After the formal introductions and pleasantries, we dove into the official discussions.
There was talk of alliances, strategies for dealing with external threats, and strengthening the relationship between Nazarick and the Underworld. The meeting was progressing as expected, with Sirzechs, Ajuka, and the others providing their input on various topics.
Despite the earlier tension between my guardians and the women of the Underworld, things remained civil, and the atmosphere was professional.
But I knew the real reason for this meeting hadn't been touched yet. All the formal talk was a prelude to the main issue, the one I had called them here to discuss—the love triangle between Rias, Sona, and me. It was something I couldn't avoid any longer.
It wasn't just a personal matter. Rias, being Sirzechs' sister, and Sona, being Serafall's, made this a delicate issue of both family and politics.
Both women were also the heiresses to their respective houses—the Gremory and Sitri families—houses that produced successors to the Lucifer and Leviathan titles.
This made the situation far more complex, as it wasn't just about love or relationships; it was about legacy, the future of the Underworld, and the political ramifications of my involvement with both of them.
After a lull in the conversation, I decided it was time to address the elephant in the room. I leaned forward slightly, glancing at Sirzechs and Serafall, who had remained mostly silent during the formal discussions. Their eyes met mine, as if they knew what was coming.
"There is something more personal, yet equally important, that we need to discuss," I began, my tone serious but respectful. "It concerns Rias and Sona."
Sirzechs straightened in his seat, his expression was unreadable, while Serafall's playful demeanor seemed to fade into something more focused.
Rias and Sona, sitting to the side, exchanged nervous glances, clearly aware of what was coming but unsure of how it would play out.
I continued, "As you know, Rias and Sona are both important to me, not just as allies, but as... my lovers."
There was a moment of silence in the room, the weight of my words hanging in the air.
I could feel Albedo and Shalltear stiffen beside me, but they held their tongues, knowing this was not their place to speak.
"I understand the significance of this," I said, addressing both Sirzechs and Serafall directly. "Rias and Sona are the future of the Gremory and Sitri houses. They are the sisters of two of the Underworld's most powerful leaders. My relationship with them isn't just a personal matter—it's something that affects the political landscape of the Underworld itself."
Sirzechs nodded slowly, his expression thoughtful. "You're right, Alex. This isn't something that can be taken lightly. Rias and Sona are not just any women—they carry the weight of their families, their legacies."
Serafall, usually bubbly and carefree, had a more serious expression as she added, "It's true. Sona, as the next head of the Sitri family, has responsibilities and expectations placed on her. The same goes for Rias."
I looked at the two women, both of them sitting quietly, their eyes lowered.
This wasn't just about my feelings for them, or theirs for me. It was about their futures, the future of their families, and the future of the Underworld.
Sure, I have the power to destroy underworld but Rias, Sona and even Serafall is my lover so I interested in keeping a healthy relationship with their families not a hostile relationship.
"I want to be clear," I said. "I care deeply for both Rias and Sona. I don't want to hurt them or cause any conflict between them or their families. But at the same time, I can't deny how I feel about them. So if they wishes then they will be with me even if I have to go against whole underworld."
Hearing my statement, Ajuka shivered in his seat for a moment.
Sirzechs leaned back in his chair, his eyes flicking between me, Rias, and Sona. After a long pause, he spoke,
*Sigh*"As Rias' brother, I trust her judgment. If this is what she wants, then I will support her. But you need to understand, Alex, that being with both Rias and Sona could have consequences. The Gremory and Sitri families are two of the most powerful in the Underworld, and their union—or in this case, their shared relationship with you—will be heavily scrutinized."
Serafall nodded in agreement. "He's right. The other houses will be watching closely. But..." She glanced at Sona with a fond smile, "If my little So-tan is happy, then I'm willing to support this. Just make sure you know what you're getting into, Alex. There are more eyes on you now than ever before."
I looked at Rias and Sona, both of whom had been quiet throughout the conversation. Rias was the first to speak, her voice soft but determined.
"I know this is complicated," she said, her gaze meeting mine. "But I'm willing to face whatever comes with it. I chose you, Alex, knowing what it could mean."
Sona, always more reserved, nodded in agreement. "The same goes for me. I'm not one to make decisions lightly, but I've thought this through. I'm prepared for whatever consequences may come."
Hearing their Statment, I could hear teeth grinding sounds from both my side. I think both Shalltear and Albedo need a throughout lesson.
