Chapter 3
Sofia Hamilton felt uncomfortable listening to his domineering and strong tone.
"Do you think that in the future, whoever I associate with has to get your approval? Ryan Gregory, aren't you going too far? Can't I even be friends with him? Do I have to avoid him whenever I see him?"
She looked at him mockingly, laughing coldly as she asked, "What about you? If I don't allow you to associate with someone, can you do that too?"
The way he deliberately behaved at the dinner table, treating her as if she were Regina Brown in front of everyone, had already made her feel incredibly stifled.
Ryan Gregory furrowed his brows, trying hard to suppress his emotions, not wanting to argue with her, and reached for her wrist again, "Come, go inside with me."
He wanted to pull her inside, but Sofia shook off his hand, "Ryan Gregory, are you addicted to acting? Taking me for Regina, do you find playing the good husband role amusing?"
