once again provoked.
