The fight is brief but bloody. In a short time, Kakuzu and Kabuto have slaughtered hundreds of guards standing between them and the research room. Blood and bodies are scattered on the ground, while Kabuto stands with a satisfied expression on his face, observing the corpses he has created.
"It's over," Kakuzu says coldly, stepping forward past the still-warm bodies. "Now, let's see what's valuable here."
"Then, Master Kakuzu, let's go together." Kabuto grins, his voice a whisper full of deceit, as if holding a secret known only to him.
Without further ado, the two approach the large metal door in front of them. Instead of opening the door with their hands, Kabuto and Kakuzu smash it.
Kabuto sticks several Explosive Tags at the center of the door, and within seconds, a massive explosion echoes through the narrow corridor, shattering the door into pieces. Thick smoke rises, enveloping the room.
As the smoke begins to clear, figures inside the room slowly become visible. Standing in a defensive position, a group of mysterious individuals welcomes their arrival. They wear masks with wide, eerie smiles, as if mocking the intruders.
Among them stand strange hybrid creatures—a combination of wolf heads with monkey bodies, and owl heads with lion bodies. The sight is like a nightmare come to life, creating a tense atmosphere that pierces the air.
However, Kakuzu's eyes are fixed on two figures at the back. One of them is Doctor Klezy, a mad scientist who has long been stalked by their clones. Doctor Klezy, with a lab coat stained with strange liquids, stands proudly in front of a row of gleaming scientific equipment. Next to Doctor Klezy stands a muscular woman, her eyes sharp and threatening, ready to attack at any moment.
"Hmm... They are quite numerous," Kakuzu mutters, his voice deep and hoarse, like the rustling of worn banknotes. "I hope this place holds enough valuable items. If not, this will just be a waste of time."
Kabuto chuckles softly, gazing at the rows of tubes and advanced equipment filling the room. "Don't worry, Master Kakuzu. If this place didn't have money, how could they fund all of this?" Kabuto's eyes narrow, calculating as he scans every corner of the laboratory. The large tubes filled with greenish liquid reflect the dim light, creating a cold and futuristic impression, as if they are at the heart of dark technology beyond imagination.
As they step further into the room, the air pressure feels suffocating, and the hum of advanced machines intensifies. Everyone in the room waits, like predators ready to pounce on their prey.
"Kabuto, don't waste my time," Kakuzu says coldly. "If they don't give me a good enough reason... I will make sure they feel my wrath for wasting my time."
Without wasting time, Kakuzu strikes first. The iron wire shooting from Kakuzu's sleeve whizzes through the air, darting with terrifying speed, wrapping around the neck of one of the Smiling Masked Men.
In an instant, the victim is ensnared and lifted, their neck crushed until a clear crack of bones is heard. However, for Kakuzu, this is just a warm-up.
On the other side, Kabuto moves quickly, a cold smile gracing his face. The glowing chakra kunai in Kabuto's hand pierces with deadly precision. Every attack from Kabuto is aimed at vital points: the neck, heart, and head.
Kabuto's movements are sharp and brutal, cutting through the ranks of human enemies like a hot knife through butter.
